All of us have a stamping history, a story of how we got started in this hobby. Whether it was a friend that introduced you to ink for the first time, a home stamping party or maybe even just a bit of self-discovery, we all started somewhere and we have most likely evolved. I asked the design team to dig into their stamping histories and dig out some of their very early projects. Then they used these projects as inspiration for new cards that better communicate who they are as stampers now. Just wait until you see all they have done! There is so much that we can all learn from them and improve our own projects!

Take this opportunity to reflect back on what this hobby has done for you and all the beautiful things you have made with your two hands and your heart! Dig into your stash and find one of your early creations. Utilize many of the same elements, colors or even the design to create a new card that embraces your current style. Enjoy the process and be proud of how far you have come!
–Now it's your turn! Create a new card inspired by one of your original creations. Your new project must also incorporate at least one Papertrey product.
–Take a photo of both of your cards together, side by side. Post your photo on your blog, in your gallery or on any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).
–-Add your project to the InLinkz list below.
–You will have until 7am EST, Tuesday, August 26th, to add your link to the list to be eligible to win. And you can enter as many times as you like.
–TWO randomly selected winners will be chosen from ALL the entries within this list on Tuesday, August 26th. The winners will be posted on our Tuesday night Stamp-a-faire winners page at 9pm EST. The randomly selected winners will each get a $25 PTI gift certificate to spend however they like!

Fun seeing the remakes that the DT’s make, although I thought many of theirs were great to begin with. But we have all certainly evolved as new techniques and accessories come out.

Well that was certainly a trip down memory lane 🙂 I found an old card creation from eleven years ago. I signed and dated the backs, way before I acquired a “handmade by” stamp 🙂
