Wow, I actually JUST had my perfect birthday last week. My husband made me coffee (he NEVER does this – he’s not a coffee drinker and doesn’t know how I like it) and it was wonderful. The kids showered me with hugs and kisses. We went to a fancy restaurant – the kind you only visit once a year – and that was amazing. I discovered a new bottle of wine that just makes you smile from the smell of it. We had presents, cake, etc. So nice.
On my birthday I always get a firework, since my birthday is on 31.Dec. – does it need more ?!?! **smile**

I’d have high tea with all my friends at the Milestone Hotel in London. It’s hands down my favorite memory of recent years.

The day would start with me being able to sleep in and not worrying about getting the kids breakfast and such. Hubby is an excellent cook so he would make me breakfast when I arise. I would craft the majority of the afternoon with hubby making me lunch too. Then I would get an e-mail saying I had won a complete year of receiving everything released for every month. I would also be receiving a box with all the paper, cardstock, inks in cube form and reinkers currently available in the PTI store. Then the whole family would go out for supper. The kids would get along and the food would be fabulous! A trip to Michaels and a decadent dessert would end the day.

My birthday is just around the corner! My favorite way to celebrate with my husband is to visit a small town, all decked out for Christmas. Last year, we celebrated my birthday in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. It was magical! Evergreen garland and tiny white lights everywhere, horse and carriages passing, Christmas carols playing, and the friendliest people. The shops are in historic homes along the main street. It’s all about making old-fashioned, magical memories for us! ā”

A prefect birthday for me would be a trip back to the East coast during Autumn. We don’t get to experience the leaves changing color out here in Phoenix!

The perfect BD would be my whole family together. There’s not that many of us, but we’re spread out across the country so never have everyone together, it seems, until there’s a funeral. It would be so great to have a fun time together just for a weekend.
Definitely dinner with all the family, plus having time to cook something nice, ie a day off work. And birthday cards!
I would have a long table outside, under a big tree all lit up with sparkly lights and all my family would come! At each place setting would be homemade Papertrey items, like gifts in pillow boxes ,thank you cards for attending, menus, napkin rings etc.. I would have Papertrey Houses decorating the middle of the table with greenery wrapped around and of course name tags at each place setting all made with Papertrey products. Strings of fun lights would be everywhere. I can just picture it! Last be not least a tall cake with rainbow layers and a Papertrey decoration to match the decor!

A Pontoon boat rented for the day on a beautiful lake. 85 degrees and sunny. Picnic lunch prepared by someone else and my family to join us for 1/2 the day. The other 1/2 I want all to myself and my husband to just relax.
It would depend upon who the part was planned for – I would want to make sure it was filled with all of their favorite things! If I were planning the perfect party for ME it would involved everyone bringing in something that could be donated to our local pet shelter – I feel like I can never do enough for those furry little guys waiting for homes and someone to love them!
A perfect birthday would be my hubby and the kids enjoying a family dinner and playing some games after. And the icing on the cake would be one where I did not have to cook or clean up afterward.

The older you get the more you want to forget! A perfect birthday would be to hear people say good things about my life. It would be a validation that I have contributed and made the lives of others happier. Maybe that’s why I like sending cards, it gives me a chance to do that for others.

I’ve been lucky enough to be travelling on my birthday these past few years so a perfect birthday would be if the rest of my family were able to come too.
Beautiful scenic places (easy to do since I live in the Pacific Northwest), a nice meal with friends and family, laughing all day, and opening a box of PTI goodies.

My perfect birthday would be going with my son & husband to Disney World for 2 Weeks. Disney is one of our favorite places to travel & I’ve always wanted to go for more than the 8 days we usually go for.
My perfect birthday would be my sons arranging a pot luck dinner and my grandkids each handmaking a card for me.
No work, a mani/pedi in the morning, lunch out at a fun new place, a movie in the afternoon, and then dinner at a nice expensive restaurant and then maybe drinks and music!

Family and friends gathered around me for fun and laughter, and a rich chocolate cake to share with them sounds like a great birthday to me. Of course if I could have all that and some travel plans to one of my dream vacations, that would be the icing on the cake.

This is going to sound weird, my perfect birthday would be watching a Muse concert at Cannon Beach, OR! I have spent my birthday in Cannon Beach for the last few years, I love it. I shop for my own present at the Treasure Co., eat my favorite ice cream, and have a fire on the beach! The Muse concert I saw last year was one of the funnest experiences of my life! Mix those together and my head would explode!

Having every member of my family together for the first time since Hurricane Katrina (2005)! Of course it would be in a posh New Orleans hotel for a weekend, with all rooms paid for and 3 days of meals too, with a final party. Every one would get a gift to make up for the birthdays we couldn’t make. There would be a big cake by one of the best local bakeries (Haydel’s) and everyone would be comfy, rested and happy. Money would not be an object.

My perfect birthday would begin with a leisurely champagne breakfast , followed by a mid afternoon tea enjoyed with some friends. Dinner would be enjoyed somewhere with ambience and include some relatives and my children and grandchildren. After the meal is over I would be presented a gift envelope with two tickets for a Viking River Cruise and spending money. After dessert we would enjoy a symphony concert and later be chauffeured to an elegant hotel where we have a late night meal , a bottle of fine wine, sleep in the next day , and take in a massage , facial and mani-pedi. Well of course this is a wild dream. But who knows, maybe someday….

I already had one of the best birthdays a few years ago when my husband and parents arranged to have a surprise birthday for me out at a restaurant. They had worked things out that my sister’s family, my brother’s family and our kids were all there. All I had been told was that we were meeting my parents for a meal. Wow! What a wonderful surprise I had when we got there!! It was the best!

A perfect birthday, well for me its having my family together. Having a nice meal, laughing, just being together.
It would be filled with friends and family, good food and fun. My birthday was yesterday and it was a nice day until my dad ended up in the ICU. Nothing like an accident to help your realize what you really value.
My perfect birthday would be dinner with all my boys. Simple but that’s all I would want!
Since this is the PERFECT birthday…upon awakening to a beautiful mild July morning I would sit on the deck, drinking coffee and reading the many HB emails from friends. Then, wonder of wonders, my inboxed would contain an email from PTI announcing that I was the grand poobah deluxe winner of all things PTI! Joy of JOYS! And if that weren’t enough, another email would announce that I had won a whole house “makeover”, including outfitting an entirely new and improved stamping studio….AND a year’s subscription to a cleaning service! I could go back to bed because what could ever top THIS day? But then, my youngest son calls to wish me HB and to tell me he has landed the starring role in a new, blockbuster musical on broadway! Then his older brother calls,(more HB wishes) to announce his engagement. BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!

My birthday is in July and we’ve often had my party at the lake. I think if my children and their children could all be together at the lake it would be the perfect.
My perfect birthday would be taking a surprise trip planned by my husband to a place on my bucket list. All I would know is what type of clothes to pack. I would find out where we were headed when he gave me my ticket at the airport. Then relax and enjoy the ride!
