Betsy Veldman is back at it again with her Butterfly Folk and Butterfly Folk Outline sets. These stunning butterflies make a statement whether watercolored, embossed, or simply stamped, making them perfect for any skill level or technique. The intricate, superbly drawn details make these sets so unique and a joy to use. These sets also look beautiful paired together for a layered look or used independently, so there’s no way to go wrong!

We’re also showcasing Jennifer Campbell’s newest set with you today. Her contribution to the collaborative Anniversary Set, Mixed Bouquet, made quite a splash, so she decided to bring you a whole set of watercolored florals and foliage. Botanical Bounty is the result of her impressive efforts. You’ll love how easy it is to create classic, painted gardens with this incredible set! Enough chit chat, let’s take a closer look!

Now that we’ve made all of the formal introductions, let’s get onto the projects!

Betsy Veldman is featuring Butterfly Folk + Butterfly Folk Outline.

Betsy’s boldly colored butterfly really pops against her neutral background. The bright colors give her thank you card such a cheerful air and the playful angle of the butterfly gives her design such movement.

Betsy is known for her beautifully built motifs. The Butterfly Folk sets are ideal for this technique! She has included mirror images that work together to easily create medallions bursting with folk art style.

  • INK:  Berry Sorbet, Ripe Avocado, Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Dark Indigo, Fresh Snow
  • PAPER:  Stamper’s Select White, Dark Indigo

Betsy’s no-line watercolored butterfly is so ethereal and dreamy. She nimbly matched her pastels with small touches of brilliant color to keep her design interesting. The gold embossed sentiment adds a hint of elegance to her project.

Laurie Schmidlin is featuring Botanical Bounty + Bold Border: Flare.

And the fresh, vibrant colors of Laurie’s flowers make Spring feel like it’s right around the corner. The flowers pair fabulously with the bold stripes from the Bitty Big patterned paper and the metallic accents pull everything together and make her card feel so posh!
