In the Spotlight – Build-a-Santa

I adore the well-loved Build-A-Santa stamp set and dies.  This delightful set allows you to create your own Santa and accessorize as you wish.  He comes with a darling Santa suit you can stamp in any color and a  fluffy beard and mustache you can stamp or cut from felt or patterned paper.  I stenciled polka dots on my Santa suit by using the Playful Dots stencil.  Imagine using stripes or plaid too!

Add Santa’s hat, his black boots, glasses, blushing cheeks, and cherry red nose, and your Santa is almost complete.  I love the addition of his sack full of gifts too, complete with a bow to tie at the top!

I used the candy canes from this set to create patterned paper for the background of my card.  They’re too cut not to use each time I pull this set out.

To embellish around my Santa, I used the poinsettia dies from the Go-To Gift Card Holder:  Mitten Accessories die and pine from the Tree Essentials stamp set.  My sentiments is perfect for my jolly, old soul and comes from the Just Sentiments:  Be Merry stamp set.
