With the arrival of Mother's Day, I have been thinking a lot about how incredibly influential & important the roll of a mom is.
They help & support their children to achieve their goals and sacrifice so much for their success.
A mom is always there with unlimited hugs & kisses, perhaps even when we don't deserve them; always when we need them most.
Mothers always take the time to give just the right answers and the perfect advice, leading us to live our best life.
They shape the entire future of our world… the next leaders, the next doctors, the next teachers and even the next generation of mothers.
Motherhood is a choice made everyday to put someone else's happiness and well-being ahead of your own. To handle the burden of difficulties and hard times so that a child can be as carefree as possible.
I wish every one of you a very happy Mother's Day. Please know how much I look up to each of you… how much I respect all of you for shaping our future, for making the daily sacrifices we all know so well, for executing one of the most difficult jobs in the world to the very best of your abilities. You make this world a better place and we are all so lucky to have such strong women at the helm. Take a bit of time for yourself today and allow yourself to reflect on just how incredibly amazing you are!

OK, so the first video had me in tears, then seeing the giraffes made me melt. But when I saw Princess Di, I just lost it! I loved her so much and those two children wrapped around her is the epitome of motherhood! Thanks for making me appreciate my failing mom that much more today!

Happy Mother’s Day to you Nicole. My children and granchildren are grown and the third generation is growing too fast. Motherhood is something I just took for granted. This is the first Mothers Day without my Mom she died this past year at the age of 102. This is so touching.

So many times our job is thankless…
we’re expected to do the laundry…
cook the meals…
run the taxi service…
kiss the boo-boos…
wipe the tears…
answer 20 questions in 2 minutes…
have all the answers…
never have a closed door and few minutes of privacy…
exist on 5 hours of sleep…
be a financial whiz that can make money magically appear…
a hostile environment negotiator…
and available at any time of any day to do all of these things and more…
and our only reward is at the end of the day when…if we’re lucky…
our children wrap their arms around us…
and whisper “I love you”.
It’s the greatest job in the world.
And I hope you too have had a wonderful day…
