I’ve just got a moment to pop on here and offer my apologies for being such a bad blogger! I am currently in Grand Caymen as we wind our way through the week long stamp+cruise with Stamping Bella & Gina K. Designs. We are having a fantastic time and I cannot wait to tell you all about it once I return!
A few things to mention…
1. The honorable mentions for Papertrey’s monthly guest star stamper contest, that you all have waited so patiently for, will be announced by the 30th, right after I retuen from my trip. There were so many great entries, be sure to stop by the gallery and check them out.
2. Even someone that has been exposed to the ocean & boats her WHOLE life can get a severe case of motion sickness during the first 24 hours on board her first cruise (ahemmmm… that would be ME!!!!)
3. Papertrey’s monthly Blog Hop will be taking place on the 25th (that’s in just a few days!). You can stop by the homepage of the main site to read about all the details!
4. When in Jamaica, be sure to negotiate a price for getting your daughter’s hair braided BEFORE they start braiding. We found out the hard way that they charge per braid and will make the braids as small as possible, in order to get more money from you. $80 later…… (do I need to say that David was mortified?!?!)
5. I left departed for the cruise on the 15th and won’t return home until the 28th. If you have emailed me or posted a question here or on the forum, I will get back to you shortly after I return.
6. I’m being an adventurous eater while on board this ship, vowing to eat whatever the chef’s selection is in the dining room each night. I have tried several new things including escargot (snails)! The food is WONDERFUL and I have loved everything I have tried!
7. In case you haven’t noticed before, there are several links in the side bar —-> for fun Halloween treats and projects. If you still have some last minute things to put together for the upcoming holiday, you should take a look!
8. I’m looking forward to jumping back into the swing of things when I return. November 1st brings us to another Senior DT challenge that you will not want to miss. November 5th will be here before you know it as well, which will bring the start of some sneak peeks of the November release!
