Welcome! Welcome to Day 1 of the Papertrey Ink February Countdown! I hope you’ll enjoy this month filled with all things Spring as much as I have. Let’s start out our first day with the new Vase Collection 15 stamp set and dies and the gorgeous Love to Layer: Beautiful Brackets dies, shall we?
The new Vase Collection 15 takes center stage on my sweet, Springtime card. I adore the darling, metal bucket that is the container and beautiful blooms and leaves that create filler for the container. This set has three different sentiments that fit perfectly across the front of the shabby bucket. Adorable!
The lovely blooms come in three different sizes and are just as feminine and delicate as can be! I love their ruffled edges and the wispy greens that accompany them. I used the gorgeous, Weathered Tile Stencil Collection as my background. These flowers are the perfect compliment to these lovely stencils.
You’ll love the new Love to Layer: Beautiful Brackets dies just as I do! This die collection comes in a set of three with one large, lovely bracket, a center oval, and a small, scalloped circle that is just the right size for sentiments. I am smitten with these new products!

Our newest Hot Foil Plate is sure to please with its flowing swirls and delicate designs. The Ornate Swirls Hot Foil Plate is the perfect compliment to our new, Psalm Reflections: February stamp set and coordinating die. The two together are pure beauty!
I started my card using matte aqua foil combined with my Ornate Swirls Hot Foil Plate over white cardstock. It looks so pretty! Part of the fun of Hot Foil Plates is using different color backgrounds and foils together. You’ll love experimenting just as I have. Once you start, you’ll never want to stop!
The coordinating bracket die that accompanies our Psalm Reflections: February stamp set is to die for beautiful! I stamped my Psalm on a die cut white bracket using Ocean Tides ink. I then stamped it in watermark ink and heat embossed it using clear embossing powder. I really wanted my sentiment to look sharp and clear embossing powder really helped.
I then layered my stamped Psalm over a secondary bracket die cut from Bitty Big Harvest Gold paper. Surrounding my Psalm, I’ve used leaves and flowers from the new Into the Blooms: Clover die collection that you’ll be hearing about very soon! It’s fun to frame in our Psalm Reflections with so many different Papertrey Ink florals. It’s hard to choose which to use!

TIPS:
- Lightly add some sparkle to the florals to add some pizzazz.
- Pop up the sentiment panel with foam tape.
TIPS:
- Pop up the focal point sentiment with foam tape to add dimension.
- Cut all the flowers and leaves from Bristol Smooth Surface paper then color blend with distress inks.
- Add white splatters for another element of interest and dimension.
