2- Introducing a NEW Storage System!

February 13, 2008      Nichole Heady      Leave a Comment

As stampers, we LOVE to organize all of our incredible supplies.  We love to have everything easily accessible paired with a convenient, orderly method to keep everything that way.

I’ve found the perfect solution for Papertrey’s clear stamps and I am excited to unveil yet another one of our innovations to you today!

021308_pieces_of_packagingHere is a photo of the NEW contents of our stamp sets!  The actual stamps will continue to come on an acetate sheet along with the complimentary convenient clear storage case, as it has always been.  The change is in this FABULOUS CLEAR label!

021308_trimmed_spine_labelIt has all of the images from the stamp set printed on it along with a spine label along the edge that reads the title of the set.  To store your new stamps, you want to trim the spine label from the sheet with scissors or your paper trimmer.  We’ve "boxed" the title in so that it is easy to see where to cut for a perfect fit.

021308_spine_label_adheredYou then peel away the backing and adhere it to the spine of the clear case.  It’s that easy!

021308_cover_label_adheredAll that’s left to do is peel and stick the remainder of the label to the cover of the case.  It’s best to center the label on the cover, rather than stick it all the way to one side.

021308_moving_stampsOnce the labeling is done, you can open the case.  Remove the stamps from the acetate sheet and stick them to the back of their coordinating label image.

021308_completed_setYou will now be able to tell with one glance exactly what images are included in the set!  It will also be easier to put the stamps back with their respective sets once you are done using them.

A few other notes about the new labeling system…

—>The large labels will be rolled up with the instructions in the stamp packaging.  PLEASE make sure that you do not discard the label.  We order the labels as a specialty item and do not keep many extras on hand, so we would like to try to avoid having to issue any replacements.

—>The new labels will begin appearing in the February release stamp sets.  The older sets will switch to this system as we run out of stock of the current "old" version that we have in inventory.

—>Sometime in the next few months we will offer a collection of labels for purchase for only a few dollars.  This collection will include labels for ALL the sets released prior to February 2008.  You can choose to purchase it, use what you need to switch over your older sets to the new label system and discard the remaining labels (or pass them onto a friend). As a side note, I know there are a select few of you that would use ALL the labels because you own ALL the sets! *wink*

—>Two sheet stamps sets will include TWO labels.  One label will have the spine title and images.  The images from this label should be adhered to the FRONT cover of your case.  The second label will have images all the way across.  This label should go on the BACK cover of your case, as there is a little more width on the back and it can accommodate the untrimmed label.

That is all for today!  I would LOVE to know what you think of this new system! Only a few more days to go until the BIG release party!  I have one more HUGE announcement to make tomorrow.  Or rather one more innovative Papertrey product that you won’t want to miss!  I’ll have all the details for you then!  See you soon!
