Hi Nichole,
I can’t cozy up as you guys since we have summer all year around. Nevertheless my two favorite hot beverages are a cup of expresso made with Puerto Rican coffee and a little bit of milk, you haven’t taste coffee until you taste Puerto Rican coffee! And the second one is a cup of hot cocoa with milk and cheddar cheese, it has to be the semi sweet bars from another Puerto Rican goodie called “Chocolate Cortés”, which is grated and added to the milk, so when it’s done it is thick and yummy and the cheese tastes like heaven which is where my grandmother is residing now after living 100 years among the people who loved her dearly, specially me who was her favorite granddaughter, and I missed her as if it was yesterday that she passed on and it’s been 14 years now, but she was my world and a great example to follow!
So this Christmas as always I will be drinking one of those “Chocolate Caliente” cups (hot cocoa) that she taught me to make and will be remembering her and the wonderful experiences that I lived with her!
Cariños,
María Alba

I’m going to fatten you up with this. Dreyer’s Peppermint ice cream is in stores now and it’s seasonal, so stock up like I did of 20 half gallons, seriously, and put them in my 2nd frig in the garage. Then you get Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup and squirt it over the top. It’s lethal and goes straight to your butt, but it’s so good. I wish I could attach a picture to this comment and show you how it’s done. Get the Slow Churned or else you will be on a GI adventure all night long. Give it a try. I plan on watching a good movie tonight after I fill my cart and have my ice cream!
