Hi everybody, welcome to our next episode of The Great Cover-Up! Amy will be your guide today!
Let’s get started!
The new “Joyful Florals” stamp set and dies create my favorite rustic, woodsy look on any project! I decided to make some little swags around a wooden frame that I made by stamping the “Weathered Wood Background” in pink ink, then cutting it with the “Antique Wishes Frame” die.
The layered, two-step poinsettia stamps are so easy to line up! Using my Misti tool for repeat stamping, I dabbed different shades of pink ink to the images with a sponge dauber for some color variation. I even took out some water-based markers and added different shades to the berries and leaves!
I wanted texture in the background, so I glued some snowflake cut-outs from “Border Bling: Snowflakes” to white cardstock. I stacked and glued together three die cut sentiments from “Joyful Florals” as a finishing touch.
DIES: Joyful Florals, Antique Wishes, Border Bling: Snowflakes
PAPER: Scarlet Jewel. Stamper’s Select White
OTHER: Nuvo Drops in white, Wink of Stella glitter pen in clear, assorted inks and Tombow markers
