RELEASE ORDERING
“Creating something fun and colorful with the String Lights border die was my goal here. I chose pretty hues from Ink to Paper’s lineup and turned them into a string of bulbs that I’d happily wrap around my own Christmas tree. Pairing that with embossed and die cut words from Winter Warmth adds extra color and a dose of good tidings for just about anyone on this year’s Christmas card list!”
“This card came about accidentally. I have a scrap piece of colored cardstock that I test watermark-inked images on before I stamp them ‘for real’ and this piece also happened to be the test run for the Border Bling Frame Base and Stitched dies. After cutting, the scrap frame was full of randomly stamped images and I actually liked the way it looked! I stamped many of the images and words from Winter Warmth in Melon Berry ink on matching cardstock, then cut out the frame with the stitched border for a similar appearance.”

“It’s always fun when you discover a new “favorite”; you know, that stamp or die that you know you’ll reach for again and again? For me, I’ve found it with the new Border Bling: Tin Stitched die! It pairs so perfectly with all of the new stamps from this mini release!”

“With the candle images from Winter Warmth, I set out to create something soft and peaceful. Burning candles during the year’s colder months is always a cozy experience, especially when the lights have been turned down low and the soft glow radiates around the room. Nature’s elements like the pinecones and branches from Winter Warmth also help to instill that peaceful feeling. This was the perfect opportunity to use the Inside Greetings quote about the Lord’s love finding and keeping you warm, which I stamped on the inside of the card.“

“I love how the Border Bling: String Lights can be both whimsical or elegant, depending on the color palette you use! Here I chose to use both liver and gold for the lights with a black backdrop. I combined both the Basic Border: Rectangle and Border Bling: Stitched to die cut the black frame. To lighten the black up just a bit, I rubbed a hint of white ink over it in several places.”
