Day 4, the final day of our December Release, is here and I’m a little sad that we’re at the end of all of the beautiful new products.  But, without fail, what I’m sharing with you today will be a breath of fresh air and filled with happiness and hope!

Great news!  There’s new vase in town to add to our growing Vase Collection series.  Welcome the cutest container ever, the Vase Collection 6 stamp set and dies.  I adore the metal bucket feel and look to this darling new addition.  Our designer Dana Kirby cut her vase from Stamper’s Select White and added Soft Stone to create the irresistible details.  Aren’t those scallops across the top of her vase the cutest things?

The florals from our new Towering Stems stamp set and dies coordinate perfectly with this stamp set.  Dana’s card uses all of the colors of spring including a soft blue sky she created by ink blending Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores over her background.  I love the simple sentiment she added from the Essential Sentiments stamp set.  Such a treat!

Supplies Used:

STAMPS:  Vase Collection 6, Towering Stems, Essential Sentiments

DIES:  Vase Collection 6, Towering Stems, Essential Sentiments, Border Bling:  Postage Frames

OTHER: Clear sequins

TIP:

  • I stamped the bouquet twice & colored both similar. I use one whole & mounted with 3d tape, the other I cut up into pieces & use them to fill out the bouquet giving a layered 3d look. I put some in front of the whole one & some in back.

This project created by our designer Melody Rupple uses the gorgeous, new Towering Stems stamp set and dies.  There are so many things I love about these new florals.  First, let’s start with the wrap you can use to bundle up these sweet blooms.  This wrap reminds me of a flower market where you can pick out your blooms and walk away with them wrapped up ready to share with someone special.  Wouldn’t you love to be the recipient of this gorgeous bouquet?  Melody’s stark white border, backed with Bitty Big Pure Poppy paper, sure makes her Towering Stems stand out beautifully.

Next, I adore the mix of flowers to choose from in this delightful set.  They are various in shape and size, and can easily transition from one occasion to another.  Melody created this card to send to someone with love.  She added a sentiment across her bouquet by using the new With Love Mini stamp set.  It’s beautiful in its simplicity.  I can imagine using this set to wish someone healing, sympathy, congratulations, and many other special events.  I love the dark Scarlet Jewel flowers Melody mixed in with her pinks and purples!  And her wrap cut from Stamper’s Select White and stamped in Soft Stone adds just the right touch of softness to let her Towering Stems shine!

Supplies Used:

STAMPS:  Towering Stems, With Love Mini

DIES:  Towering Stems, Border Bling:  Flower Frames, Nesting Basics:  Rectangle

INK:  Pure Poppy, Scarlet Jewel, Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise, Lemon Tart, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss, Soft Stone, True Black

PAPER:  Stamper’s Select White, Bitty Big Pure Poppy

OTHER:  White rhinestones, foam tape

TIPS:

  • To add “texture” to the bouquet wrapping paper I double-stamped it with darker ink along the edges.
  • When I was assembling the bouquet I alternated flowers of different colors.
  • Border Bling: Tin Stitch cover pairs perfectly with an elegant flower bouquet.

I think I gasped out loud when I first saw this gorgeous card our designer Svitlana Shayevich created.  This card uses only dies and cardstock!  She’s used our new Feathered Friends 18 dies and created a stunning, unforgettable card.  Did you ever think a peacock would become one of our Feathered Friends?  It’s truly a work of art!

Svitlana cut her peacock from gold metallic cardstock in two different hues.  Using slightly different shades created a gorgeous depth and dimension to the feathers and body of the peacock.  Her use of the new Cover Plate:  Elegance die layered over a True Black card base of the same color creates true elegance and just the right amount of texture.

Supplies Used:

PAPER:  True Black

DIES:  Feathered Friends 18, Cover Plate:  Elegance, To Die For Sentiments:  Hello Beautiful

OTHER:  Gold Foil Cardstock, Gold Mirror Cardstock, sequins.

TIPS:

  • I used gold cardstock of two different shades for different elements of the peacock to avoid them blending together.
  • I also used thin black adhesive foam squares to pop each layer onto the one underneath for the same reason.
  • I made the bold textured tone-on-tone background to add more drama to the card.
  • Black details on the gold peacock as well as gold crystals tie the black and gold elements together.

Sit back and enjoy the gorgeous things our designers have ready to share with you!
