The "Papertrey Star Search" video contest provides a way for you to not only share your talents, but also your enthusiasm for our products. We want to see your paper crafting style and learn more about what makes you unique as a crafter. Read on for a few of the details!
The Basics:
-Create a three minute video that showcases you creating a winter project. This could include a winter holiday theme (like Christmas or Hanukkah for example), something that celebrates snow, a winter birthday card, or anything else that you dream up. As long as it can be categorized as a winter themed project.
-At least 50% of the video footage should include your smiling face in some way! We want to see your energy and get a glimpse at your personality! There can be some closeup shots of your hands at work, but we want the main focus to be on YOU! Show your enthusiasm and your excitement for Papertrey!
-Be sure that your project uses exclusively Papertrey Ink products. We want to see how you use our products in amazing ways!
-Put your technological skills to work and do some quality video editing. I think it would be fun to see you and the PTI DT crew do videos in this format!
Some of the gals I haven’t see in years! 😀 😀 😀
What an awesome prize up for grabs too, Good luck to everyone!
What a fun contest! I’m assuming it’s open to all customers? I’m definitely brainstorming already. The few videos I’ve done aren’t in this format, but I’m looking forward to the challenge!!
Wow–bet you’ll get a lot of entries! I love PTI, but my technology skills are pretty much non-existent–haha! Hope you keep including some customer cards in the newsletters. I’m always trying to improve enough to be chosen. Good luck to the entrants!
I’m with Greta H, it’s a little intimidating and it’s an expensive endeavor if this is just a hobby. I know you can do this with your phone, but then you have to get a tripod, lights, etc. I’ll bet for most of us, it’s out of our league. All that being said, good luck to the entrants, I can’t wait to see your creations.
I hope to see so many fun videos because I always see so much creativity out in the Papertrey community. Great idea and good luck to everyone who enters.
Wondering if Felt Stitching Projects count!!?? LOVE working with the Stitching Dies you have and would like to showcase them on a Project!!?? THANKS for the FUN!! Have a Fabulous Week!! 😉
Sounds like a fantastic opportunity – I wish everyone participating the best of luck! I look forward to seeing the results. Showing my face on a video is a bit off-putting for me alas – LOL. I even hate to be in photographs and I am well-known for dodging it whenever possible ;-P
Hello! One question from international participants 😉 is it required the presence of the voice on the video or it can be the video with the music and subtitles?
Nicole, I unfortunately don’t have PTI inks. Would I be able to use Staz-On ink with my PTI stamps or will that disqualify me since its not a PTI product? I just don’t want my efforts to be for naught!
