Despite being pretty crafty, I have never enjoyed sewing until I tried Erin’s stitching dies. Last year I couldn’t resist the mitten, stocking, and star dies so I bought the set thinking that if I didn’t like sewing after those I never would. Well, I fell in love with creating with her dies and own several others. This new addition to the line is a must have for me. I want them all.

Erin’s woven heart ornament is near and dear to me. My grandfather always made us one from shiny foil paper and hid them on the tree at their house. Grandma put a cookie in each one.

I am such a sucker for Christmas ornaments! I used to collect something to hang on the tree every time I went on vacation, and every time I went to the beach (there were TWO Christmas shops!!!). I haven’t put up a tree in ten years – mainly because my collection of handmade and sentimental ornaments went up in smoke in a house fire! I was truly devastated! Thank goodness my Mom still does the same thing and she still has a FEW of the ornaments I made her over the years. But on to brighter thoughts – love the ornament dies – both for hanging 3D and cards! Just lovely!

The ornaments are so beautiful! I have always loved hanging ornaments on the tree. I have especially loved it with my own family and this just makes me excited to do it agian this Christmas.

Beautiful creations today- the cards and the felt ornaments are so nice. Thinking I might have to get the woven hearts- like the idea of stitching or not stitching.
The stitched ornaments placed on the wreath makes such a festive holiday decoration. This would be a fun project for Girl Scouts or Camp Fire Girls.
