Loads of Love + Inside Greetings: Thinking of You + Loads of Healing

It’s Day 2 of our December Release, and while the world is busy preparing for Christmas, we’re happy to be sharing projects that will warm your heart and lighten your load when it comes to creating cards for those in need of a hug, get well wishes, encouragement, healing, and lots of love. Introducing the new Loads of Love and Loads of Healing stamp sets and dies.

My first card uses the Loads of Love stamp set and dies.  Remember our sweet Holiday Wagon from a previous release?  Well, we’re filling it full of more goodies so you can use it throughout the year.  I never thought I could love a wagon so much!

This darling set comes with assorted hearts, balloons, flowers, leaves, an arrow, the sweetest sentiments, and even a strawberry that you can dip in chocolate and drizzle with white chocolate if you choose!  Yes, please!  I filled my wagon with various hearts and the leaves from the flowers in this set.  The banner across the front of my wagon might just be my favorite thing on the planet right now.  I used the tiny heart from this set and stamped hearts across my Sweet Blush banner.

I adore the plump heart balloon in this set.  The shape of it is happy and full and brimming with playfulness.  I added one of the fun Conversation Heart sentiments to a smaller heart and added it to the center of my balloon.  Because I love the banners in this set so much, I stamped and draped them across the top of my balloon, adding in a couple of flowers to finish it off.  I added a few dots to my flowers using my white gel pen.  Truly such a delightful set to create with.

Supplies Used:

STAMPS:  Holiday Wagon, Loads of Love

INK:  Aqua Mist, Hawaiian Shores, Berry Sorbet, Hibiscus Burst, Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz, Pure Poppy, Olive Twist, Fine Linen, Simply Chartreuse, New Leaf

PAPER:  Sweet Blush, Stamper’s Select White, Pure Poppy, Bitty Big Sweet Blush, Monthly Moments:  May Journal Card pack

DIES:  Holiday Wagon, Load of Love, Love to Layer:  Aztec, Mix & Mat:  Snowflakes

OTHER:  adhesive gems, patterned paper, corner rounder, white gel pen

TIPS:
  • String twine through the holes in the Doily Die Cut
  • Add silver drops to the center of the wheels
  • Attach the wagon with foam tape to add dimension and allow room to add items to the wagon

Let’s take a look at the new Loads of Healing stamp set and dies next.

Isn’t a wagon full of tulips, greens, and a tiny cup of tea the funnest way to wish someone well?  The Loads of Healing stamp set comes with a box of Kleenex, a can of soup, flowers, sunshine, a bandaid, cup of tea, and sentiments to melt your heart.

I used the tiny heart from this set to embellish the center of my wagon wheels, also adding them in spots on my card to tie everything together.  I wanted a more weathered feel on my wagon, so I used Honey Nut ink and the Weathered Wood Background stamp set across my Spring Moss wagon.

I thought that in the center of the sunshine would be the perfect spot for my sentiment.  It’s kind of fun creating a card to wish someone well, isn’t it?  Especially when you have cute supplies like these!  In the background I used the Clouds Stencil Collection, wanting to tie the sunshine in with a bright blue sky and clouds.  I added a spritz of water to my clouds to help them take on a watered down, soft look.  To add a bit of shimmer and shine as I finished my card, I used Stickles Crystal glitter to my sun rays, flowers, and the tiny orange in the cup of tea.

Are you excited to create with these new sets?  I bet your creative juices are already flowing.  Keep scrolling and enjoy the beautiful things our designers have created for you.
