Some people (me) are allergic to wool so we don’t have felt. The Challenges should not include something that I wouldn’t have under any circumstance.

What a great video!!!!! Love the flowers you made with Kay’s die! I enjoyed seeing how you made the pink flower without the die! Thanks !

Now that was a fun video to watch and then to think of all the flower and leaf dies I have that could make different flowers! For Vicki in the above post, try the flowers in paper or fabric and build your dimension. May not have the flexibility but will still be beautiful.Thank you, Lizzie for that wonderful post!

LOVED this video! Lizzie you are so creative! Thank you, thank you for sharing this process with us.

Thanks for the video! I am waiting for the Mandalas II so I can get started on a wreath.
I love the magnet board and think they will make the perfect gift for 7 teachers!!

Such lovely flowers—I can hardly wait to make some! Thanks so much for showing all the how-tos in your video 🙂

One of the requirements for the challenge is a “Felt Flower”. I can make some with Ribbon, but the requirement is felt.

HOW PRETTY!!! This shows JUST HOW GREAT the PTI dies are! You can use them for more than cutting out stamped images! 😉 BEAUTIFUL WORK LIZZIE!!! 😉 I LOOOVED YOUR WREATH & THIS magnet board too! 😉

Vicki, you could always try creating with Eco-felt (the type sold at big-box craft stores). It can be harder to cut, but putting a piece of typing paper between the felt and the cutting plate can help (so your sandwich would be: cutting plate, paper, felt, die, top plate). It gives the die something to really sink into and it can often do the trick. I hope that helps you and you decide to give it a try. Good luck!

Beautiful flowers. So creative. I wouldn’t have thought to use the mandala dies this way but I may have to order some so I can give this a try. Thanks for sharing!
Keri says
Such a cute project, Lizzie! I don’t have the Mandala dies…yet…but I think I might have a few other flower dies that would work! 🙂

Thank you, Lizzie! I loved watching your video, and I can’t wait to make some of these. Thank you for taking the time to include that super cute “mum” that doesn’t require a die. I also like what you did to give the flat leaves some dimension.

So fun! Love the flowers you made!

You can buy polyester felt almost anywhere.

Lizzie, what a lovely variety of flowers you created. I can’t wait to try this technique and use up some of my felt! Thanks so much for such a great video!

Lizzie I love your idea. I have had my eye on the mandala dies since they were released and now I have a perfect reason to purchase. I can’t wait to get started. All of you crafters are so wonderful to help out Vicki…I too have a wool allergy and find that wearing surgical gloves does the trick or like Joyce mentioned, polyester felt is a great alternative and is super cheap at Walmart or joanns. Happy crafting everyone!

Great video Lizzie How fun to watch you make these flowers. I love making flowers. This was a fun challenge One thing I would have loved to see in the video is you running the felt through so we could see how the dies worked on the felt. I like to see the techy stuff. Still an awesome video Lizzie thanks for the challenge

Gorgeous flowers! I am not quite the expert that Lizzie is with her hot glue gun! I think using these to make a spring wreath would be so pretty.
Kim says
These are very beautiful, Lizzie! I love felt flowers and now want to go play.I definitely don’t have your hot glue gun skills, and I haven’t any of those dies, but I must have something I can use:) How fun!
