I hope you had fun warming up with the Morning Make-n-Take! Now we are going to move onto the fun challenges where you get to start earning those badges and sharing your projects with us! Feel free to snag the badge image above and add it to your blog post showcasing your projects for this challenge! First up is the Knots Badge!
One of Papertrey Ink's most popular products is our high-quality ribbons. Today we have presentations from six team members, demonstrating some fun things to do with each of our six ribbon types!
Your challenge is to pick one of the ribbon techniques from below and utilize it in a project of your own. You can re-create an exact replica of the designer's project or reinterpret it in your own way.
Here's a look at what the team has prepared for the Ribbon Techniques Challenge!

No glass beads for Betsy’s technique? Heat the edges of your flower first and then add a brad, button or rhinestone in the center. Have done this “melting” with organza fabric before so be very careful.

Bow challenge person no longer. I think I’ll earn this badge now. Thanks for all the ideas. Have also used Betsy’s technique before with organza, but using the heat gun. A little safer, but I’ll have to try the heat gun on ribbon, see if it’ll give it the same effect.

I was always ribbon/bow challenged until I watched Dawn’s video on how to tie a ribbon on her blog a long time ago. I’m been tying ribbons with no problem ever since. Thanks again Dawn!
