Splits: With Love is the eleventh in a monthly series of stamp sets featuring a “splits” focal image, each with their own handcrafted look and theme. Each month will include a different sentiment that is interchangeable between any of the “splits” frame images. The sentiments will be sized just right to snuggle into the space provided within each frame stamp. A coordinating die will also be available to make cutting, stamping, and mounting them a breeze. We are pleased to bring you a new addition to the purple family this month! Lilac Grace is a whisper soft purple, a perfect complement to Winter Wisteria when doing any two-step stamping. Also an amazing choice for baby and wedding cards!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
While Maile's new swans can have lots of applications, I think I love the little baby swan included best. It is such a unique and fresh way to make baby cards!
Rather than stamp the swans, I opted to die-cut them. I stamped the small black accent on each and then added a little orange to the beaks using a marker. The water and lily pads were stamped on the Soft Stone card base fist, then I layered the swans on top of that with foam tape.
It's a little hard to tell in this picture, but I applied flock to just the baby swan to help him stand out a bit more from the adult swans.
The sentiment, also from the Swan'sational set, is heat embossed in white giving the card a nice finished clean look.
Now for a little something with Fresh Bouquet! I wanted to use the new Lilac Grace ink pad so I came up with a color combo that was perfect for that to use as a jumping point.
The sentiment was stamped directly onto the card base using Stormy Sea ink. I just LOVE this sentiment, and know it will be well used in my collection.
The floral arrangement was die-cut first, then I added all the solid elements. I love how I can layer color and make it look almost hand-painted, yet it is all easy with stamps!
I used a stylus to score a frame around the edge of the cover to give things a bit more definition. Super easy to put together, and could easily be done in several different color schemes!
My next project uses the outline image from Fresh Bouquet. It's fun to experiment with all the different looks you can get from this set depending on how you pair the images together.
The floral image is stamped in black and then watercolored. I purposely went outside the lines with my color to give it a more artsy feel.
This sentiment is another one of my favorites. I added it in between the florals I stamped at the top and bottom of the card. Some black & white baker's twine was tied around the center and finished with a bow.
Smokey Shadow cardstock was used for the card base.
Now for a little something using the new Splits set. I opted to just use the bottom half of the frame and stamped the halves end to end to make a border of sorts. This was heat embossed in white.
I then watercolored over the top of the embossing, allowed it to dry and added black dots with a pen. The leaves were stamped in Simply Chartreuse and accented with a Copic marker.
I used the "I love you" sentiment from Keep It Simple: Love.
The card front was then mounted onto a Lilac Grace card base.
My next project is pretty bold and bright, but showcases just how you can get playful with this new floral set. This time I layered the outline image with the solid stamps included in the set.
You can see here how the pieces layer together so perfectly, and you have the images "colored" in with just a few quick impressions.
The sentiment was added to a strip of Summer Sunrise cardstock.
Since the images are colored in with solid stamps, it was easy to fill a whole background. Just think of all the fun color combos you could use!
For my last project today I used the new Inspired: Love sentiment set with some of the hearts that cut out with the Cover Plate: Hearts die. I just adore the long tail in the "love" and how it can be incorporated into all kinds of different designs.
I colored the hearts with Copic markers, then went back in with a Colorless Blending marker and added faint patterns to them.
The "love" was die-cut from white cardstock and the sentiment underneath stamped in black.
Super simple, and definitely something that can brighten someones day during difficult times!

I love the new purple it’s such a soft color. The Splits line is one of my favorites. I don’t think you can ever have too many flower stamps so Fresh Bouquet will be in my stamp collection.
