Today's first peek is of a little number from Beth Silaika. This fun doodle-style set is a new style for Papertrey, but I personally have fallen head over heels in love with it and can hardly wait to show you what I have created with it!
This shows you just a small piece of a new background set I designed. It is a fantastic basic that you will turn to again and again, just like many of the background sets from Papertrey.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of our official countdown festivities, so I hope you will be sure to stop by and see the projects and techniques we have been developing behind the scened for you this month!

My favorite flower is the gerbera daisy. I just love the beautiful colors. My daughter was married in the fall (which happens to be my favorite season) and I used the gerbera daisies as a theme for her wedding reception. The flowers were coordinated with floating candles in fall colors. It turned out absolutely magnificent looking.

I love violets! When I was younger, my mother would always point them out and how they would bloom around my birthday, (April 15). There were just a few and they were so beautiful and fragile. She began to call me her “shy violet” Later, a friend dug up several to plant a garden and I transplanted them into our yard. The lovely violets covered the flower beds in carpets of purple. I’ll never forget how they made me feel so loved.
