Hi everybody, welcome to our new feature What do I do with this? For this challenge our designers will get to try out some of these new tools and share the projects they created using them. We’ve got some fun, new things coming to the Papertrey Ink store and our designers will show you how to use them so you’ll be comfortable incorporating them into your card-making and gift-giving. Stay tuned for exciting and creative things coming your way! We want to share what our designers love with you, and this gives you a first-hand look into their crafty-faves!

Tim Holtz Grit Paste is an awesome product to add dimension to your projects! You can add a blizzard-full and dazzle with texture, or just brush on little drifts. You can use it with stencils, for a background or three dimensional projects, or add some to stamped images like I did here. The new “Snowfall” paste is the perfect texture and when sprinkled with glitter over the top, it makes beautiful little sparking drifts on this tree from “Oh Holy Night.” The paste adheres the glitter and dries quickly.

The adorable Holiday Wagon set is perfect for a sweet card for the young and old alike! I loved pairing it with Grand Holiday Sentiments and the featured Tim Holtz products for a vintage feel. I stamped the sentiment in StazOn permanent ink then coated the entire piece in the Icicle Crackle Paste. Before letting it dry, I sprinkled iridescent glitter over just the word “bright.” The paste is clear and shiny, with subtle crackle, and it seals the glitter perfectly!
The “Snowfall” Grit Paste was added to the wagon and the Christmas tree for snowy texture, and also sprinkled with glitter before drying. There is maximum shine factor on this card! I hope it’s a sparkling treat for the recipient, bringing smiles and fond memories of past Christmas mornings!
