Graduation season is right around the corner! Whether it’s medical school, college, high school, or even kindergarten, graduation is a special day to celebrate. Graduation is all about celebrating what your loved one has accomplished and their future dreams. It’s time for you to dream big and make your special someone a graduation card that they will cherish for years to come. Sorry Hallmark, your generic graduation cards aren’t going to cut it this year!
Types of Graduation Cards
Graduation Cards
Graduation is a special day. Many of us look back fondly on our own graduation days and remember all our hopes and dreams for the future. Make your friends, family, neighbor, or whoever a special homemade graduation card to help them celebrate their big day. Over the years, Papertrey Ink has produced many graduation-themed stamps and dies to help you create a special card for your loved ones.
Graduation Invites
Graduations are really just one big celebration! Instead of basic graduation invites handed out to you by your school, create beautifully handcrafted invitations for your family. I’m sure grandma will love a special graduation invitation that comes from the heart.
Not only will you need graduation invites, but you’ll need invitations to your party afterward! Invite your friends and family to celebrate the big day with custom graduation party invitations. Many of our stamps and dies will help you create the perfect personalized graduation invitations.
Money Cards
What graduate doesn’t want (need) money? Whether it’s $20 for pizza or $200 to help buy dorm supplies, every new graduate will be thankful for a little green in their graduation card. In the past, Lexi has shown us how to incorporate money into your cards in a creative way. Use dollar bills to make money origami, like a graduation scroll or shirt! Watch Lexi’s video for step-by-step directions:
Different Techniques and Stamp Sets
Papertrey Ink has offered several graduation stamps and dies over the years, and many of our other stamps and dies can also be used for graduation-themed cards and invitations. You can use our stamps and dies in a variety of ways to create custom cards that your loved ones will cherish for many years to come.
Die Cuts
One of our favorite graduation-themed sets is the Retro Style Graduation stamp set and die collection designed by Lizzie Jones. Use the dies to create retro signage with a delightful message congratulating your new graduate. The dies coordinate perfectly with other accessory images and techniques. The coordinating stamp set offers a variety of messages so you’ll find the perfect one for your card.
Our Text Block: You Did It Die makes an awesome pop-out card, and you can’t beat our Keep It Simple: Graduation Mini Stamp Set. Mix and match, and you’ll create the perfect graduation card in no time!
Inspirational Quotes
Graduation is all about inspirational quotes to inspire your graduate to dream of a brighter future. Why not inspire them with some awesome quotes? Our latest addition to our collection of graduation-themed stamps and dies is the Dream, Fly Sour! Sentiments collection by Rebecca Luminarias. The stamp set and dies are a great way to remind your graduate that “the sky is the limit.”
The A-Mazing Stamp Set is a versatile stamp set that would be perfect for graduations. With inspirational quotes like “Follow your dreams. They know the way” and “You will do amazing things,” you can’t go wrong with this stamp set and die collection. And the interactive maze game is a ton of fun!
Celebrate Creativity
Graduation day should be a day of celebration and excitement. Skip the generic Hallmark card and opt to make a creative, personalized card to mark the monumental day for your loved one.
