Great video Lizzie! I do love that we get to see the person who is doing the video in the beginning. Your stenciled edges really add the right touch to make the focal point pop.

Your card is just stunning, Lizzie!

I agree – nice to see you on the video. Your card is so pretty. I noted the layering colors you used because they look so nice together. I just made a card last night using a similar process. Sorry I haven’t figured out how to post a picture yet. The card just needed something and a little stenciling added the right touch. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card.

The Sweet Life is one of my all-time favorite sets & I love the color combo you used, Lizzie! The stenciled edges look wonderful–something I’ve never done! Thank you for the great video & inspiration!

Nice technique. I liked that you laid down a bit of color before using the stencil to soften the white background.
I also wanted to point out that the link included is incorrect. It is for Melissa Phillips’s blog and not Lizzie’s. Oopsie…

Thank you, Katy! I had changed the one at the top, but missed the one at the bottom. I appreciate the help!

Hi Lizzie,
First of all I love the card! Second I was wondering what knife blade you used to cut the cardstock? I work for a company that manufactures the Swann Morton craft blades, which are made to surgical quality. They start sharp and stay sharp for a long time. I’d be happy to send you some samples if you are interested in trying something new.

Gorgeous card and great video! Never thought about just lightly stenciling around the edges of a card but I really like this look and will definitely be giving it a try. Thanks for the inspiration!
