Today is all about our newest Feathered Friend…introducing the new Feathered Friends Mini 21 stamp set and dies. I think you’ll love meeting our newest addition! And, you know we love our florals and this month we’ve got the lovely Posies & Sprigs stamp set to introduce you to.
Look at this tiny, sweet Feathered Friend! I adore her layers, roundness, and endearing look in her eyes. I created a warm color scheme using Fine Linen, Sweet Blush, Lovely Lady, Melon Berry, and Honey Nut. I love how these colors mix together when feathers are layered over one another.
I added my bird on a branch using from the Birdie stamp set and a few decorative flowers. I’ve used larger florals and leaves from the new Posies & Sprigs stamp set. I adore this set because it’s the perfect accompaniment to many of other Papertrey Ink stamp sets. The images are 2 or 3-steps each and really come to life with each layer. Love this new floral!
My sentiment is from the new Just Sentiments: Quotes and is one of my favorites from this entire set! I stamped my flowers and added my bird on a Mix & Mat: Pinked Edge die cut. Then added a bit of soft patterned paper behind my focal point by using the Scallop Stackers: Small die.
You’ll love seeing how each of the designers used this sweet bird…it’s so fun to see how each interprets it in color, style, and surrounding elements.

TIPS:
- Create a mini wreath by cutting out several branches, using a die from the Posies & Sprigs Dies.
- Arrange the branches in a circular shape, overlapping as you go.
TIPS:
- Create “fireworks” or “stars” for your background, by heat-embossing two of little detailed images from the Posies & Springs Stamps.
Next up today, we have the beautiful, new Cornered: Lace die, which coordinates perfectly with our earlier introduced, Elegant Edges: Lace dies. Also, the delightful, new Inside Greetings: Quotes stamp set…you’ll love each of the sentiments included in this!
This gorgeous card Kelly Lunceford created uses our Cornered: Lace die in each corner of her card. Don’t you love the delicate, lattice look? This die set comes with two of these gorgeous corners, each separate, so you can add one decorative corner, two at a time, or more! They can be placed wherever you want on your card. Frame in your sentiment such as Kelly has done here, or just them to bring a lovely, simple accents.
I love how Kelly used the new Posies & Sprigs stamp set and dies to frame in her sentiment. I’ve read this quote before and have always loved it. You’ll find it in the new Inside Greetings: Quotes stamp set. Wouldn’t you love to receive this card in the mail?

TIPS:
- Die cut your images with the Feathered Friends 21 and Posies & Sprigs die sets.
- Use a stamping tool to line up your images and stamp onto the die cuts.
- Create your card panel with Blueberry Sky patterned paper. Frame your panel with a frame die cut with the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame die.
- Use the Inside Greetings: Quotes for Friendship to stamp your sentiment onto a circle that has been die cut with the medium Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle die.
- Attach your sentiment circle to card panel with foam adhesive.
- Attach your stamped images around your sentiment (circle) to create a frame.
