    What I look forward to the most about fall is all the gorgeous colors, growing up in an arid state I never did get to see the trees change…and when I moved to a state with “seasons” the gorgeous fall colors leave me in “awe”. This month’s PTI stamps remind me of all the beautiful colors of fall.

First, I’m a first grade teacher, so we start a new school year, leaves changing color, going on a leaf walk, making leaf rubbings, getting my 3-year-old twins excited about Halloween, dressing them up :), my birthday, and Thanksgiving, all rolled up in one season! Wow that’s a hard question because there is so much that I love about fall. The main thing that I love is the fact that we do more as a family during the fall. We usually take several trips to the cider mill, we pick apples, go on hay rides, corn mazes, pumpkin patches and really enjoy the season together as a family.

    Being from Wisconsin, my most favorite season is Fall. I love the smell of the leaves, the cool, crisp mornings and fresh, fresh air. Going to the apple orchards, eating warm pumpkin donuts and walking in the woods with the crunch of leaves underfoot. Watching squirrels from my cabin window as they gather their winter stockpile of acorns. All while I create beautiful cards with my papertrey stamps!

    Where I live in Canada, we are blessed with some of the most breathtaking views of the leaves turning in the fall. I love to walk in the cooler weather, admire the natural beauty and then return home to enjoy cooking (love apples and pumpkin) or reading by a fire in the fireplace!

    Without a doubt, I love the cool weather! Living in the deep South, I look forward all summer to the first day when you walk outside and the air feels so cool and crisp! That bite in the air makes me long for my sweaters and a Pumpkin Spice Latte!

I’m always looking for one more, different pumpkin – the uglier the better. And I can’t forget about making apple dumplings for our church bazaar. It’s great fun and fellowship, not to mention the smell and yummy samples we get for lunch when finished.

    Definately the changing of the colours of the leaves. Starting with a twinge of yellow here and there, some orange, a bit of red, and then the patches of colour spreading until the entire tree is all bright. Picking a few favourite trees, and walking by daily; it’s so neat to see such transformation before ones eyes over the course of several weeks!

    What I love most about fall is watching the landscape transform. Here in the Northwest we have such beautiful trees and foliage and everything changes color in the fall. The crispness in the air is so refreshing. {and by the end of September I’m kind of tired of watering potted flowers every day so look forward to giving up that chore for a few months}

    Fall is my favorite part of the year so it’s hard to say just one thing. It’s the chill in the air. The smell of the leaves as they change. Of course the colors are amazing God was in a good mood when he painted the trees of fall. I am also a Oct baby so it’s the parties, coming together with friends and family. The ability to act like a kid one day of the year, to pretend to be someone or something else. Oh and lets not forget the food pumpkin pie and hot apple cider are smells you never forget. Fall to me is more a feeling I guess. The sensory overload is just the icing on the cake. MMmmmmmm love the fall.

I’m known to spend 364 days of the year planning costumes, and my friends call me The First Lady of Halloween. And I was married in the Japanese Friendship Gardens on October 1, 5 years ago. I love when the trees start changing color…seeing the leaves in bright red, orange and yellows is just stunning. I also love the crisp cool weather such a nice change after a hot summer.

    I think it’s the changing colours of the leaves – it’s really beautiful. I love taking lots of pictures outside during this period.

    Love the cooler temperatures and the changing colors. And I have a thing about pumpkins…just love them…not to eat but to decorate with & to use on making cards.

    I live on the coast just south of San Francisco and look forward to Indian Summer in the Fall — the warm days and the crisp cold when the sun sets. I would love to experience the fall leaves that you all see back east.

    I just loe the changing colors in nature and cooler temperatures. We spend a lot of time outdoors and take many day trips. This year we’ll be taking an extended trip to northern Vermont and Maine in early October. I feel happy and contented already!
