- Diecut notecard bases from watercolor paper using the Noted: Scalloped A1 die. Using the New Leaf re-inker and a flat, damp brush, watercolor a frame just inside the stitching line of the Noted card bases.
- Diecut the Seed Packet Frame and Seed Packet Frame 2 twice each from white cardstock and from black cardstock (need only the inside cut-out from the black). Stamp the seed packet frames using True Black ink. Stamp the details of the seed packets using New Leaf ink.
- Diecut the pre-printed herbs from the patterned papers. Adhere one herb to each of the black seed packet frame inside cut-outs. The thyme sprig is a little too large, so trim away excess.
- Stamp the herb names either on the black insert, or on the frame itself as shown. If stamping onto the black portion, use Versmark ink and heat emboss with white powder. Adhere seed packet frames and inserts to card bases.

- Stamp the herbs across a piece of Kraft cardstock. Stamp the solid bases in Fresh Snow and then stamp again over the top with a dye ink color: stamp the thyme in Olive Twist for the leaves and Simply Chartreuse for the stem, stamp the mint in Ocean Tides and Pinefeather for the detail, stamp the rosemary in Prairie Grass shaded with Olive Twist, stamp the parsley in Simply Chartreuse and Olive Twist for the stem.
- Stamp the herb words and elements from the Garden Variety set across the stamped images with Classic Kraft ink.
- Spatter the stamped piece with Fresh Snow ink.
- Stamp the sentiment in black above the stamped herbs.
- add stitching to the top and bottom of the kraft cardstock with a sewing machine.

- Create an A2 card base from white cardstock. Diecut two of the petunias from the Humming Along set from lightweight copy paper to use as a mask. Place rectangle stencil over card base and position the petunia diecuts under the stencil. Use a bit of painter’s tape to secure if desired.
- Using Aqua Mist ink, sponge ink over the stencil and flower diecuts. Remove flower diecuts, but leave stencil in place.
- With the stencil still in place, stamp the petunias. Remove stencil.
- Stamp sentiment with black ink.

- Die cut the two inner dies from Mix & Mat: Pretty Brackets out of Smokey Shadow cardstock. Adhere to white card base.
- Cut 2.5 inch strips out of each color of cardstock and score 1/8” from the top of each one.
- Stamp in black ink, one part of the Quoted saying below the score line on each piece of cardstock.
- Beginning with the first part of the quote, die cut under your stamp with a different Edger Die each time, making sure to move the die down a little bit each time so the strips get longer and longer.
- Adhere the strips together so only the top stamped quote is seen using staples.
