Make It Monday #15: Make Your Own Spray Mists

Jennifer Ellefson is back for this week's Make It Monday video to teach all of us how to utilize our reinkers to make our own spray mists in our signature colors. It's a smart, customizable, and economical way to get the most out of your supplies. Click play to learn more.

If you are joining along this week, here are the details concerning the Make It Monday Challenge.

–A new Make It Monday Challenge & video will go up every Monday morning at 9am EST.

–Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge.  Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a) use an reinker to create your own spray mist or b)use a reinker in a different application on your project.

–Post your project on your blog, in your gallery or on any other photo-hosting site (such as photobucket or flickr).

–Add your link to our —>InLinkz List<—

–You will have until 7am, Monday, May 23rdth, to add your link to the list to be eligible to win.  And you can enter as many times as you like.

–We will be tweeting and posting on our Facebook page every night (between 5-9pm EST) highlighting a Featured Project.  These tweets/Facebook postings will just be a shout-out regarding projects that caught our eye.  The tweets/Facebook postings no longer have any special merit regarding the actual contest.

–One randomly selected winner will be chosen from ALL the entries on Monday, May 23rd, after 7am.  The winner will be posted here on this blog post, on Twitter and Facebook.  The randomly selected winner will get to select a FREE Papertrey stamp set of their choice!

Good luck to everyone and we look forward to seeing your projects!

I had a hard time hearing the video. Maxed up the volume and it was still rather soft. AThe previous MIM videos were a little on the soft side as well.

Anyhow, thanks for sharing the technique.

This is beautiful, Jennifer! What a beautiful look and cool video. I love my Perfect Pearls too. Thank you for your hard work on this!

If any of you are having problems with your volume, you can try maxing your youtube volume as well as your computer’s and if necessary, plug headphones in to hear it better.

I’m very sorry for the volume problems! Erin and I went over all the possibilities, so I think it may be my microphone, so I will be sure to purchase a new one.

Awesome video Jenn! I too heard every word just fine. I was using earphones so computer speakers could have definitely been the problem many people were having.

As to the poster who had to be rude, that’s just not necessary. Jenn is a wonderful, sweet lady that I’m honored to know personally. I’ve taken many technique classes from Jenn and I LOVE the fact that she shows me how to do things I’ve done before with a new twist (I never thought to emboss after shimmer misting ’cause the CS is already wet). Or how to use things I already have in a new way.

Loved the video, loved the techniques and a big THANK YOU to you Jenn!

I love this card and every time I try the mist it will not spay and messes up my misters and I have to throw them away. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong. I know that’s a long shot w/o seeing what I am doing.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Great video and a beautiful card. I am going to try the doily dies with copy/printer paper and I love the blue “painter’s” tape trick! Thanks Jenn for taking the time to make this video for those of us who appreciate it…and for the one negative poster…like my mother used to say, “If you can’t say something nice, it’s better not to say anything at all.”
