Yes, I’ve loved water coloring since my college days, which was a long time ago! I hadn’t painted in quite some time until the trend started up in papercrafting and cardmaking. I LOVE it! It’s even more fun to watercolor with all the new tools and mediums available today!

I love the look of watercolours and often include it on my cards, either by smooshing or using mi Zig markers.
I love the idea of watercoloring but have only tried it a few times. My biggest fear is not doing “messy” right. I try to hard to make my regular projects just right, that letting go of staying inside the lines is intimidating!
I do enjoy watercoloring, and I am trying to include it more in my projects. I think I use it maybe 5% of the time now (and lots of watercolor paper in the scrap pile – I need more practice!).
I love watercoloring on cards!!….usually on 140# watercolor paper and using traditional tube watercolors. I do at least one card a week with watercolors…find it fast and easy.
Watercoloring is fun. It’s not my go-to method, but when it’s right I pull the stuff out. I use it from time to time. I just never have enough time for all I want to do.
Yes I love watercoloring.I think my favorite technique would have to be embossing, then watercoloring over the top of it and then wiping the embossing off.Most of my ideas come from the wonderful examples of the papertreyink team!

I’m so into watercoloring at the moment and I keep experimenting and trying more and more techniques.
I like using water color pencils to add a little color to some stamp images. I have never been successful using watercolor was a background- it looks too messy and I haven’t found the right paper that I like that won’t warp.

I love the watercolor look but have not done much with it on cards. The reason I have not done with it much on cards because I could never get it to work even with using watercolor paper. A tutorial would be helpful.
I started watercoloring last month and am absolutely loving it. I find that I get “lost” in it and it is very relaxing and fun.
I love watercoloring! I have taken several watercolor classes taught by Junelle Jacobsen. The way I incorporate watercoloring into cardmaking is to sketch and paint a card front; photo it and enhance in Photoshop, then make prints to adhere to card bases. It certainly speeds up cardmaking, and allows me to create in bulk; I usually package up a set of notecards to give as a gift.
I love all the techniques you can do with water colors. I use them with at least 1/3 of my cards. I was hesitant at first. But after trying realize it is easy and fun
I enjoy watercoloring very much and I use it pretty frequently on cards. It’s just so easy and forgiving compared with Copics.
Love to water color I try to use it as much as I can. I enjoy how relaxing it can be. And when I do ibam always excited to try to learn more.

I love watercolouring on my cards. I especially love heat embossing outline flowers and then watercolouring them in. The results are always different and usually very pretty in unexpected ways!
I love watercolour techniques and use it about 20% of the time in my cards. I only limit it as watercolour paper is quite pricey. I’d love to use it more.

Yes I have tried watercoloring on cards! I like to paint images (and try to stay “in” the lines!), as well as try fun splatter or “smoosh” techniques that we have been shown. It’s so much fun to see how the finished project turns out!

Yes, I love water coloring….or maybe better said, I love when others watercolor. I’ve used it on a few cards, but I’m not very confident in my abilities. It rarely seems to turn out quite right, so those unfinished cards often end up in the waste basket. It is something I would love to work on, though. Ironically, I come from a family of three generations of women who watercolor!
I do enjoy watercoloring but I don’t do it often as I forget about the technique until I see someone else’s work that inspires me. I have downloaded the technique cards on Papertrey for future inspiration.
Oh, my, YES to loving watercoloring! I jumped on the bandwagon and got the Gamsai watercolor set, and with Danielle’s recommendation, just picked up some watercolor pencils to try. As a fun homeschooling art class, my daughters and I also signed up for an online watercolor class. I love this release. The entire butterfly line, and of course the Home & Garden Petite Places just makes my heart happy.

Haven’t really watercolored yet, got my first paints for Christmas! Haven’t tried on cards, since I haven’t tried yet! I need to have a nice block of time to play and learn some techniques!
I’ve tried it but don’t seem to be very good at it so I don’t use it on my cards very much at all.
I LOVE water coloring but enjoy watercolor pencils more.
I just received Zig markers for Christmas, & I’ve just started using them. I really like the easy blending, & the detailed brush for tiny spaces. I’m kind of a perfectionist, so it can be a challenge. I’m learning, & I love it!
love love love watercoloring and can’t wait to get your bold blossoms papers to color!! my copics have gone by the wayside since i started using zig clean brush and kuretake watercolors.

I tend to be overly meticulous when making cards, so they take me forever. I love watercoloring because it’s exactly the opposite – I HAVE to let go and be messy. I’m always in pursuit of the perfect colorwash background.

I love to watercolor. I use watercolor techniques occasionally when making cards, and very often on scrapbook pages. So much fun, and so many different results can be achieved!

I absolutely LOVE the water-coloring technique! The design teams projects that have water-coloring are always so gorgeous!! I have only used it twice on my cards and I was not happy with the results. I know that I need to do it more so that I can be better at it….

Yes, I have tried watercolor on my cards, and love the look. But I think it is the perfectionist in me that keeps me from using it more often. One of my New Year’s resolutions was to push myself outside of my box with new techniques and crafts.

I love the look of watercolors and use the technique occasionally. It’s a hard medium for me because I tend to be a perfectionist and keep reworking until I like it, watercolors don’t work that way, but they are teaching me to just run with it and make it work.
I enjoy the look but mostly confine my attempts with smooshing backgrounds or a paper piece to die cut.

I enjoy the look of watercolored cards but have yet to try the technique myself. I guess I was just hoping to get some zig clean color brush markers before I tried this technique. That’s really no excuse though because I have watercolor pencils and distress inks which are both suitable for watercoloring. I guess I just need a push!

I enjoy watercoloring but don’t use it as often as probably should. The way my craft room is set up, it’s more of a “process” to get everything out in order to do it so I tend to watercolor in batches. I’m sometimes frustrated by the results as well (if they don’t end up looking like samples I see). I know more practice is probably key to better results. I do love the samples I see others create.

I love to watercolor my images using Distress Markers! I find it easier than coloring with copics, so I watercolor often!

I only started watercolor ing when I started stamping, which was this past fall. I LOVE it! It has led me to playing with inks and Brusho on Yupo paper too. I might even like those better than water colors. If u haven’t played with those u totally have too!!! But all of these effects make terrific backgrounds for my cards

I took watercolor classes in college but I haven’t tried it on cards yet. I have a good excuse because I haven’t found the box that they are packed in since our move. I want to find them to try some of these techniques on the blogs now.
I have attempted watercolor once, but the brush from my kids crayola watercolors was… less than fabulous! I need to pick up a small pad of watercolor paper, my own brush, and the determination to play with the whole pad until it feels comfortable!
I like playing with distress inks for backgrounds.
I do that on about 40% of my cards. I don’t really watercolor because I’m not good at coloring in general and the imprecise nature of watercolor is at odds with my perfectionism. 😉

I enjoy seeing what others have done with watercoloring, but struggle with it myself. I think it’s probably an issue of trying to control it and stay inside the lines, when that isn’t the purpose of watercolor 🙂 I haven’t given up, though. I still practice and hope to get better with it.

I don’t use this technique very often though, mostly for backgrounds.
I love the look of watercolors! One of my favorite techniques is its use with embossing powders. Because I do little embossing (relatively more laborious set up for it), maybe I need to emboss several designs at a time, and watercolor them as I need them. My favorite combo – white embossing powder + white card stock + brushed on Papertrey refill colors applied with a water brush.

Water coloring is very relaxing and fun because it isn’t precise…and always looks beautiful. Love using it on cards.
I do like watercoloring. I probably only do it in about 10-15% of my cards because I often forget about it and it takes more work. But I always love the results when I do watercolor especially when I heat emboss and image and water color over it.
Enjoy might be a bit strong but I do like to try it occasionally. I am just learning this technique – my OCD struggles with freeform but I LOVE the look when I’m done. My favorite technique is embossing outline stamps and coloring them in. Lately I tried just making watercolor background paper and using it for die cuts such as butterflies – really nice effect!

Currently about a third of my cards are made with watercoloring.
I love watercoloring. I have use iron my cards about 50% of the time. Some of them have watercolor backgrounds, and some I use watercolors to paint the colors in. I love the shades and depth you can create. I have been experimenting with painting the water colors on my stamp, and then stamping onto paper.
I LOVE ‘smooshing’ and find I am using in more and more as a background (both bold and soft). I love the look of watercolor and tried the MIM of stamping in a light color ink and then watercoloring over it to make it appear as though I had actually painted the image freehand. Alas, I have learned, I am not that artistic! Sigh!

I love the look of watercolors but I have not tried it, yet. I always envision that my card will look a mess when I try it, mostly because I like control when I color and you have little control with watercolors. One of these days I do plan to try it, though.

I know I need more practice but I don’t use the watercolor technique very much because it never turns out quite as nice as I had hoped.
I have watercolored several times and have loved the effect every time I’ve used it – especially once I got the watercolor markers. I need to do it more often!

I love the look of water coloring, but have never tried it as I do not have a good set of water colors. I do have just a crayola cheap brand that I might have to try, but I would love to get a better set.
If I wasn’t so intimidated by it I would try it more often! I always end up with a muddy mess. Then I get discouraged and put it all away.
I do enjoy watercolors- have actually painted pictures using it, although it’s been a while. I have used it once or twice in cardmaking but need to perfect my technique. I think watercolors would look great with this month’s butterfly stamps and dies.
I really enjoy watercoloring but I don’t really find myself doing it very often. I tend to be a lazy stamper and will paperpiece to add more colors and patterns before watercoloring. I love the butterflies being released this month!
I watercolor occasionally on my cards. I’d probably do it more often if I felt more confident in my skill as I’m always drawn to the many beautiful cards implementing it.
I love what I see from others who are experts at watercoloring but I am sad to say I don’t do it. I think it is because I am not sure how to begin. Maybe make it Monday could do a series of beginner’s tutorials!! I would love that!!! There are some beautiful products this release. I think I am going to start with the printed watercolor papers!!!!
I prefer pencils at the moment but i do watercolor now and then. I like the way the watercolor “runs” over your paper and than add a beautiful silhouette stamp in black.

I love the look of watercolor but somehow have never done it with cards. I am really not sure why! Maybe this question will inspire me to try it.
I love the look of watercoloring and have done it in a couple of workshops but it scares me at home – I don’t feel I’m good enough of an artist to use it. It looks like a lot of the other comments today are saying practice, practice, and play with it so that’s what I’m going to do! Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

Long ago I purchased a number of Twinkling H2O pots.but never really used them that much. but I just bought a set of Zig Watercolor Markers and love them. Makes me want to get out the little pots again and mix and match.
I have done a little water coloring on my cards, and I really enjoy it. I think the reason I don’t do it more often is just that it takes a little more time than just traditional stamping. But it can definitely add a great look.
I absolutely love the way some of your water colour cards look and so have started “messing around”, my results are random though…sometimes lovely, sometimes not so great. Thank you for all your inspiring cards

I do enjoy water coloring on my cards. Sometimes it turns out better than others. There are lots of interesting water color techniques out there.
I DO Love the look of water coloring… and tend to use blender pens more than actual water. I don’t like my card wet and sometimes the water just wrecks it… IF I get it too wet. So I like the ‘watercolor’ type stamps…. that make the outline appear to be painted. hugs.
I love coloring, but haven’t done water coloring. I’ve always thought it was messy and caused the paper to wrinkle. It looks pretty, though.

I love the water color look but I only have a small water color palette and it seems to rarely match the colors I wasn to use so sadly I rarely use it.

I’ve used watercoloring on a few cards, and I’m still working on my technique. Looking forward to using the Butterfly Die on some paper I’ve got in my “ready to use” stash.
I love watercolouring but don’t use it on my cards very often. I’m very self critical and a perfectionist so I think I need to practice more to build my confidence up. The wonderful examples from the design team are very inspiring though, so perhaps I should just go for it!
Oh I just LOVE watercoloring. I use it almost every week on my cards 🙂 I do want to learn how to do some free watercoloring of flowers and ferns. 🙂 I have lots of mediums, too!
I do love water coloring. I use it on cards and love to white emboss words or phrases over the water colored section.
Watercolor is where I started my crafting hobby… So it’s a case of returning to it but on a smaller surface! I do use watercolors quite often to colour images and even backgrounds using a large variety of watercolour mediums (tube, pencils, liquid, crayons…)
Yes! I enjoy using pencils, Peerless and of course my Zigs. I am doing it on about half of my cards these days (although I will always love my Copics, too… I like to color generally).

I have been on a watercolor mission the past year or two – many cards have some on it whether it is the background or an image. I tried drawing my own to color, but I better stick to coloring stamped images – it was a disaster!

I love the look of watercoloring techniques and hope to incorporate more of them into my projects. I especially enjoy techniques that do not require me to use watercolor paper which can get quite pricey depending on what brand you choose. It can also become overwhelming with all of the watercolor mediums that are available today. Watercoloring is a very soothing way to break up my study schedule.

Yes! Enjoy using watercolors on my cards. The techniques present a look that transforms a stamp to dynamic! Love that you only have a certain amount of control. The rest is magical!
I have been decorative painting for over 25 years, which watercolor painting has been a part. Now I integrate my techniques into card making . I share this with my group I call “Paper Dolls” every couple weeks or so.
I have not tried watercoloring yet. I guess it is because I think it will take bit of practice for my results to look good. Although when the design team does it, it always looks easy and the results are great!
I love the watercolour look and have tried it on my cards using ink refills as I don’t have any watercolours yet…they are on my ever growing wish list.

Watercolouring is fun. I prefer Copic marker coloring because I can shade the colors. I get very excited when PTI puts out a stamp set that I can both watercolour and Copic.
Yes, I LOVE watercoloring, I didn’t really get into the whole Copic craze but I am all in when it comes to watercolor. I love that I DON’T have to be perfect and I love the soft look I can produce. My favorite technique is emboss resist with watercolor. Thanks for an amazing release!

I LOVE Water Color in any medium I can do it with! It’s easy, fun, forgiving and beautiful! Hard to guess how often because I love papercrafting and all it encompasses from die cutting to stamping to interesting techniques. I do it fairly often. Thanks, PTI! I love watercolor! I have made it a resolution in 2016 to practice brush lettering daily to master the skill. I have used watercolor in about 10% of my cards but would love to use it more once I am better at using them.
I love to watercolor backgrounds on my cards. I seem to go through phases of doing it and not doing it, but it’s always great to come back to!
Watercolor is one of my favorite ways to use as a background for cards. I use it when appropriate on cards, and I’m now trying my hand at flowers, though I have to cut and paste these flowers to the cards, because I’m way too messy to do it directly.
I have always LOVED watercoloring. There’s something so ethereal about it. I do it often on my cards, just about every time.
I’m getting more comfortable experimenting with watercolor with my zig markers and the smooshing technique. I have to stop being afraid of making a mistake — there is no such thing as a mistake in art!
I love watercolor techniques! I still consider myself a beginner and I am still trying to decide exactly what media I like (pencils, Zig, Peerless or may try some others . . .). I would probably use it more but I find I am make most cards at the last minute and don’t have the luxury of time to wait for the card to dry. But my two goals for cardmaking this year is to plan ahead and to do more watercoloring!
I am new to card making and have not included water coloring yet. I love the look and have gathered much inspiration from your team. I really love the new butterfly dies and expect to start water coloring when I receive them.

I absolutely love this release! And to answer the question, I do love water coloring! I have only tried it on my cards once though. I didn’t care for the type of water colors I had so I’m saving up for a good brand that I feel will be much nicer for card use.
I like the look of water coloring and I often try to incorporate it on cards especially when I want to make something quick and easy yet different. The results are always so different and so pretty!

Yes watercoloring is so fun! I have used some different mediums – distress inks as well as actual watercolors and just recently got Brushos – they are so fun and vibrant! I love the look of watercolor on cards and have created quite a few cards using this medium – especially with floral images!
I’ve only tried it a little and I have to borrow my girls’ crayolas. I would like to try it more! I noticed Kay Miller has beautiful color on what looks likes a textured paper…ill have to find out more about that!

Yes, I watercolour! I have the Kuretake watercolour set and a pack of 24 Zig markers. I’m still just a dabbler with them, but try to make something once a week with them. It’s not as fast as making a card with PP.
I love watercoloring and think I am improving…..I use it quite a bit as it makes such fun, easy backgrounds. Also works well if I heat emboss shapes first!

I LOVE the effect of watercoloring! I’ve dabbled a time or two but I haven’t gotten comfortable with it. I keep telling myself I just need to get “this” tool or remember “that” technique, but I don’t remember anything. I’ve got to set aside time to binge watch tutorials and then try them out until I develop my own style. 🙂
I love Water-coloring and I do include it on a lot of cards, but it takes me a long time to find my groove after I haven’t done it in awhile. I would love to see a great reference to water coloring techniques to reference when I do it! I love this months release!

I absolutely love watercolors! I started watercolor painting when my middle school art teacher introduced me to it, and I’ve taken several classes as a student and as an adult. I often include it in my mixed media pieces, particularly ATCs. I do need to include it in my cards more, though!
I think it’s a fun technique but I have tried it several times and just can’t seem to nail it. I do believe it’s beautiful as long as I am not the one implementing it, haha!

I love the look of watercolors, but didn’t like my results with tube colors trying to paint a picture when I took classes years ago. With all the great news ways to use inks and pan watercolors with stamped and die cut images I’m in love with what I can do! I only use watercolor on 25% of my papercrafting projects, but I love the looks I get and enjoy the process, too!

I really enjoy the watercolor ‘smooshing’ technique and have used it for backgrounds quite often. All my other coloring is still done with Copics though.

I’ve had one-on-one instruction from an artist and I have and am taking different online classes to discover more about the technique and the different types of watercolor mediums available! Everyone should try it! It’s very forgiving and you can get great results with little effort!

I love to watercolor because it makes me feel like an artist. I used Dawn’s tutorial a while ago (maybe a year?) with great success! However, I have limited time so I don’t do it quite often as I’d like to.

I like the look of watercoloring, but I don’t actually enjoy doing it very much. I don’t like the way the paper warps – I can never get it flat again. I don’t like the way watercolor has a texture that won’t allow me to get crisp lines if I stamp over top of it. I really do enjoy looking at what other people do with it, though, and wish mine looked as good, but I don’t enjoy it enough to practice.

I do watercolor pieces but not on cards yet, I’ve designed a jewelery box and the top is like a shaker card so the image inside I stamp with embossing powder and do water coloring for a sweet soft and whimsical look,then I add my sequins and place a thick acetate on top to seal it, I use a lot your Petite places dies and stamps to create the scenes so I’m beyond happy yo see the new Cottagge Petite places adition, I can create a bigger town with them… Keep them coming I’m a HUGE fan…
I do enjoy water coloring but I don’t do it often enough. Sometimes I’m in too much of a hurry to take out the supplies and do all the prep for water coloring. I need to give myself a day to take the supplies out and then just play all day…and into the night!
I’m pretty sure I would enjoy it, but haven’t given it a try yet. Not sure why. Looks like a lot of fun but I think a project can look real messy real fast if you don’t do it right. That is one of my things I want to do this year. So hopefully I will be giving it a try real soon.
I have only tried water coloring a few times, I would like to try it more this year after seeing the beautiful projects everyone is creating with water coloring!
I am a beginner at watercoloring, but love to use it on my cards. I got new watercolor pan paints, watercolor pencils, new paint brushes, etc. for Christmas. I plan to use much more on my cards. Right now, I probably use it on 20% of my cards.
Watercoloring is so much fun! However, I struggle getting my smooshing/blending spots “perfect.”
I love water coloring and use it all the time, haha, even before it became trendy, I used watercolor pencil for images and backgrounds. I have to stop buying supplies…there are just so many great products. Pencils, pan, zig…I love it all.
It’s one of my favorite techniques and I include it very often!
I haven’t tried it out yet. But after seeing Dawn’s Vintage Linen flowers I bought the watercolor pens from Amazon but to my shame, they are still sitting on my craft table. I do pet them often though 🙂

I actually water colored for the first time this week. I’ve used watercolor pencils often on cards but not just water colors. My card turned out really pretty.
Watercoloring is my favorite coloring medium. If I color on a card, it’ more often than not watercolored.
I love the watercolour look and have used it quite a bit on my cards – although perhaps not so much recently!
I love water-coloring. I find painting very relaxing. I even love painting the walls in the house. My hubby thinks I’m crazy. I don’t paint on every card, but about half! I love how easy and inexpensive it is and the results are usually fabulous!

I have always loved all things water colored. I try to do a water coloring technique on about 1/2 of my cards right now.

I just love using water coloring techniques on my projects. Each one turns out unique and I just love the look of water color.
I do enjoy watercoloring, but find that it doesn’t always suit my perfectionist personality. Sometimes I have trouble just letting go, but I would say I still use it 10% of the time. I am gradually learning new tips and trick to make the process and results more rewarding. 🙂
Watercoloring- am still attempting to improve my technique. So I mostly practice and the cards I send are seldom watercolored.
I do enjoy water coloring on my cards. I don’t do it as often as I should because I love the look. It takes extra steps and I am lazy. When I do water color I make several swatches at a time while I have everything out. 🙂
P.S. I would LOVE for a Monday technique video to include how Kay does her fabulous watercolor techniques though. I’ve been dying for that a couple years now… 😉
I love the watercoloring effects and have used it a few times. The biggest thing is the time/space/messy factor when I’m creating. So I only do it when I have a lot of time & space & organization, lol.
I do enjoying using watercolors and add it to my cards about 25% of the time.
I simply LOVE the look of watercoloring but I have never tried it!! It seems intimidating to me. I would not know where to begin and I fear I would have to purchase a lot of supplies to get started. : )I wish someone would prove me wrong!! : )

I like watercolouring. In the last month, I used it on 20 cards for a swap and just yesterday we watercoloured three cards at a card class I attended. I hope to use this technique more over the next while.
I love to watercolor because it is very forgiving. There are also a bunch of different ways you can do it from watercolor crayons, pencils, actual watercolor paints, smooshing with inks. There are just lots of options!
I love watercolor techniques and tend to use some form often. I own and use almost every coloring medium. The variety of stamps on the market make it so much fun to add a bit of color to almost every project.
I love the look of water colors. I’ve done some experimenting with my inks and a water brush. I just ordered the Peerless water colors and I’m excited to try them out. I hope to learn all the beautiful techniques there are.

Yes, I have “dipped” into watercoloring and smooshing on my cards some but need more practice. Everyone else’s seems to look better to me than my own. Guess it’s because I never really felt artistic, and this puts me a bit out of my comfort zone. Practice, practice, practice!

I do enjoy a bit of watercolouring on my cards. When the technique first became popular, I hated it because I thought everything I did was too messy looking. I’ve now embraced the “mess”, learned new techniques and mediums, and use it on a lot of my cards.
I love the look of watercolor in everything from home decor to cards! I haven’t had much time to practice so I haven’t done much on my cards but would love to watch some youtube videos on techniques here in the future.

I LOVE watercolouring! I’ve really gotten into it and have a few different brands, Gansai Kuratake and Peerless. I also use my stamp pads and distress inks. I had a period where I used it with every card, but now, I do about every third card. Love the new release!! Decisions, decisions!

I love to use watercolors but I rarely do. I’m more of a Copic girl. Also, many of my stamps are solid and even though I know there’s ways of using them with watercolors, my honest answer is – I don’t think of it.

I water colored for the first time since elementary school right before Christmas. I loved it! I was a little hesitant at first but I really enjoyed it and will be using it more on cards in the future. It’s my new favorite technique! I think I would have started sooner but knowing what to get and use was a little daunting. Real brushes vs. the water brush and so on.

I really like the smooching method of adding water color. I don’t do it a lot but I really do love the water color look and the fact that it is different every time.
I think watercoloring is pretty on others’ cards but it’s difficult for me to do it myself. The ‘messy’ results are harder for me as my brain tends to the precise methods. I keep thinking this is another trend that will fade, but it seems to be standing strong. I would love to have some Zig Markers to try it out with as it seems easy and i love the shading with only a few markers.
I use watercolors as a background and I often paint outline stamps with it.
It so versatile because I can mix the colors I need out of a few basic colors.

I love the look of watercolor. It is fun and relaxing to try out different techniques. I use watercolors, watercolor pens and watercolor pencils. I sell lots of cards and the first ones to sell are those made using watercolors.
I love the look of watercolor, but mostly I “cheat” by inking a stamp & spritzing it before stamping. However, I did buy some Zig Real Brush markers awhile ago (got them cheap on Amazon!) & finally had success with them on a card that will post tomorrow on my blog. Heather’s use of them is one of the reasons I got them & now I’m so glad I did!
I love the look of watercolor and copics. I’m trying to improve my technique but I have much to learn. The PTI design team provides much inspiration. Hopefully I will be able to include more water coloring on my projects and cards.

I do love watercoloring, I just bought my first set of artist watercolors. I haven’t used them on cards, but after seeing the DT’s cards I am going to incorporate watercolor. The reason I havent used them on cards is because I can’t control them, but my word for the year is Let Go so I’m going to try.

I love watercoloring on cards! I do it on maybe 1 every 5 cards. I enjoying using water color paints and zig markers diluted with a pen. it gives a very soft look to my cards.
I adore watercoloring! In fact I was enjoying using it in combination with stamps so much, I have recently branched out to do free hand. My DH gave me a set of wonderful watercolor brushes for Christmas. 🙂 Sitting down just now to look at the release in review, I honestly was just thinking how happy I am that PTI is embracing the trend on watercolors. Dawn’s new paper being available in watercolor paper is a great example why PTI continues to be a leader in the industry!!!

I love the look of watercoloring! Especially on flowers and leaves and behind words. I like an open flower die or butterfly over a watercolor background. I haven’t been including it lately – I think it is seems to be more of a spring and summer design for my cards! There are so many new products to try for the technique but I think I tend to stick to my basic stash.
I haven’t tried it. It seems messy and time consuming, and I don’t have the supplies I need to do it. I have enough other trends that I like more that I’m putting my time, energy, and money into.

When I see the beautiful way the color just swishes over the textured watercolor paper, “ooohhh” slips from my lips
every time! Since it is my favorite I estimate that technique is used 50% of the time.

I love watercoloring! I go through phases where everything I do is watercolored and then other phases where very little I do is watercolored.
I just recently started using watercolor techniques on my cards the past few months and love the look! It always comes out a bit different each and every time so each piece is unique!
I love the look of Watercolor. Have done some but need to get out of my comfort zone and dip into to it more! Generally use my watercolor pen with my inks since I do not have any watercolor paints.
I have only tried water coloring on samples, never seem to be satisfied with the results, although I would love to be able to get to a satisfactory level. I know, practice makes perfect (or almost), right!

I love the look of watercolor cards. I have paper and a few different types of watercolor markers/products. The biggest thing holding me back is having the time to play with it. I have some upcoming card making dates schedule with friends and I’m planning on using Heather’s technique cards to challenge myself to try new things – including watercolor!

I have not tried water coloring YET. I decided 2016 will be the year to make the leap into it.
I enjoy watercoloring but haven’t done as much as I would like. There are SO many different types of watercoloring and I just can’t wait to try some new ones out. I love how watercolor is like snowflakes…each piece is unique even if it is the same design, etc. I have a Pinterest board dedicated to watercolor cards (which includes a LOT of PTI examples). What better inspiration is there than that? 🙂

Another fantastic release! Wish I won the lottery so I could by all. 🙂 I love using water color backgrounds and these days I do it a lot! Almost on all of my cards the background is ‘smooshed’ or otherwise water colored.
Don’t shoot me PLEASE, but I actually love watercolor painting more than I love card making! That says a lot!!! I probably use it on half, if not more, of the cards that I make.

I just tried water-coloring some Christmas cards with spruce and sprigs and they turned out delightful! I’ve even been invited to participate in crafty project nights with some close neighbors who loved the cards and are as smitten with petite places as I am.

I’m quite taken with the watercolor trend. 90% of my cards have some sort of watercoloring on them.
My experience with watercoloring is limited to those kid color by number books. Given the popularity of this trend, it’s definitely on my list of techniques to try when I can find some time to play. Thanks for so much great inspiration!

I like watercolor very much, and I have several different kinds. I rarely use it to color in images, though…I don’t know why. I especially like it to make arty-looking backgrounds. I recently watched a Jill Foster video where she masked off a “snowy” ground, watercolored the sky, and then stamped silhouette images on top. I tried it immediately and loved he result.
I absolutely love watercoloring and I keep cut paper and my little travel watercolor set in my bag at all times. So! Much! Fun!
I add watercolor to about 80% of my cards. It’s such a fun, loose way to play with color.

Just purchased the Zig Watercolor markers and am seriously in love with them and the look on cards. I am now using them on 80% of my cards and so happy with the look!

I’m too much of a perfectionist to enjoy water colouring. The process and the result is just too messy for me. However, I do enjoy other people’s cards when they use watercoloring. I wish I could be more free and like my results when I do it.

I practically have a lifetime supply of expensive watercolor stock from when my DH was taking a watercolor class. I still try not to waste it, but I don’t hesitate to use it!

I love watercoloring because I think it is so forgiving. However, I have not been able to create a lot of the great backgrounds, images of your DT, so I have been shying away from it as of late. It’s a great medium and people love the cards they receive from me when I use the technique.

I have started learning to watercolor with the zig clear color brush markers–and I really enjoy it! For the longest time I resisted trying because I was afraid I couldn’t do it. Now I just need more time in the day to practice more!

So to let the card dry plus get out the extra supplies to use adds time to my already tight schedule. I seem to never have the luxury of just “playing” with my supplies…maybe some day.

I love watercolor art! I’m just getting back into card making, now that I have a little time. It has changed from back in the day. I have a few cards embossed and ready to go. I have been busy trying the new background stamp I just bought from PTI. I just found your Co. On Pintrest last September. I still have a wish list going, and will be making another purchase ASAP. PTI is my first choice in stamps. I have at least 17 people flowing my board on Pintrest (Dee Bruno), love sharing!
I have tried various mediums of watercoloring and I just love them all, but partial to Distress inks. I have used it mostly in Halloween background, but need to expand my choices in colors.
I love watercolouring, I think I do it on at least half my cards (and scrapbook layouts too!)
I love the look of watercolor and have been using watercolor markers to achieve that look! I get more control with them and less mess! I use watercolor mainly for backgrounds but would like to try them on other elements on my cards now.

I´ve yet to try watercolor on my cardmaking, I think it is difficult to avoid warping of the card. I actually iron my watercolored works from the back (lukewarm!) to straiten it again.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE watercolouring! I just can’t get enough of it, from the real rush markers, dye inks, twinkling h2Os….. I can go on & on ? I use it about every third or fourth card! Thank you for all the inspiration with the release, can’t wait to try some if the ideas, especially the butterflies, they are just gorgeous
I LOVE watercoloring, especially with the color powders! On average, I’d say it sneaks onto my cards about 60% of the time!
I do enjoy watercoloring, and usually clear-emboss an outline image before applying my ink with a brush. It gives a more ‘artsy’ look to my cards, I think, than using Copics.
I adore the look of watercoloring and am trying to get better at it. I am OK with backgrounds, but still trying to get the look I want with coloring images.
I love watercoloring. I have markers and pencils and watercolor paints and try to use them as much as possible, but I am not very good at it, even if I like doing it!

Yes, I like watercoloring, especially with heat embossing. The only thing that limits me is running out of watercolor paper.

I enjoy it. And I love the look of it. I don’t use it very often because in my head, I think it’s messy and that I don’t have time. I need to get over that and DO IT!
I actually don’t like water coloring as I haven’t gotten good results! I guess I need to keep practicing!! Hence I don’t use it on my cards!
I need to work with watercolor techniques so I get better. I usually am disappointed by my results so practicing should help. Maybe I should make a late 2016 resolution to work more with water coloring.
Just started water coloring a few months ago and I love it! I go in spurts, sometimes use it a lot and then not again for a while.
I do watercolor on my cards occasionally but not routinely. I always love the outcome, so I honestly don’t know why I don’t do it more often.

Yes, I enjoy water coloring and have done it for years. Then when it wasn’t so “in” I did it less. It is picking up again and I like the use of water coloring backgrounds for my stamps. Thanks again for all the lovely ideas you guys share.

I have water colored only a few times but love the look. It’s so great the others are willing to share their techniques and when I get past the fear of ‘messing’ up, I would like to incorporate it in more of my cards.
I’ve tried a bit of watercoloring at a class and wasn’t very good. I’ve never tried it since but do love the look on card samples I see.
Haven’t tried it yet…mostly my insecurity about failing. Thinking of trying it out on stamped images…guess I better get going. Thanks for the push! ; )
I love to use Watercolouring especially with all the fantastic layering stamps that are now available. I use Watercolours as much as I can
While I love the look of watercolor, I am not always happy with my efforts. I definitely need to practice more.
I love the look of watercolor, but don’t do it often enough. When I do, it’s very relaxing. I do more smooshing than anything because it’s failproof.
LOVE water coloring..well to use it as background on my cards and to color my images..flowers with..I love the free feeling of this medium…love the softness…

I love to use water coloring techniques in my card making. I find I use it a lot to make a simple but impactful background. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Butterfly Cover plate!

Oh my heart with those fabulous butterflies!! I can’t get enough…well its all fabulous!! I watercolour often on my cards! I love doing it cause you can never replicate! It helps with that OCD problem too 😉 Again fabulous release! I want it all!!!
I love the look I get when I use watercolor paint (with just a little water) on my stamps instead of ink stamped on watercolor paper.
I enjoy some watercoloring, especially as backgrounds for my ink drawings. I’m more likely to use Copic markers for my cards, though I’ve tried a bit of watercolor stenciling. The loose and splotchy look is lovely, and I enjoy seeing it on the design team cards, but it’s not my style for what I create.
I haven’t tried it yet, but it is on my to do list. I guess I just need more crafty time.
I cannot get enough water coloring. I started with the basic school sets and have graduated to Peerless and Zig. I just finished 20 Valentines with watercolor backgrounds using distress inks and splatter. Love love love the way the colors move and blend!

I love watercoloring and used the technique on almost all of my Christmas cards this year.
I enjoy watercolor techniques…it’s fun to do and I love the soft watercolor look! I don’t always add watercolor…I use it mostly for subtle backgrounds. 🙂

I actually don’t watercolor in cards. I’m not sure if I would like it. The reason I don’t is because I don’t have artistic skills. That is the main reason I buy stamps – because I would not be able to draw the images myself.
I love to play with watercolors, especially over clear embossing. I really want to make an art journal using your planner binder and the new page dies.

I think I have found my ‘thing’ with the water colouring trend! I love the way it is so quick to create a background with, and I love to emboss then watercolour over it.
I love watercoloring but I’m pretty new to it. I have the Koi watercolor set and also use Distress Inks & Faber Castell/Inktense watercolor pencils pretty regularly, probably 70% of the time. I just love the “artsy” look! I would love to use the true watercolors more but I get somewhat intimidated by the lack of control of the color.
I love the “look” of watercolor. I probably use it on a 1/3 of my cards but find I am impatient in allowing the cards to dry. Therefore, when I want a quick card, I usually do not think to try water coloring. Need to practice more!
I love all the watercolor cards and seem to mostly watercolor myself these days. I wish I could get more of my friends to accept the idea that it is easy!

I’m not loving the water coloring. I have just about every set sold on the market and just can’t get the hang of it. I think I should stick with Copics or Zigs.
All my cards and tags are stamped with stazon and I use my ink pads plus water and my trusty ol’ paint brush….technique of choice!!!
