Hi everybody, welcome to our next episode of The Great Cover-Up! Dana will be your guide today!
Let’s get started!
Hi friends! It’s Dana here today and I am the host of this week’s Great Cover Up challenge. This week I am challenging you to pull out a favorite floral set and make a birthday card.
I started my card by making my card panel. I used the Ornate Cover Plate and ran it through my die cutting machine with white cardstock. I then ink blended over the panel with Bright Buttercup and Summer Sunrise ink.
Next, I used the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frame to create my frame for the center of my card. I once again used Bright Buttercup and Summer Sunrise ink to ink blend the frame and then I stamped my sentiment directly onto the inside panel.
Now for the fun part… pull out your favorite floral set and stamp your floral images. I used the gorgeous Prosperous Perennials set and kept my florals and foliage bright and and fun! Once I attached my flowers around the edge of my frame I added a few sequins as a final touch.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope I inspired you to create a floral birthday card. I can’t wait to see what you create.
