September 2017 Release: Day 4

If you aren't in the holiday spirit yet, today will definitely change that! We have some exciting festive and fun new products to share with you today! So cue the holiday music and let's get started!

The Holiday Tag Along kit contains everything you need to make gorgeous holiday tags that are deceptively easy! Start with the tag base, which is great on its own, or mix and match it with the various patterned insert dies. Then choose your sentiment to stamp in the solid circlular that remains. The coordinating stencils allow you to play around with different inking techniques, or pull out your embossing paste to create dimensional effects. The patterned papers can be cut with just the tag base, or used in combination with the insert dies to cut lacy, colorful designs in a snap. The festive baker’s twine and sequins offer the perfect finishing touches. Of course all of the amazing tools in the kit can be used on cards as well!

Melissa Phillips is joining me today, featuring Quoted: Favorite Things.

This is one of my absolute favorite quotes from traditional holiday music and I was so excited to be able to design a set that captured the whimsy and joy in the words. Melissa used the set flawlessly with this gorgeous project. I love how she paired it up with the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs die collection, it really is a perfect fit.

My jaw was literally agape when I first peeked at this gorgeous tag. It it simple in design, but really has so many great design elements that capture your attention. The Beautiful Berries: Winter was as perfect pairing for these quotes and I love how Melissa showcased the quote on the Holiday Tag Along Kit die-cut tag.

The way Melissa tied the new Gift Card Cozy envelope shut with actual string to reflect the quote is just precious. And that tiny tag attached with a clothespin? Dying! There is so much to love about this project, from the sheet music detail to the stamped holly.

Soft and delicate are two terms that come to mind with this project. The watercolored touches on the die-cut Cutaway Tags: Winter is breathtaking. I also love how Laurie used the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs dies here. Its a subtle look but adds a little something special to help highlight the tag in the center.

All of us want as many options as possible when it come to the products we select to purchase, and Cutaway Tags: Winter stamp set can definitely work alone just as well as it does in conjunction with the tag die-cut. I love how Laurie added a lighter green watercolored background behind the holly. The bold red & white striped paper is a nice contrast to the softness of the holly too.
