First, the exclusive stamp set that will only be available with this kit!  The Shakers + Sprinkles stamp set is a versatile collection of sentiments that cover a variety of occasions, all while carrying the theme of "sprinkles".  Featuring a great basic bookprint, this set will be so versatile especially when paired with the large script word dies also included in the kit.  The sunburst corner accent and confetti pieces will also soon become favorites!  A few measurements for your reference:

 Betsy thought of absolutely everything when designing these amazing dies!  They take all of the work out of making shaker elements, so you can just have the fun of picking out the colors and deciding what to fill them with!  Let me show you just how easy it is!

Shaker layers

Each of the three shaped die collections included are able to cut all of your layers for easy assembly.  

  • A "backer" that serves as the base for the shaker element
  • Scalloped frame to go around the backer, if desired
  • Thick adhesive foam
  • Clear cardstock for shaker front
  • Colored cardstock stitched frame topper

Step 1

You simply peel and stick the foam adhesive layer onto the backer and surrounding scalloped border.

Step 2

Add your sprinkles, whether they be die-cut or any of the test tube fillers included in the kit.

Step 3

Layer the clear cardstock layer and stitched frame right on top of that to hold the sprinkles in.  Viola, done in just a few minutes!  And everything is a perfect fit!

As I said earlier, there are a total of THREE die collections included in this kit that you can use again and again!

Rectangles-dies

The Shakers + Sprinkles: Rectangles die collection features a total of four dies.  These are extra large so they cover a good percentage of an A2 card front!    The script words "Sprinkled" and Sprinkles" are also featured in this collection, giving you lots of options for layering as well as sentiment building with the coordinating stamp set.

Some details about the Shakers + Sprinkles: Rectangles die collection…

  • The scalloped frame measures 4-3/4" x 3-1/2".
  • The interior rectangle cut from the center of the scalloped frame measures 4-1/8" x 3".  This is what you would use for your shaker box "backer" as well as your clear cardstock layer.
  • The stitched frame exterior measures 4-1/8" x 3".  This is what you would use to cut your adhesive foam layer and your top cardstock frame layer.
  • "Sprinkles" measures 3-1/4" x 1-3/4".
  • "Sprinkled" measures3-3/4" x 1-3/4".

Ovals-dies

The Shakers + Sprinkles: Ovals die collection also features a total of four dies.  These are a great size for A2 cards, both horizontally and vertically!    The script word "Scatter" is included in this collection, as well as a "confetti" die that can cut you endless amounts of custom colored sprinkles for your shakers!

Some details about the Shakers + Sprinkles: Ovals die collection…

  • The scalloped frame measures 4-31/2" x 3-1/4".
  • The interior oval cut from the center of the scalloped frame measures 4" x 2-3/4".  This is what you would use for your shaker box "backer" as well as your clear cardstock layer.
  • The stitched frame exterior measures 4" x 2-3/4".  This is what you would use to cut your adhesive foam layer and your top cardstock frame layer.
  • "Scatter" measures 3" x 1-1/2".
  • The overall confetti oval die measures 2-7/8" x 2".  The individual starburst shapes measure 5/8" x 5/8".  The smaller confetti averages around 1/4" to 1/8".

Hearts-dies

The Shakers + Sprinkles: Hearts die collection features a total of four dies.  These are a great size for not only card front, but tags too!    The two confetti dies offer you hearts and circles in various sizes for even more custom confetti options!

Heart dies

Some details about the Shakers + Sprinkles: Hearts die collection…

  • The scalloped frame measures 3-3/4" x 3-1/2".
  • The interior heart cut from the center of the scalloped frame measures 3-1/4" x 3".  This is what you would use for your shaker box "backer" as well as your clear cardstock layer.
  • The stitched frame exterior measures 3-1/4" x 3".  This is what you would use to cut your adhesive foam layer and your top cardstock frame layer.
  • The overall heart confetti die measures 2-1/2" x 2".  The individual hearts are about 1/4" each.
  • The overall circle confetti die measures 2-1/2" x 2".  The individual circles average between 3/16" to 1/8".

Test tube collection

Now, you can't make shakers without some amazing *sprinkles* to fill them with!  Betsy has hand-selected TEN of her all time favorites, all included in ths kit!  Each filler is contained in a small test tube measuring about 3" long and 1/2" in diameter, complete with a cork stopper.

Betsy has designed a complimentary test tube insert you can print, cut and fold to insert in your box if you wish.  This file will be emailed to you once you purchase your kit!

Aren't they all just to die for!!!  The fun part is you can use each filler as is, or you can start mixing and matching colors and textures for even more options!  

Glassine bags

If you wanted a bit of a different look to showcase your fabulous fillers, there are four mini glassine bags included, each measuring about 2" x 3-3/8".  So, so cute!  Not to mention quick and easy!

Paper collection

Betsy has only selected the absolute BEST for this kit, so she selected a high quality linen paper for her bright and colorful patterned paper collection to be printed on!  This is the same stock that our Monthly Moments paper pads are printed on, so you know this will be great too!

Here are a few details about the Shakers + Sprinkles paper pad…

  • The pad measures 8-1/2" x 11"
  • There are 18 sheets included, 3 sheets each of 6 designs
  • This is printed on a very high quality linen cardstock
  • Twelve of the pages are divided into four different designs, each for perfect as a quick A2 card front.  Meaning that once they are cut down you actually have 48 card fronts in 16 designs (3 of each design).
  • The colors used in this collection are Simply Chartreuse, Limeade Ice, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise and Hibiscus Burst.
  • This paper pad includes our signature wrap around cover for easy storage and reference.

I cant wait to give to my sister who had a stroke at a very young age and has lost a lot of her fine motor skills, she avoids making these type of cards because too hard to cut the shape of the foam…she is going to do summersaults with joy when she sees what she will now easily do and i cant wait to see her joy….thanks for putting together an amazing and practice kit

  587. I think this kit is a brilliant idea. I love Betsy’s shaker cards. I would have liked to see a kit that was $30.00 to $40.00, with one die set and the option to buy other sets. I understand that you guys are trying to make a profit during this economic depression. These kits that are in the $90.00 realm seem over the top, just like having to spend $600.00 to win the Birds and Blooms set in a 12 month time frame from Feb to Feb. I love your company, I love the DT. Is making this kit exclusive to a limited time offer, the only way you can guarantee it’s sale? Maybe I’m odd, I’ve got to spend $80.00 on my hair next week and SU card class is on the 10th and Mother’s Day is on the 11th. I do appreciate the chance to win it because there is no way I will achieve it otherwise.

  841. I hope that someone out there is having more luck than my friend and I are having at trying to order this kit. We have been diligently trying to get on the website since right before 10pm and it is now after 11:30pm. The website has crashed or stopped responding every time we have gotten the website to even load. This is so disappointing and frustrating! At this point, I hope that the kit doesn’t sell out before I can order one because then I have wasted all of this time for nothing.

  843. I managed to get it in my cart once and my friend got it into her cart twice and all the way to PayPal and it quit responding for her. This is not the first time that I have been unable to get checked out on a release day (night) and have stayed up trying just to be disappointed. This is a good way to lose loyal customers. I’m going to be really upset if they sell out and next week have someone pop up on eBay wanting to sell them for an outrageously inflated price.

  844. I am about to side with Debra. Since this isn’t the first time that the website has had issues working, why hasn’t it been addressed before now? Creat a lot of hype, give us a video to watch so we are all excited about it, have countless customers staying up to ridiculous hours to try and buy it, and we can’t even get on two hours after it’s supposed to be available to purchase. Seriously?! Lucky #209 because she may very well be the only one guaranteed to get the kit. Genuinely congratulations lucky winner!

  845. Congrats Anne! Enjoy! It took me 2.17 hours to order my kit….kept booting me off and saying service unavailable. But with a terrible sore throat and no sleep, I was persistent and yay can’t wait to get my kit! Guess I will have to put it away for Mother’s Day!!!

  849. Papertrey is the absolute best company! I had a frustrating time getting my order placed for this kit! Received an email from Papertrey explaining the problem. Walla, I finally did get my order placed. Had a time getting it to Pay Pal..finally did! I wanted toadd some other items, thought it best to leave well enuff alone. Now I will be checking my mail box for this amazing set.

  869. I’m still so frustrated that this kit was only available for ordering for 5-6 days. I will be crushed every time someone makes a card with it, just like the fabulous Birds and Blooms stamp set that was available to only those who were able to spend $600.00 from Feb. to Feb. the year it was available. These items are already Exclusive to your company. They are unique and you girls designed them. I guess it’s a good new business strategy, if it worked and helped you sell more than usual? PTI was the first company, I found that had matching dies with their stamps. I have no idea how much I have invested in my PTI things, but I usually save up and order close to if not $100 at a time. I can only take so many knives to my heart before, I will have to turn and walk away, beause at this rate, it’s getting too painful to be here.

So, you got tons of crafters still wanting this kit, but you can only offer to people on a waiting list, with a hick up of a chance at it, if impatient crafters who did spend $90 in the 6 days is was available during one of the most expensive months of the year due to Mother’s Day and Graduations? I keep hoping this is a dream and you’re really not making these odd sales decisions. Like the free stamp set to those who spent $600.00 bet one Feb. and the next. I hope the working girls keep you afloat because I will end up having to unsubscribe and purchase from companies that don’t have weird purchasing requirements. Eventually, I will discuss it on my blog, I’ve been dragging my feet, hoping…..this would change.

  878. The dies & stamps in this kit, are exclusive to the kit. Which means they can not be purchased separately, but the expendable items (Ex: Test Tube Fillers, Clear Cardstock,Etc.) can be purchased separately, when you’ve used up what you have from your kit. The kit IS still available for purchase- I just ordered mine! 🙂
