The Great Cover-Up

Hi everybody, welcome to our next episode of The Great Cover-Up!  Melody and Svitlana will be your guides today!

Let’s get started!

Using Dies is an easy way to quickly add layers and depth to a card. I started by die cutting the Border Bling: Snow Flakes Dies. I saved the die cut snowflakes that are die cut out of the border to use as embellishments. Behind the snowflakes I added a panel of the dot pattern in the Bitty Big: Spring Rain Color Collection. The next layer is a frame cut with the middle sized die in the Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frames. I added more Spring Rain patterned paper behind the frame. The next layer is a circle die cut with Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle Die. I finished off the card with the beautiful greenery and flower for the Into the Blooms: Dahlia Die. I used Ripe Avocado  and Simply chartreuse cardstocks for the greenery and added touches of glitter to add to the winter feel.

STAMPS: Just Sentiments: Snow Mini Stamp Set
DIES: Border Bling: Snow Flakes, Into the Blooms: Dahlia Die, Love to Layer: Scalloped Circle, Border Bling: Skinny Stitched Frames

OTHER: Glue, Glitter, White Rhinestone, White Glittered Paper, Foam Squares
Adorable trees from the Farm Fresh Trees are not only suitable for the tree farm scene cards. When I saw these cute trees I wanted to make a card showcasing a holiday home decor setup.
I stamped a bunch of trees in different colors, including not very traditional pink, teal, and gray ones.
Additionally, I created a vase filled with pinecones. I used masking to make the pinecones look like they’re placed one behind another. To stamp the vase I inked up only edges of the solid stamp from the Vase Collection 3 Stamp Set before stamping.
I made the frame using the Antique Wishes Stamp and Die Sets.
Lastly, I adhered all elements onto a card base and popped up the sentiment to finish off the card.
