Can you believe the gorgeous watercolor on Melissa’s butterfly? She managed to capture the vibrant color of these magnificent creatures without losing their delicate nature. Her choice to mount the butterfly on the flowery Shape Shifters oval was also totally inspired. Brilliant!

Amy’s non-traditional color palette on this card is so unexpected and fresh! The black accents add a modern flair and nice contrast against all of the lighter tones. I love how she even personalized her card with the grade highlighted in one of the apples.

I love how Amy chose to stamp her sentiment on the patterned vellum rather than the solid cardstock underneath. It adds such interest to her greeting. Again, that pop of black is such a nice contrast against the pastels happening in her project. Absolutely lovely!

I wasn’t sure about the butterflies…but Melissa’s “neutral” card with the butterflies embossed in silver is just WOW!!!! I also really like the school sets and teacher recognition. I find myself looking for sets like that now that my kids are in a traditional school setting.
I love the new Big Apple collection – that will be fun for fall projects as well as teacher projects throughout the year! The double-tabbed die is a genius touch, I can see that working with a number of other dies too.

I am loving this release!! The butterflies are gorgeous and I love the ideas that the designers are giving us for how to use this stamp and die set! I am a retired teacher and I adore the teacher stamps and dies! I’m already thinking of the great thank you cards I can make to give to my teacher friends. Teachers never have enough thank you cards!! My “must have” list keeps growing…I can’t wait to see what’s coming in the next few days!!

I love the shape and beauty of Heather’s new butterfly in her Butterfly Blooms. I also love the large with coordinating smaller butterflies together, as in Lizzie Jones’ card. Lizzie’s card really is my style and I can hardly wait to use some of my ideas with this set! Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s samples!
