Birthday cards are far and away the most frequently made here. In addition to the cards that I make for myself and family to send, I’m the PTA birthday card maker for the staff at my daughter’s middle school. The teachers love getting handmade birthday cards!

Hmmmm, hard to say. I do make a lot of Christmas cards (about 60-70) but most of them will be very simple and mass produced. I also make a lot of birthday cards–we probably send or give about 30-40 of those in a year. But by far the most cards I make are Thank You cards. I make and donate about 30 cards per month for a nonprofit animal shelter, using a stamp and die of my own design.

So in terms of quantity, I would say Christmas cards take the lead. But my birthday cards are all personalized and unique so they take lead for uniqueness and quality.

I have a continual conveyor belt of cards going on and when the sack gets full, I take a trip to the local hospice and give them in for the patients. Some of the patients are under pallative care and can’t get out to get cards for family and friends.
