The Great Cover-Up

Hi everybody, welcome to our next episode of The Great Cover-Up!

Let’s get started!

Hi friends! It’s Dana here today for this week’s Great Cover Up Challenge. This week I am challenging you to pull out your favorite dies and stamp sets to create a gift card holder. I needed a graduation card so that is what I am sharing today, though feel free to create a gift card holder for any occasion.

I started my project by creating my graduation gown with the Go To Gift Card Holder: Congratulations Graduate die set. I ran the gown die through my die cutting machine two times with Dark Indigo cardstock. I then used a strong tape adhesive to attach the two pieces together and create a pocket. *Make sure you leave the neck and shoulder open as that is where your gift card will slide in and out of.

Next, I used the gift card holder die and cap and tassel die to create my tab that will slide in and out of the gown. I used the Treasured Teacher and Congratulations Graduate stamp sets to decorate the gift card holder.

Lastly, I used the Merry Alphabet dies to personalize the gown. I think this such a fun touch! I know the recipient will love it.

Now it’s your turn… pull out some of your favorite dies and create a gift card holder of your own. Thanks for joining me today and I hope you get a chance to play along with this week’s challenge.
