I'm pleased to share our new monthly planner feature from Lexi Daly! This will be replacing the Moments Inked newsletter that we previously published. Lexi is an innovative and dedicated planner user and she has so much to share!
Hello! Welcome to my first monthly guest post as the new Moments Inked Planner Ambassador! I’ve really enjoyed getting back into paper planning with the Moments Inked line over the last couple of years, incorporating stamping into my weekly plans, and even creating printed add-ins. So when Nichole asked me to take on this new position, I was really excited and ready to tackle it. From everyday use to new stamp sets and printables, I look forward to sharing both old and new products to help us all keep our planners both fun and functional!
With a new schedule of Papertrey Ink blog events rolling out this year, I thought it would be nice to start off with a printable dashboard dedicated to keeping track of everything so you don’t miss a single inspirational moment. I created two versions depending on how you might use it – one, to fit the full page binder die, and another to fit the note page binder die, both from the Moments Inked: Binder Page Die Collection.
For my planner, I've chosen to go with the smaller size dashboard to move from one month to the next, but you could use the larger size and create a whole section complete with lined and graph paper refills for wish lists, card layouts, and color ideas. Simply download the pdf, print on a standard sheet of card stock at 100%, fit the appropriate die within the guidelines to cut, and then decorate as you wish – although the schedule is so full of goodness that there’s not a lot of room to decorate on the front! I suggest going for it on the back and adding a wish list post it (or two or four!) for release day.
CLICK HERE to Download Papertrey Days Dashboard
In addition to the new schedule, we also have two new Moments Inked stamp sets debuting this month, both created to coordinate with the existing Moments Inked: Boxed Die Collection. The die collection was created to fit the various spaces on the planner and is great for creating stickers that fit into those spaces or help divide the larger column into smaller spaces for checklists, events, etc.
I’ve often used them to create day phrases or decorative elements which led me to design the two new sets, Moments Inked: Day by Day and Moments Inked: Day by Day Blocks. I love incorporating silly phrases to break up the to do's and scheduled events – not only do they make me smile, but they are great for adding a pop of fun and color. Fun and color make me a happy planner!
While there are many stamp sets to create phrases that will continue to be useful for a few one-offs and holidays, I’m so excited to have a set of perfect-fit daily phrases to scatter throughout my weekly spreads. There are several options for each day of the week and a few that aren’t day-specific. Some may get used almost every week (Happy Hump Day!) and others when specifically planned (Taco Tuesday!) or rotated throughout the weeks for variety (TGIF or Fri-yay?). Choices make me happy too!
And Moments Inked: Day by Day Blocks? Well, as you can probably guess, it is a set of pattern block images created to fit the Boxed Dies for a perfect pop of pattern and color – check out the dots behind my quote and the starburst behind Fri-yay! Use them separately or layered behind a phrase or other image as I have. The sky is the limit! Of course, there are great card opportunities with both of these new sets. But this is getting long, so I’ll save that for a few countdown posts on my blog.
I hope you’re as excited about the new Moments Inked stamps and this new monthly blog feature as I am! Until next month…
Happy Planning!
🙂 lexi
Lexi has shared so many clever ways to add color and style to your planner, making planning a fun, creative process rather than drudgery. For today's anniversary challenge, we want you to take on another part of paper crafting that you might see as drudgery, and that is actually getting a card in the mail! Your challenge is to create a new card for someone in your life who could use a little cheering up this week. While you have your supplies out, put as much time into the envelope as you do the card. Perhaps create your own envelope out of a heavier cardstock or watercolor paper. Paint it, ink it, stamp it, brayer it, color it, doodle on it…whatever you are inspired to do, just do it! If you need inspiration, check out all the altered envelopes on Pinterest! Use a unique method to add the address to your envelope. Calligraphy, alphabet stamps, letter stickers, labels, just to name a few. Really have fun with this and make the envelope just as fun to make as the card!
1. Create a new project that includes a card with coordinating altered envelope. And mail it!
2. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product.
3. Upload a photo of your project to your blog, Instagram, online gallery or any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).
4. Add the direct link to your project on our InLinkz list below.
5. ONLY ONE PROJECT ENTRY PER PERSON PLEASE!
6. And/or you can leave a comment here to be eligible to win. Do you use the Moments Inked Basic Planner of Meal Planner? Or do you use another brand of planner? What types of things would you like to see included in this new monthly feature? What area of planning do you struggle with and would like tips on? (Just click the small "comments" link beside the date in the footer of this post. If you are reading this as an email subscription, be sure to click through to the actual blog to leave an eligible comment)
7. You have until 7am ET, Wednesday, March 15th to add your project link or comment and qualify for the contest.
8. TEN randomly selected winners (five comments and five projects) will be announced on our March Release Winners page no later than 9pm ET, March 15th.
TEN randomly selected winners will each receive an $25 Papertrey gift certificate to spend however they choose! Thank you for joining us today and best of luck with the contest!
Lori Cullen says
I am so excited about your ten year anniversary. I still remember getting my first order from you-the original Made of Snow was in it!
Carrie Crafts says
First of all, congratulations on your 10th anniversary! What a milestone! I love the changes and new challenges that are being introduced. I’ll look forward to the new format and features each month! Thank you!
Martha says
Lizzie, thanks for the fun post & lovely inspiration.
Adele Holcomb says
Wish I’d had a planner when I was a young mom, trying to balance work with two young kids who were into all sorts of activities; but as a retiree, I have little need to keep track of much. These planners are pretty cute and look like it would be easy to make them attractive as well as functional. Almost makes me wish I had a busy schedule again. Almost…hah!
Sarosa says
I have a major problem with this challenge: you note we are actually supposed to MAIL it! But that means looking up an address, writing it out, finding a stamp, and actually getting it out to the mailbox. Hmmm … can I rise to the occasion? 🙂 I do not do daily planners, but I do make faith journals, and I can see that your designs could work really well! Thank you!
Karen says
Love the pdf with the schedule of events, and love the new format for the releases!
Aunt Min says
I don’t use planners but the icons are cute. In future Planner Monthly Features, I would like to see a card or tag made using the planner icons.
Summer Sunset54 says
I do use planners, usually ones I can find for a good deal as I just toss them at the end of the year. I do love ones with inspiring quotes, but I find I’m so busy with everything on my to do lists in my planners that there is no time to decorate the planner itself hehe!
Tracy says
I don’t use a planner that I have to create, as I am already so addicted to card-making, I decided I didn’t need to branch out into the planners, but love some of teh cute little stamps!
Nadia K says
I love paper planning! It allows so much creativity that the digital format can’t replicate. Thanks for awesome inspiration!
Melanie Ann MacKenzie says
Really looking forward to this feature. I use a very basic planner so maybe this will be the kick-start I need to make it more decorative and even more useful.
LOVE envelope art so this is a terrific challenge. Cheers.
Dee says
I love the idea of using the planner but I don’t have much need for one. Everything still tempts me into having them.
Angela W says
I don’t really need to use a planner for my activities. However, I think it’s really fun to see all the different ways it has become more fun to decorate the pages. I do wonder how people who are so busy make time to stamp and color in their planner, but I’m glad they do. I’m sure it makes the month a lot more fun to look at than just plain pages!
Terri E. says
I use the passion planner. I had the PTI planner, but it was too bulky for my needs. I do love the stamping that goes into it and like the idea of adding that to my calendar that I use. I can’t wait to see more great ideas throughout the year.
Luanne Ford says
Now that my kids are grown, I don’t use a planner. I do use a monthly calendar though, with big squares to jot anything down I need to remember, like a lunch date or someone’s birthday!
Donna Phelan says
I never got into the whole Planner thing…..BUT I love to see how everyone decorates them! I can certainly doll up an envelope–that sounds more like my speed! lol
jan metcalf says
I use Moments Inked to track activities and appointments and as a quasi journal, noting my gratitude and at least one act of kindness each day, any exercise, as well have monthly sections to sketch new card ideas! Love it! Although I could do much more to add color, organize tasks, use the accompanying dies and stamps…..so glad this is a new feature!
Susan Beauchaine says
I am not a planner gal but I am a Lexi gal! Hers is so cute. If I did use a planner, PTI’s is amazing!
Michelle Michael says
Love seeing the variety of ways to use this set!
kellyv says
love Lexi’s planner goodness and I also love your challenge today! thank you for always coming up with new and fun ideas for us.
Diana K says
I do use a planner binder (currently a pretty Webster’s Pages’ rose gold one that fits in my handbag), but there are no calendar pages in it! I just use it for all the lists I make – I’m a list maker, not a planner. I wish that PTI had smaller planners and lots of pretty colours to choose from.
marcy says
I don’t use a planner but I do enjoy seeing your posts and ideas for them.
Holly Saveur says
great to see..but I don’t use planners only my agenda.
Joyce says
I do have a planner that was gifted to me, but I don’t use it like I should. Im knows bdava just let life happen kinda person since I don’t work outside the home and don’t have kids activities to keep track of. I wish I was!
Now mailing cards and envelope art, I love! I even have a penpal. I just bought a lettering book and I’m waiting for my pens and markers to arrive. I’ve received some beautiful examples! I’ll share in today’s blog post when I’m finished.
Yay! I love this challenge!
Mary-Anne V. says
I do not use any particular planner but I do like writing daily to do lists…keeps me focused for the day. Great ideas and stamps.
erin says
I don’t use either… I use paper to do lists… but I doubt I would spent that much time decorating a to do list….
Donna Gourley says
I’m a huge “list maker” but I don’t use a planner. It’s always seemed to big and bulky for me. I usually make a paper list for the week of things I need to buy and errands I need to run before work/during lunch hour etc. and that seems to work well for me.
Now that my kids are grown (and out of the house) the need to keep up with multiple appointments etc. has also decreased greatly. I do keep up with things at home using a large blotter style calendar that hangs in my laundry room so that I see it before leaving the house on a regular basis.
Jeni says
I don’t use planners at all. I should probably do a meal planner but I probably wouldn’t be hungry for what I had planned for that day 🙂 I do like Lexi’s Papertrey Days download though so I will be downloading that to remind me of the new Papertrey schedule. Thanks!
Dawn@Petals.Paper.SimpleThymes says
I love the new planner stamps! I use a planner filled with beautiful photography and love to letter inspiring quotations in it throughout the year. For me, one of the happiest parts of cardmaking is lettering the address on the envelope and mailing it off to friends and family near and far. Since I mail so many cards each month, I have been keeping a ‘Happy Mail’ Journal. I note the date, recipient, stamp set, and sentiment used. It reminds me to use different stamps for each person, especially those who receive weekly ‘thinking of you’ and encouragement cards. It’s fun to look back through my journal to see just how many cards I have mailed off during the month! ♡
mary lewis says
I love looking at planner posts but don’t use one myself.
Marianne says
So happy today’s challenge is not about planners, because I am definitely not a planner, and never will be. Mailing out more cards is one of my crafty goals for this year, and I think I can manage creating my own envelope and decorating it in some way.
Pat A. says
Since retiring in 2003, I no longer use a planner. But I wish PTI’s planners had been available years ago. I would have been all over that! It would have been so much fun decorating the pages with stamps and color!
Linda C says
Looking forward to the new ideas for the planners. Not used to decorating envelopes though
Jennifer T says
Such fun and cute ideas for planners! I used to have one and I loved filling it in with stickers and colored inks. So many fun ways to personalize them!
Sandy Dayhoff says
I use one of those little pocket planners that’s just slightly bigger than a checkbook, but thinner. It’s enough to keep track of everything, but then I’m retired!
I love the daily challenges – really makes me S-T-R-E-T-C-H my creativity!
Natalie Winterstein says
Awesome! This is really cool. I am not great with a planner but I enjoy finding ways to incorporate these items into other projects. Well.
KKO says
I enjoy seeing the planners in use and liked this post but I don’t use a planner myself– we have a (very) large paper calendar posted and all family members compile their events in this central location.
Envelope art is such a fun challenge–can’t wait to see what everyone creates!
Carmela Hubler says
I love your ideas and inspiration. I received a planner at a women’s conference I just attended. I haven’t gotten into the planner scene but I have been thinking about using some of my stamps to decorate it a bit. I am not sure I would do it on a regular basis as I use my crafting time to make cards. I think some of the ideas can be translated to making cards so I am always open to new techniques. Your website and blog offer a variety of ideas for many different crafters so I love what you offer. Thank you!
BeverlyBL says
Like all those day by day stamps. Lexi, congratulations of becoming planner queen!
Linda M. says
I don’t use a planner, but I’ve been considering getting one. I’m looking forward to this feature as it may help me decide. Thanks!
Dana Kirby says
I love the new format of the release!! So many great ideas!! These planner stamps look perfect and fun!!
Carol Blaisdell says
My activities fit easily on the calendar on the refrigerator. However, my millennial daughter just loves her planner! So, therefore, I usually have a few planner items to help fill her Christmas stocking.
D. Suzanne Cox says
I don’t use a planner; but I enjoy seeing all of the ideas. I do want to ‘branch’ out though. ‘Looking forward to another 10 years!
Kristina says
Cute stamps and ideas for decorating your calendar! I’m excited to see this monthly feature.
Janet S says
I used a planner while I was working, but now, I just use the calendar on my phone. I wish I could have made a cute planner while I worked!
Megan Carroll says
Fun planner post! I’m excited for the envelope challenge….I love beautiful envelopes and mine could use some help!!
Toni Storie says
I really struggle with planning. These planners are super cute and I think it would be fun to create with these products. Does it really save time? Show me how!
Terri (Blindstamper) says
I haven’t gotten into any planners (yet?). The day by day stamp set is adorable though.
Julie C says
Always love additions to the planners. The schedule will be a great reminder until it becomes familiar!
Rita says
I use planners for inspiration, goal-setting, and action plans. For me, I didn’t like seeing my old planners filled with primarily to-do lists and chores so I decided to create more of a “Spark Joy” planner that focuses on how to create days packed with what and who brings me joy. Now when I look back at the year, I see inspirational quotes, captured moments (details of the day) that I want to remember, color and images that make me smile. My daily bulleted “baby steps” is a time capsule of how I achieved dreams bit-by-bit. The planner is also a place for stamping, coloring, journaling which means it’s fun; I enjoy making dashboards, inserts, pockets, bookmarks, and more. I will love stamp sets and dies that I can use for inspiration, gratitude, whimsical tiny characters/images that make me smile, etc. I know PTI will continue to bring amazingly creative and innovative possibilities to Moments Inked.
Michele Lourenco says
What a great stamp set! simple and easy to use is always my preference!
merryf says
I have been using a planner — and the same one — since 1993, even in the years when people laughed at me to be carrying one! It keeps me sane. It uses the smaller-size pages with the 6 holes. My pages are mainly utilitarian and plain but I love this PTI day-by-day download that I can put in every month!
Miriam Prantner says
I’ve only just started using a planner, not quite to the point where I’m decorating, but I always love seeing how people use theirs.
Melissa S. says
Great new planner items. I love the printable Lexi designed too. I hope to play along with this challenge. I have a couple of friends I need to send a card to this week.
Mary W says
Love to learn new ways to document in a colorful planner. This is a welcome addition!
Cindy O says
I’m enjoying all of Lexi’s planner ideas. And the altered envelopes are fun, too! Although I don’t use a special planner, and I’m happy with plain envelopes, I still love seeing the inspiration.
CrafteA says
I don’t use planners, but this sure is making it very desirable. Love the ideas & colors & organization. It looks like a scrap book. I wouldn’t want to write in it!
Donna Oates says
I use this planner and have the basic stamps to track my month and day. Could use some more stamps to track church activities. Like what I see here today. Thanks for the inspiration!
Maureen P says
I’ve tried using a traditional planner, but found it too time consuming. I still use my trusty old calendar planner. Last summer I tried using a bullet journal and that worked for the summer when I had 2 months off. Once work started again, I went back to my old grid calendar.
L. Sunn says
So excited to see more from Lexi! I love her style! While I’m not a planner person, I do love the new stamp sets! They look really versatile!
Suzanne A. says
I struggle with planning in general… but I do enjoy putting pen to paper and would love to have pretty little binders for such things as addresses, passwords, and most of all an inventory of my stamps, dies and inks!
Sue in Grapevine says
Love the printable schedule! I don’t use a brand of planner, just a method in whatever book I choose — Bullet Journaling. I can still use stamps & ink to embellish though.
DIANA L. says
Thanks for the inspiration Lexi, wonderful ideas for journals. I use a calendar and a day runner. I don’t DECORATE EITHER much I just use it funtionally.
Marianne M says
Thanks Lexi! for your inspiration here 🙂 Planning is a must for my daily existence!
Linda says
i always look forward to your planner posts and today did not dissapoint. Love your printable and am doing a happy dance in anticipation of your new sets.
Linda
Jill A says
How fun it is to see–maybe I will have to get a planner!!!
Marcia Hill says
I always made matching envelopes when I first started stamping and then over time I’ve stopped doing it….need to start again as it really is a great AND fun thing to do for me AND the recipient! ?
Liza Dehnel says
Yay Lexi. Looking forward to the new stamps. I’ll be printing these out tonight when I get home.
Mary Jo Johnston says
I love the stamps for the planners! Makes me want to get more organized and start one! =)
super stick chick says
This is a GREAT! challenge. It is true I have a stack of cards that need to be sent, but need a push to get out the door.
Pat says
I don’t use a planner, but I am interested in jazzing up my envelopes a bit!
Denise Bryant says
I have never tried using a planner! Not sure I am organized enough to use it regularly! I tend to have important things (like doctor’s appointments, etc) jotted down on sticky notes! Love looking at all these fabulous planner ideas though!
Teresa Currie says
I have used a generic (Staples/Office Max) planner for many years. Very useful for me for recording daily and weekly appts, commitments, milestones, etc.
Love the look of the PTI planner and Lexi’s colorful and fun inspiration!!
Jen shears says
Happy tenth anniversary! I don’t have a planner anymore- and admit that actually mailing the cards I make is the biggest struggle! Hoping this gives me a nudge!
Jane Sprando says
I haven’t done a planner, but these ideas will get me started!
Sue LD says
I use a regular boring planner so I need to spruce it up.
LeeAnne says
I love the planner ideas and have purchased a PTI planner in the past, but I am not disciplined enough to keep up with it. These fabulous ideas are so refreshing, though!
Becky M says
I don’t normally use a planner but did get one this year for work scheduling and pregnancy tracking. I love all the decorating that everyone does and I think I need to start doing that – it’s so cute!
CathyL says

Sandy says
Happy 10th!! What a wonderful company with brilliant designers! I love the planner idea and all of the adorable things that make it special.

I don’t use a planner, but I find inspiration from all of the design team, so I look forward to this feature. I love the stamps & dies meant for the planners, but can work in so many other projects to!
Dragica W. says
I don’t use a planner but I love the new planner stamps.
Greta H says
I send cards to friends just about every week, but never decorate the envelope. Fun challenge!
VikkiCH says
Your planner looks wonderful but since retirement I haven’t been using anything beyond my iPhone calendar~
Erin S says
Oh, I so would love to use a planner, but all I keep thinking is I would be too busy decorating it to actually keep the planner. Lol. These new products sure entice me even that much more.
Belinda L says
I don’t tend to use a planner anymore but would love to see ideas for other projects with some of these stamps too!
Kathy Mc says
Back in the day, I would have loved PTI’s planner but got away from that when I retired. Love what Lexi is doing though with hers and look forward to her future features using these goodies on cards.
Kirsty Vittetoe says
I have a old organizer that I used for years, looking at all those planner these days, I am so tempting to buy one this year!
Keri says
I don’t currently have a planner. There are so many to choose from! I am more of a list maker than a planner. I tend to keep better track of my events with a calendar hung on the wall…that way I can’t lose it. 😉
Linda E (uncbballfan) says
I would much rather spend my time on cards than decorating a planner, but I do love some of the ideas. Making a coordinating envelope for my card is right up my alley – I love adding this touch to make the outside as fun as the inside!
Joyce M. says
I prefer to use my computer for a calendar, but I recently purchased the PTI meal planner, and have really loved using it. The main reason I wanted to get the meal planner was to help me keep track of the food in my freezer. I often make an extra for the freezer, and was having trouble remembering to check to see what I had when I was thinking about dinners for the week. Now, when I put something in the freezer, I log it in a new section I created in my meal planner. I write what it is, the date, and how many servings. Then, when I am meal planning for the week, I can turn to the freezer section and see if there is a meal already made that I can use during that week. It helps remind me to start the defrost a day or two ahead of time. It is also a big help in reminding me what I have, because I like to wait at least a month before repeating a meal, and that’s hard to remember without a system. It’s kind of like keeping inventory of what is in my freezer.
Karen B. says
I have the pti planner and I use it sometimes. I would like to use it more and I SHOULD. New tips and ideas are always welcome! 🙂
Linda S. says
I do not use planners but so many great ideas for those who do.
Annette says
I use a simple planner, but I simply haven’t got the time to decorate the pages, though love to look at the pages others created. My time rather goes into making cards and tags, joy for me and hopefully for the recipient as well.
Peggy S says
My planner is a spiral bound calendar with plenty of room for daily lists and appointments. it’s not heavyweight paper but I can stamp/doodle on it! I’m looking forward to being inspired in this area.
Natasha says
As much as I love the whole planner trend, I have had two (one for 2015-16, one for 2016-17) and I have barely used them. I love looking at what others use theirs for and I absolutely love the products.
I guess what I’d like to see is the planner products featured in other uses- like I’m starting project life, and I think a lot of the planner products would make really cute inserts for albums
Susan W. says
Lexi has such great ideas for planners! I could have used one back when our four kids were young. But now it’s just my hubby and me and my life has settled down which is good cuz’ now I have more time for my crafting. ?
Vicki Smith says
I don’t use a planner as I am 69 and have no need for one but those who do will love this new feature. Happy Anniversary PTI!
Leanne S says
I don’t use a planner as I have reminders on my phone.
Tammie J. says
I use a combination of electronic calendar on my iPhone, a spiral one at work, AND a re-writable one on my fridge at home. Call me crazy. Back in the day when I used the ring binder from Franklin Day Planner I would have LOVED all of the planning tools Lexi is showing us here. As it is, I can still pull off some of them for the spiral bound I use.
Kathy Krug says
I never really got into doing planners. I keep a simple calendar on my computer. Love this idea for a challeng because I often spend so much time on a card and then I send it in a drab envelope.
Noreen says
All the little extras on each page make the planner colorful and fun!
Emma S says
I really don’t use a planner but every time I see these posts, I almost want to take the plunge! Happy Anniversary!
Debbie says
Just love all of the new features being introduced and look forward to the remainder of the festivities.
Katherine says
Queen of the planners!
Lexi has such great ideas, and her new additions are so much fun!
Cheryl F. says
These planner stamps are such a fun way to keep yourself organized!
TracyK says
I don’t use a paper planner. I keep my calendar electronically so I can access on my phone – much easier and one less thing to haul around! I would rather spend time making cards and working on my other hobbies than decorating a planner. There are just not enough hours in the day!
Sandy Vincent says
I am not at home, so I can’t participate in the mail-a-card challenge. But, as soon as I get home, I need to do this for an aunt of mine battling cancer.
Tammy W says
Envelope art is fun. I wish there were more stamp sets for this with great sentiments for the outside of our envelopes.
StephClapper says
Like many, at this stage in my life, I don’t use a daily planner, even for meals. But I also think that stamps can be made for dual purposes, which would include planners and cards. Happy Anniversary PIT !
Connie Fisher says
Fun idea. I’m loving the new format too
Lorraine says
I used to have a planner – actually I tried a few times, but gave it up. They’re too bulky for me to carry around. I end up using a small monthly calendar that can fit in my purse or the calendar on my phone. But I love seeing all of the cute stamp sets – and use some of the planner sets to make to-do lists, etc.
Gina Eggebrecht says
Oh yay. I LOVE the new planner stamps!!! I am going to love this feature every month and cannot wait to see how Lexi inspires us. I also *love* her print-outs. Her year-at-a-glance print-out is one of my favorite pages in my planner.
Nancy Wilcox says
I don’t have a planner per se but have started using a Bullet Journal. I think these new stamps would work very well with it.
AngPearcy says
Super cute planner stamps Lexi! Great job!
Mutzy Mia says
My planner is one that I can throw in my purse and keep it there. Activities are jotted in pencil as often plans change and I need to be able to accommodate that. I appreciate the cute detail available to add to planners but to be honest any extra time would go into card making, not making my planner pretty. I’m just happy when I can keep what I have current. I had to chuckle at those who no longer need a planner…I’m a grandma and couldn’t live without one!
Jan Pufall says
Great use of different icons for planners and journals.
Felicia says
I hardly ever take time to decorate my envelopes and this may be the challenge for me. I think I’m up to it. Hope to get my entry in soon.
Penny P. says
I don’t use a planner but I do buy the stamps etc. that go with planners to use on cards and scrapbooking.
Oliverw says
I am actually not much of a planner. That may be why I don’t accomplish as much as I should! I think that I will still enjoy reading these posts.
AllysonA says
I don’t have the Moments Inked planner system, but I would love to have one. I’m not really sure what I would want out of it, but from everything I’ve seen, it looks like it covers a lot of bases in a variety of areas. I mostly just keep my calendar in a very rudimentary Excel file, but I have gradually begun to transfer a few appointments and things over to my new iphone. Just too busy to search out anything new, I suppose. But I am loving all the tips and insights here!
Isabel Z says
I don’t have a PTI planner but do enjoy seeing all of the add ons which make me want to give it a try.
KAtherine says
I use many planners, haha! I use MAMBI planners, for schedule and one for fitness. I also make smaller notebooks for bible study, to do list, etc. Thanks for the chance to win and congrats again on 10 years. That is quite an accomplishment!
Terri says
I don’t use a planner but love her ideas.
I will be creating a card for one of my friends and have so many ideas for the envelope.
Sarah T says
I’ve never caught the planner bug, despite really needing too. I think I still associate it with the huge filofax I used to haul around with me when I was working a job where every second was scheduled. Now I just have a cute Winnie the pooh wall calendar and don’t miss too many events!
Tracy L. says
I would love to get into envelope art. I would like a calligraphy stamp set because I’m horrible at calligraphy, but I love the look.
S. Molinari says
I have no problem decorating in planners. I just don’t do well with the actual planning bit. But I think it’s a great idea. 😉
Mary M. says
The stamps are very cute
Sue McRae says
I don’t use a planner but like to read the tips and techniques to incorporate into other parts of my crafty life and I find a lot of the stamps are perfect for card making like the Day by Day blocks.
Leigh Penner says
What a great challenge!
As for planners, I haven’t jumped on that bandwagon yet… I have a planner for work and one for DT assignments, but I don’t take the time to pretty them up. I’d rather spend my crafty time making cards.

I love to decorate envelopes (and the inside of cards also). It just makes them special. I usually do a smaller or simpler version of the images I used on the front of the card. For example, if I used a large floral bouquet on the front, I’ll stamp a few flowers on the inside and on the envelope. If the main stamp is all one large image (so I don’t have any single flowers to stamp), I’ll do a few leaves or something like that. Or the outside might be colored in, and the envelope and inside might just have a pale outline.
Marlee S. says
I don’t have a planner. However,I have enjoyed seeing what can be done with a planner. I would love to see ideas for envelopes!!
Monika/buzsy says
I use a simple planner. Mine is pretty small so I can’t fit a lot of images or writing on it… I’d love to see more tiny dies, instead of stamped images…
Kim Badelt says
I couldn’t survive without planning but tend to use the kitchen calendar as the brain of the house rather than a planner oh and post it note lists. I couldn’t survive without them!
Debs says
This is my second year with the Moments Inked Basic Planner. I have the spiral version and it has definitely improved my organization…at least I write down daily lists. I would like tips on how to add quick and inspirational stamping/decorations to my pages.
Betty N says
Thanks for a fun post! The extent of my planning is jotting down appointments on my calendar.
Lisa K says
I don’t use a planner but I love to see all of the creative ways to use a planner. Some of the “planner” supplies can definitely be used in many other ways. I always enjoy the creativity of the design team. They are so amazing!
Cheryl B. says
We are at a time in our lives where using a planner is not necessary. We are retired. But back in the day I used a planner plenty! These new products are great and I know Lexi will have lots of ideas to share.
Kathy J in Ellicott City says
I love the new planners, but like others, I don’t have time to create a lovely one. But I do love the idea, maybe one day.
lainey says
I don’t use a fancy planner, I use a flat calendar from Target. But I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store for us and maybe I’ll convert!
Lauren Yo. says
I love my paper planner! I was inspired to use it as a daily journal as well, but for some reason I can’t quite get that area of my planner organized. I also would love a “month end review page” with areas to jot down highlights from the month, such as: books reads, shows you got into, service events, best moment of fun, favorite new recipe, quotes,…
Kris says
I’ve been using my Franklin Day Planner for over 20 years so have not joined the “newfound” planner bandwagon. I enjoy seeing what the team has created. It seemed I barely had time to get the family activities in my planner much less transform it into such beautiful handcrafted design…I’m in awe of all this work!
Becca Yahrling says
I have a planner, but no inserts yet! lol And it’s just me & hubby so not a lot of planning going on. But I think I want to use it for my card making somehow.
At any rate, I appreciate all the tips!!

I don’t use a planner but it probably would help keep me more organized!!

I do use the PTI planner but since I am retired I don’t have so much to put in it, it is rather basic. I really prefer the cardmaking to decorating my planner, but you make it looks so fun! Look forward to seeing more.
Jen Carter says
My phone has become my planner but I do like to incorporate supplies used in planners in my other papercrafting projects!

lisa808 says
I’ve never used a planner, though it probably would help me if I did 🙂
Teddra says
I’ve used a daily planner since college and tried to use the PTI planner when it was introduced, but it just didn’t work for my needs at this time of life. I use a planner as more of a journal for things I want to remember about each day rather than what’s ahead in the next week or month. I’d like to see a stamp set of small, thoughtful phrases or quotes about the seasons/holidays for each month. I mail out 5-10 cards every month for birthdays, anniversaries, get well, thinking of you, etc. and have never dressed up the envelope. I’m excited to try this out!!
Angela Person says
I am not a planner person but LOVE all the planner stamp sets.

LaFaunB says
I use the Moments Inked planner. Excited about the new products and blog.
Heather says
I don’t currently use any planner. I love the idea of the Moments Inked planner; but I’m afraid to get started because there are a lot of options. Sadly, too many options can be paralyzing for me. Then I’m also worried that I’ll get the supplies and stop using them after a few months, like I’ve done with every other planner I’ve ever tried. But this one is so beautiful and so personalizable that I’d really like to give it a try.
Anika F says
I use a bullet journal instead of a planner. I used to use the PTI planner but it was a little too bulky. I do love the color schemes and the stamping that goes into it, mine is quite plain.
pmm says
The new stamps are really fun!
Colleen F says
I am lucky to get my appointments and events on my phone, I wish I had the time to make them cute like you showed…will just stick to card making and see where theses stamps might take me. Thank you go the inspiration!!

I’m looking forward to Lexi’s monthly focus on planners. I own almost all of the Moments Inked sets but have yet to work out a routine to using them. I love the Moments Inked planner but have another planner that I use for work, so if I can set aside the time to start using my Moments Inked products, it will be with my work planner.
BarbaraB says
I don’t do planners either. But the products are super cute. Perhaps Lexi can show us non-planner ideas using the products.

Lexi thank you for your great ideas and sharing them with all of us. I have many planners and u fortunately I seem to collect them instead of using the darn things. I just need a few motivating ideas and maybe I will be and active planner user.

I am not a planner girl but more of a TO DO list girl. I love the feeling of crossing things off my never ending list of projects.
Kristinkat2 says
I am not a planner person. I use my online calendars for work and family life. While I love the pretty planners I see online, the time it takes seems huge to me. Honestly, when I have time to craft, it goes towards cardmaking. Still, love the inspiration … thank you!
Helen F. says
I do not use a planner now that I am retired, but when I worked I could not live without my Daily Planner. I received a”Create 365 Monthly Planner” as a gift and plan to start using it. There are stickers and decorative embellishments in the box, but I certainly can add stamping to the pages 🙂 I will be watching for Lexie’s ideas.
I always decorate or make the envelopes for my cards, usually by stamping one of the images that appear on the card inside.
Jona says
This is one of the best planners I have seen. I don’t use a planner – I don’t even have time to write things down in a planner let alone make one, but if I did this would be a great one to have!
