Hi everybody, welcome to our next episode of The Great Cover-Up!
Let’s get started!
I’ve been itching to use the new Vase Collection 7 with these particular flowers from the Wreath Favor Box Sentiments stamp set, but I also needed a baby girl card! I decided to combine the two to create a non-traditional baby card, but I think it turned out just as sweet as can be!
I always mention in my blog posts that when I’m doing multi-step stamping, I always like to take advantage of getting my MISTI set up so I make more than one of something. I decided to create 2 flower tins and made a second card but switched up the papers and sentiment.
I kept the cards cohesive by using the same 2 pattern papers, but switched the placement. It’s always important to mix the scale of prints you choose to keep your card from looking messy or heavy. Mixing prints is one of my favorite things, especially when I sew, but paper can be just as fun!
