Today, Lizzie is sharing on her blog a great idea for storing and organizing your blending sponges:
“I think most of you have come to notice that I love ink blending – I seem to be blending on nearly every card these days! And thanks in part to all of Papertrey’s beautiful ink colors, my blending sponges were starting to get a little unruly. So I set out to find a solution that would be cost effective, easy to establish, and effortless to keep organized. I hope you’ll stop by for a peek at the result of my search. Maybe it will work for you, too!”
- PAPER: Stamper's Select White
- OTHER: Mini Kraft Binder, Avery Mini Heavyweight Sheet Protectors, Ranger Mini Ink Blending Foam Sponges, Vkey ¾” Hook & Loop Dots, Computer, Printer
That’s an awesome tip, Lizzie! (Considering I have all of my sponges in one baggie, yikes)!
great idea!
I agree, this is fabulous idea. Thanks for sharing this tip with us.
Clever idea. I was going to attach my foam pads to the bottom of my ink pads using Velcro but I don’t have space for an ink organizer like yours and have to stack the ink pads in baskets. If I put the foam pads on the bottom, the ink pads don’t stack as nicely and take up more room. Plus if the foam pad isn’t completely dry you run the risk of getting ink on the lid of the ink pad stored next to it. I’ve been struggling to find another solution and this might just be it. Thanks for the inspiration!
I like this idea alot, I was just using these the other day and trying to figure out the best way to keep them organized.
LOVE this idea! Wish it would work for my favorite Jumdo daubers by Tsukineko. 🙂
Great idea. Thanks for sharing!
Great idea! I started attaching the sponges underneath the ink pad, but not all of ink pads will sit flat. This is a great way to keep everything uniform. Thanks for the tip!
This is a great idea. Now I want to see how you store your stamp sets too!!
Creative idea for organizing all those inking sponges. Love it!
Looks great, love the organization!
Great idea, Lizzie! I’d love to see more organization tips here.
I too love this idea, however when I download the file it doesn’t print the way yours seems to.
Can you help me?
like this idea, thanks
