I make birthday cards for myself as well as others, so I make at least 275 cards a year. But there’s also a lot of extras, so I’d say 300 is probably closer to my total. And I don’t make any 2 alike.

    see mary stamp says:

Since I’ve been having monthly PTI get togethers with some stamping friends for a few years now I can now say that I make more birthday cards than I used to – probably in the 40-50 range. A more pertinent question is how many do I send, and I can say the answer to that is not enough. I think I’ll have a mid-year resolution to do better with that in the coming months. Beautiful projects this month. It’s amazing how the samples on the last day always have the ability to sway what makes it into my cart on the 15th.

  • 65
    Sue D says:

I make around 20 for family and friends but I don’t count how many I make for our church card ministry.

    Angela NJ says:

I maybe make about a dozen cards a year, and wish I could get organized enough to make one for every person I celebrate. I get caught up trying to make each card specific to a person and if I’m not inspired, I run out of time and end up buying a card instead. After reading through these comments, I feel challenged to increase my numbers for next year and would love to hear from some of the folks who make so many cards how they go about finding inspiration. Thanks!

  • 611
    Susan Gosman says:

Approximately 25, but the number seems to grow every year.

  • 613

I feel like a slacker after reading everybody else’s responses… I only make about a dozen-ish, maybe a few more. I have excellent intentions, and I even have a book with birthdays listed by month, but somehow I never get them made or mailed. Looks like I better get on that…

  • 614

    Cynthia Xavier says:

I make approximately 12 birthday cards, sometimes more. My daughters ask me to make birthday cards for them so they can give them to their friends.

  • 617
    Lisa Harris says:

Wow, PTI fans – after reading some of the previous comments I am seriously impressed! I don’t make anywhere near that many cards since I have quite a small family. I make anywhere from 45-50 birthday cards annually if I add in the 6-12 cards I make to replenish the birthday calendars I’ve given as gifts in the past.

  • 618
    Kimberly Russell says:

Since I am new to this, about 5-10. Hopefully that will improve!

    Bahb says:

I make sets of cards to sell at our church bazaar, so I’d guess around 300, but I KNOW the supplies make each card way more expensive than what they sell for. Gotta feed the addiction, though.

This Release is the BEST EVER for those of us who make so many cards. Many thanks.
    Bahb

150+ … I love sending cards almost as much as making them! Family, church family, friends … all get handmade cards for birthdays (and anniversaries). I even have a couple friends that “order” a couple dozen cards to send to their family and friends, so I’m always looking for new ideas and sentiments. 30 to 40. I donate most to our local library where they sell cards to help with the purchasing of new materials. Ours is a very small town and for spur-of-the-moment card purchases there really is nowhere else to shop for a card. Kind of a community service two-fer!

  • 651
    Vicki says:

I sell cards, so I probably make upwards of 250 per year. For my personal use, though, maybe 15 (and they are always much more involved and embellished than the ones I sell because I know they’ll – hopefully – be kept a little longer). That’s why I’m always so excited when I see a new birthday set with inside sentiments. My customers don’t like it when the inside of the card is blank.
