My favorite birthday was my 30th Birthday. I spent the day with my husband and my sister surprised me with tickets to Wicked!!
Last year I turned 30 and it was GREAT! I had a Moroccan Themed party complete with belly dancing, finger cymbals and delicious food. Of course great friends were there to make it a special evening!
I would have to say my 31st birthday. My daughter was 3.5 months old and my 31st birthday fell on my first Mother’s Day. It was the best!
My favorite birthday was my 30th birthday as I had my first child celebrate with me. It was the first birthday I enjoyed since my mother passed away when I was 22, it somehow gave me permission to enjoy birthdays again. Thanks for the chance to win!
My 17th birthday- I got a car, and a surprise party! It was pretty neat, and way unexpected!

What a fabo Question! I was five and my little friend (who was a boy) and his mum made me a gorgeous doll house made out of cardboard boxes! I really loved it and the fact that they made it for me was so special!

Mine was 30 – that may sound strange as most people dread 30. I felt young, yet mature. Life was exciting looking back and looking forward.
My favorite birthday was my 7th!!! I got a baby sister, Sandy, for my birthday!!! She is great! We are delayed twins!
I have to say 30. I was mortified about turning 30 and I think back now and can’t believe my reaction. Oh, to be 30 again!!!
My 16th birthday… my mom threw a surprise party for me… it snowed for the first time that year… and I passed my driving test.

16. My parents planned a surprise birthday for me. I was all dressed up because I thought a family friend was taking my sister and I out for a nice lunch, well, up pulls a long white stretch limo and we picked up all my closest girl friends and went to a tea house. It was SOOO awesome and I’ll never forget it 🙂
Got to be my 16th! It was a surprise party…and I was so surprised. I thought my best friend had ditched me for the day (two weeks before my bday) and I was sooooo bummed. Then the party, nothing elaborate but we had such fun.
The day I was born. I was my Sister’s 7th birthday present. We are so close and I love her very much.
My favorite age was 25. My husband arranged an elaborate birthday scavenger hunt, and the following day we played laser tag! So much fun!!
My favorite birthday was my 40-10th(…also known as the Big 5-0) because it put me only 15 years away from full pension which translates to all day crafting!!!
Turning 40. My husband threw a surprise party and invited our friends and family. We went out to a great restaurant and then came home and celebrated some more. AND he even gave me some great jewelry – diamond earrings! YAY. If turning 40 was that much fun…I can’t wait to see 45! 😉
Sweet 16 because I had a ZIGGY character cake that said ‘Your hair looks great!’ I spent a lot of time curling my hair and everyone knew it….hahahaha.
My favorite birthday of course was number 16–I could get the prized drivers license.
I am not a fan of my birthday. However this year was quite good my husband had a surprise party for me. And he had everyone show up at my fave restaurant. Some of my friends had come 1000’s of miles, so that was truly special.

My favorite birthday was my 7th birthday. I was the only kid in the neighborhood without a 2 wheeler. My parents were barely making ends meet and I knew they could not afford it so I asked for roller skates instead. My grandparents overheard something I had said to a friend and on my birthday I not only got skates, but a bicycle too. It was a blue girl’s bike from Sears and it felt like a miracle at the time. Not sure who paid for it, but between them they made it happen.
I’ve had so many that it’s hard to remember, but I’d say #21 was the best. Finally legal and ready to get moving into the big, wide world.
My favorite birthday was when I was 8 – a Barbie sleepover complete with fabulous handmade Barbie dresses for all!
My favorite birthday was two years ago when I turned 30. My husband threw me a surprise party with all my friends and family. It was so nice to be surrounded by people who care about me on my day.
My favorite birthday was my 30th! I spent the day at Disney World and then went to the Hoop-de-do Musical Review for dinner!! Great place to bring out the kid in anyone…even a 30 year old!!
Mine was 16. Such a magical year. I could date and drive, and I felt like I could finally catch up to my older friends.
My favorite birthday was when I was 6. My mom let me have a “friend” party which was quite an accomplishment considering I had 3 younger siblings at the time. She let me invite all the neighbor kids and some of my friends from my kindergarten class. I can still see the pin the tail on the donkey poster that hung on the door and the cake with heart shaped balloons. Thanks mom for knowing how important that was for me when I was 6!
My favorite birthday was age 8 when my mom made me a hand piped Birthday Bear cake and my sister made me my own birthday crown that she spent all week working on. And I received my pink Caliente 10 Speed bike!
I think my favorite was 16. I am the youngest of three girls, for each of us my mom took us to New York City for the weekend. I remember seeing Les Miserables, the circus and having ice cream sundaes at Serindipitys. I would love to do this with my boys some day, although I don’t think they will be into the shopping the way I was. 🙂
My favorite birthday was my 40th when my family and friends surprised me with a surprise party. I didn’t suspect a thing because my birthday is right before Christmas and usually everyone is in a rush getting ready for the holidays. I often forget it myself:-)
For my 28th birthday, by boyfriend surprised me with a handbag that I had been dying for! He videotaped me opening the gift. We still watch the video and crack up at all the screams of excitement.

I had a blast turning 40 a year ago. I had so much support from everyone special in my life and actually celebrated several times, including with my family, with my girlfriends and many times after the big day. I honestly believe you come more into your real self as you get older, and this was one birthday when I did exactly what I wanted and never regretted a single moment.
My best birthday was when I was 8yrs old…it was a Strawberry Shortcake themed party. A bunch of my friends came and dressed as the different characters…I can still remember almost 30yrs later.
Ooooh, that is a tough one. Probably one of my favorites was when I turned 25. I just had my first son a few weeks prior-my miracle baby. I remember feeling just so thankful for my little bundle of joy. No matter how exhausted I was, just to cuddle and coo with him, best time ever….

probably my 18th. it was also the year i graduated high school, so we did a combined party (i graduated a few days before my birthday). everyone i cared about was there, and it was so laid back and fun. and mom made the best food. it was just fun and simple and i love birthdays like that.
my 30th was awesome – my hubby threw me a surprise birthday that actually stayed a surprise… until we parked the car and my 3 year old daughter starting listing all the people who were waiting inside the hall! lol! It was a great evening.
Scary to say, but I just celebrated 40th(ouch). My husband had a limo pick my friends and I up and took us on the town. The limo even had a dance floor in it. So much fun!!
My favorite birthday was my 50th – my sons and husband pulled off a fantastic surprise for me and we all spent a snowed in weekend together alone! It was awesome and I can’t believe they pulled it off without me knowing! (Of course, my 39th, because I have the same one every year!)
16 … Because I knew that the only thing standing between me and my real drivers license was a few weeks of lessons.
My 16th! I’ll never forget it because it was a surprise party that I almost ruined. I was working in the baseball concession stand and cut my hand and had to go to the hospital for stitches. I was to be working all day and my mom was preparing the house for the party. When my dad took me to the ER, he couldn’t take me home or it would ruin the surprise. I remember crying and putting up a fit “just to go home.” Finally, he did take me home and everyone was there to celebrate and I felt like a complete moron for making such a fuss when my mom and dad just wanted to keep the party a surprise……lol It was the best birthday ever!
50…my sisiter surprised me and we flew to Disneyland for the day!
I think my favorite was my 23. I had surprise party (impromptu) by a kind of stranger. It was in a work related setting, where not too many people new me, but it was my birthday and he wanted to surprise me. My husband was with me and did not know about it either. It was a great surprise!
Probably my 18th – mid 80’s, at the height of all the great english New Romantic music and going out for a dance with my best friends. We had a ball!!!
I would say my favorite birthday was probably my 20th – it is the first one I spent with my husband.
So far my favorite birthday has been my 25th – just a few weeks ago. My birthday is Christmas Day, so each one is special. This year everything was relaxed and well paced so I was able to just enjoy the day and my family
Probably my 14th birthday – my mom threw me a party, which for us growing up was NOT something we were used to. I had half dozen friends over and we went to a hot air balloon show and all got glow necklaces! It was so much fun and my favorite birthday from my childhood! 🙂
I don’t know that I have a favorite, isn’t that sad! I must the birthdays since kids have been getting better and better. My 4 year old is such a dear and she works so hard to make it special for me.

My favorite birthday happened when I was 8. My mom was famous for her homemade birthday parties and this year was the winner. She and my dad tied a very, very long string to a popsicle stick then tied the other end to a pack of gum. Then the unravelled the string all over the back yard, criss-crossing through hills, woods, trees, etc. It was such a fun adventure and a great memory. And it continues to be a great reminder to keep things simple.
My favorite birthday was 30. It was the year I realized I was a woman already. Colors were more vibrant and scents more alouring. I spent my birthday with a few girlfriends on the boat of a friend suntaning and enjoying a summer day.
Yes, that was my favorite birthday and every one since then has been a succession.
My 14th birthday was exciting b/c it was the first time I ever had a birthday party w/friends.
My first year in college – 19 – my friends chalked the sidewalks and had a surprise party for me that evening. I remember thinking how that was going to be a day I cherished forever – it definitely is.

Hey did Beth know the question tonight? Ha…As I said over on the forum for me it was my last birthday that just passed. I was spoiled beyond belief by my hubby and kids and the rest of my family. I ate for each meal at one of my favorite places. I got my first “real” pro camera which has been used tons since I got it in November. My MIL gave me a cute mini cupcake maker which I used weekly. I felt so blessed and loved that day I said if 35 is like this I think I am gonna keep it and so far it has been one of my best!
Honestly, i just turned 40 six weeks ago… and it was my best birthday ever! My DH threw me a party and my friends and family came to celebrate with me! I was worried about admitting that I was getting older, but mentally I feel like I’m 25, but I’m a heck of a lot smarter now than I was 15 years ago.
My resolution this year, is to make sure I remember all my special people’s birthdays… I know the arm feeling of having me friends remember m and i want to to the same for others. My 16th… My mom totally surprised me with a party BEFORE my birthday! I also remember my 4 year old brother unwrapped most of my gifts for me! (I was ok with that! He had me wrapped around his little finger.)
There is something special about childhood birthday’s. A cake with candles and fun games like Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Those fun times will always have a special place for me!
My favorite birthday so far was probably my 23rd. My husband took me and my best girlfriends out for a night in Philly. We had such a great time, and so many fun memories. We still laugh about it today!
For my 16th birthday, I got a stereo and a surprise party. For my 19th birthday our house was wrecked by a tornado. Ya win some, ya lose some!

My favourite birthday would have to be my 20th. The year that followed was the best ever. After my 21st birthday, I got very sick with a disease I still have. So I wish I could go back to 20!
My favorite birthday was my 30th. My husband did his best to have a surprise party for me. I was almost totally surprised until my best friend blew it. It was moments before we walked in the door, but my sweet hubby knew the moment he saw my face that I had a hint of what was happening. It still was a SUPER party and I loved it!!! Looking forward to making some one else’s birthday really special with all these new stamps 🙂
I’d have to say my 50th! My family planned surprises and fun activities that lasted the whole month long. I love this time of my life!
My 10th birthday is most memorable to me. I don’t remember what really went on then, but I remember have all of my favorite friends over and wearing my fave new sweater my mom gave me.

My favorite birthday was my 12th. Big party with a slumber party. Lots of fun!!
My 13th birthday is very memorable for me. My mom was having heart surgery that day, and my dad did everything he could to still make that day special. He gave me a gold cross necklace, which I still have and treasure now! We spent time together and talked, and it ended up being a good day!
I don’t celebrate birthdays but I will never forget when I moved onto double digits…turning 10 was such a big deal…
My favorite birthday was my 50th. Just because I know where I am in my life and I have more time for crafting than I did when I was 40. LOL!
I remember my 6th birthday like it was yesterday. We had a great party but what I remember the most is the ladybug cake that my Mom made for me! It was fabulous! So great in fact that I made it for my daughter when she was 4. Such a great way to celebrate again!

It was either my 9th or 10th birthday – I’m a little foggy on the age BUT I do remember I had a double birthday with one of my BFFs that was also a slumber party! The theme was the Smurfs – LOL – I’m dating myself now! We giggled and played games and watched scary movies all night – tons of fun!
When I turned 30-something, my fourth grade class surprised me with a party. Each student made a card and wrote why they enjoyed being in my class. It was a day filled with laughter and happy tears….and lots of cake and balloons!
For my 30th birthday my husband invited my family to the Olive Garden for dinner. We had a great time.
I had the best time on my 30th birthday. I finally had reached a point where I was comfortable in my own skin. I brought all my family in to visit, and we went out for dinner at a local BBQ place. Nothing fancy, but loads of fun!
My most memorable birthday was my 21st. I celebrated for two weeks with family, friends and coworkers (and even went to see John Denver live in concert). Was so disappointed that my friends would not make plans with me on my birthday, and my poor Mom didn’t know what to tell me. Turns out she knew all along they were planning a BIG surprise birthday party for me. Hence, I wouldn’t be spending my BIG day without friends. However, I was so shocked when finally a friend and I stopped by to pick up another mutual friend and instead her house was full of people there to surprise me and celebrate. Was originally embarrassed but oh what fun we had! Probably dated myself as that was years ago!

Sweet 16 because my parents bought me diamond earrings and made it very, very special. My mom felt that 16th birthdays should be magical, and they made mine magical, too.
I loved turning 16! I was old enough to have a little independence and responsibility but not too much!
I would have to say my 18th birthday was my favorite…I was spending the summer in Great Britain, tramping around with 2 girl friends and having a grand time. My 18th b’day was a week before we had to return to the reality of starting University and settling back down. Very memorable!
I would have to say my 21st birthday was the most memorable and not for the reasons one may think. I was in college and was given a surprise party by my family and friends. I had no idea so it truly was a surprise and it was great to celebrate with my family and friends….and yes I did have a “drink” to celebrate the special occasion.
I think I was 9. My mom and I made a paper mache pinata. It was my first offical craft. It was so great. The funny part was that we had done such a great job on it that it wouldn’t break. It was great.

My 40th…after years of trying to conceive, I found out I was pregnant just days before turning 40. I glowed for nine months!

For some reason my 9th birthday jumped out at me because I remember having a Peter Pan party. All the guests were sent a coloring page with the invitations and there was a coloring contest. Of course my mother awarded everyone with prizes! I always loved having those Disney theme parties!
My fave birthday was when I turned 32. My daughter was born 6 months ago and it was my first birthday with my baby girl.
My 34th, Girlfriends took me to dinner at a new popular tapas bar,embarrased the waiter, indulged in the best pots de creme ever, and then we headed out to the eclipse premiere, It was the most fun I have had in years.
I would have to say my 30th. I dreaded turning 30 and moaned and groaned about it for weeks before. And then it came and I had a good feeling about my 30’s – and I was right – they have been amazing.

My favourite birthday was actually when I turned 30…I was a little nervous to hit the milestone, but my sister made a really funny basket with lots of 30 themed items that I know she really put a lot of thought into it. So, she made it a very easy transition for me!
My 16th birthday. My brother told me to go out and get something from his car and there was a note in there that said that the car was now mine. So totally shocked and happy. Best day ever!!
I guess my 35th birthday was one of the best for me. I was finally mature enough to make good decisions and my family was complete having had my third son the previous year. And I think that 35 was just a good number.

My favorite birthday was my 8th. It was a good old fashion home birthday party with pin te tail on the donkey and other silly back yard birthday games. I can still remember the sundress I wore and how my mom put my hair up in a bun. I remember feeling so “grown up” with my pretty up-do! I still have a picture of me with the kids from my party sitting together on our front steps. Those were the good ‘ol days! Life was simple back then!
Two years ago when I turned fifty my fellow papercrafting friends took me out to dinner and then we went to one of their homes and crafted all night…oh and there was ice cream cake! Yum.
My favorite birthday was my 30th. My husband gave me a surprise party and I was pregnant with my second child, my little girl!
believe it or not, my favorite birthday was my 45th birthday. because it was a milestone birthday i wanted to do something special. what i chose to do was make my birthday not about me, but about those around me who are in need. with the help of my friends i was able to make a very nice donation to world vision. it was the best feeling ever!
My 50th. I’m going for 100 this marks the halfway point.
50 because I was officially a 1 year survivor of breast cancer and my older brother and his wife came to visit that year. He gave me a fifty dollar bill.
My 30th. My husband surprised me with a very special birthday my car got decorated up at work, Only back then I was not married only dating.
I think I was 8 or 10. We had a “tea” with punch and fancy, little sandwiches.
I think honestly it was 40 … that wasnt hanging over my head any more and I played it up like princess week – capping it off with a new car right before i turned 41 …
My fave birthday was my 12th birthday when my father bought a second hand bicyle and did it up for me. It was special as it was my very first bicycle and lots of fond memories too.

One of my favorite birthdays was my 40th. My husband took me shopping for maternity clothes because I was expecting my daughter after having had a miscarriage. It was a very happy birthday!
My favorite birthday was my 21st birthday….and not for the reasons that some might think 21 was the best. My best friend and boyfriend planned a surprise trip for me. My BF packed my bags and put me in the car (with her and her boyfriend driving) to meet my boyfriend (now my husband) at a mountain bed and breakfast. It was such a thoughtful, wonderful surprise…I appreciated all of the effort that went into their planning and secret. (In the 14 years since, they have planned many thoughtful and wonderful events for me and I am so thankful for them both!) **And thanks for reminding me of how thankful I should be for them both**
My 11th birthday was my favorite birthday because I got to spend it with my grandparents, which was a wonderful experience because it was the first time I visited their house in Florida. During the festivities we had cake, swam in my grandparents’ pool, and enjoyed the company of close family and friends. 🙂
My 30th birthday has been the best so far. I celebrated with my mom, dad, and sister. I had been going through a really rough time and they just had a low key birthday for me, with some really nice presents, a nice dinner, and my mom made my favorite dessert – gingerbread with tart lemon sauce! Yum! I was very thankful they didn’t go all out and plan a surprise party or post anything in the paper or put big signs in the front yard (which is what I was totally expecting…and dreading). I appreciate that they really wanted to make the day special and focused on me. They used it as a day to help me through my troubles!
My favorite birthday memory was number 60. My daughter and her family had moved back to Indiana (where I live) from Florida and were living right behind me on my birthday. They had a ‘yard card’ put up in the front yard that said “Holy Cow – Nanna’s 60 now” and all around the card was a circle of little plastic cows. I have a picture of me with my two grandchildren standing next to the yard card – I love it.
This year. My son and daughter were away at college and they both flew in to suprise me! It made me so happy.
My 16th Birthday would have been my favorite birthday because I was old enough to get a job and become more independent. I was able to drive and have some freedom. Because we only had one car, most days I had to pick my mom up from work so she didn’t have to take the bus. Plus, I was one of the oldest in my group of friends so I got my license first, which was awesome!!!
Love this question! Definitely my 27th birthday. My daughter, who was supposed to be born on my birthday, came the week before. She was the best gift ever!
I have had many great birthdays. The most memorable being 18 when I was in NYC on a high school trip with oodles of friends and 20 when I was on a spring break road trip with a friend!
My favourite so far, was my 21st birthday. I was studying/living about 4 hours from home. My parents threw me a cocktail party at their house, with all of my dear, old friends whom I hadn’t seen for months. Many made very special speeches about me, and our fun together. I felt very loved!!!
Each year is special. I thank God for being able to experience so many wonderful memories. Spending birthdays with family is the best.
My favorite birthday was when I turned 18 and was able to buy my first car. There is nothing like that sense of freedom with your own wheels :).
25…I was learning who I was, who I wanted to be and about life. I realy felt 25 was my turning point in getting it togehter 🙂
I would say my 25th Birthday was my best,I went on a 2nd date with this new guy who I ended up marrying – 12 married years and 15 total years together later, I couldn’t be more happy!!!!
My favorite birthday was my 23rd. My *then boyfriend* knew how special birthdays were in my family (his weren’t as special to him because he is a twin!), so he took me to a wonderful dinner and movie. We came back to his apartment and when we walked in his balcony had been set up by his friends while we were out (he had arranged it all). There was a small table with lace tablecloth, red roses (my fave) in a beautiful vase, candles, and Harry Connick Jr playing on the stereo. He asked me to dance. Then, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife and showed me this stunning ring he had designed himself with diamonds and sapphires (my fave again!). We’ve now been married almost 14 years. What’s important to note is he is NOT a romantic at heart, he says he just loves me and tries to figure out what I would like and do that. Now *that* is a man to love for a lifetime!
When I turned 14 – I got a brand new bike from my dad – I was such an outdoorsy girl – (not so much any more) so it was the perfect gift! I wasn’t expecting it at all, so it was a wonderful surprise!
My 9th birthday was the best! My dad is a singer & travelled a lot. For my 9th birthday I got to fly to where he was performing and watch him sing, which is still one of my favorite things to do!
That’s a tough one… I have fond memories of my 16th, 18th, 19th and 21st birthday but I think my 19th is my favorite. My dorm friends and sorority sisters made my first birthday away from home truly special! My most recent, 28th, was wonderful too because it was my first birthday as a MOM!
My 8th birthday, my grandpa gave me a big box, it was filled with crushed newspaper and i have to search threw it to find a small box that had a small glass cat. It started my cat collection.
50th !!! My family had a surprise birthday party for me and I had no clue. Out of town guest and alot of friends. I could not believe they did all the planning and kept it from me. My husband and daughters did a fantastic job !!! It was a birthday I will never forget !!!
I was going to answer “16th” but my parents took me to Las Vegas! What’s a 16 year old to do in Vegas with her parents?! LOL!
I’ll have to say my favorite birthday was my 13th. My dad borrowed my grandpa’s van, mom made a picnic dinner and baked cupcakes. They drove me and 6 of my closest friends to the beach where we had a picnic, then they drove us all around the island on a “ghost” tour! We had a blast!
my favorite birthday was when I was 18. Being a Christmas eve baby means that alot of people forget about your birthday. My mom always made of point of celebrating my birthday on my birthday. For my 18th birthday, I asked her to make me a Christmas tree cake like when I was little. Bless her soul, she did this for me.
My favorite birthday was my 40th. My husband threw me a surprise party! When we walked in, all my friends were there, my family and our 9 year old son. Just the fact that he took the time to plan all that out and I never knew about it – it made it very special.
Probably my 24th b’day because I got an engagement ring for my present!!
Mine was 28 because my first child, a son was born on the 28th of June the year I was 28 on the 28th of July. I thought that was a very special birthday.
My favorite birthday was when I turned 45. I ordered a glass of sangria at lunch, and I was carded! In fairness, I should admit that I didn’t look 21–the restaurant policy is if you look 35 or younger, they card you. But I’ll take that! And then that night we had dinner with some good friends. It was a great day.
My favorite was my 30th, I’m under 5′ tall and all my life until then felt so young. At 30 I felt I was an adult finally. Oh to go back to the days when I felt sooo young.
Wow…don’t have strong memories of my birthdays but do have great memories of sitting with my grandma on the “davenport” (sofa) looking through her scrapbook. It had a page for every birthday my sisters and I had. She kept a napkin, plate and little pointy hat from each of our parties. Can still visualize her handwriting on each page. Wish I could have gotten my hands on that album when she passed away.
The day I turned 12. I got a brand new bike, after having handmedowns.. It was a beautiful orange yellow metallic with three gears. I loved that bike!

Every one that I see is pretty special to me. My last memorable one was 10 I think. Lots of kids from the hood, cake, ice cream and games. Best part was my mom was counting all the kids and forgot me. No plate or hat or anything. Such a cute memory.
Yikes, my husband always trys to make my birthday special – since it is right around Mothers Day. I guess my favorite was 30. No big party, but my parents were in town, love that.

My favorite birthday was my 6th birthday. My parents had a birthday party for me with a few friends in our basement and my present was a green Schwinn bicycle with chrome fenders. My brother who was 12 at the time helped me learn to ride it. What a fun time in my life!!!
My favorite birthday was 16! My family did not do big birthdays, so the fact that I had a party that included all my friends was special to me…and that I had a swim party for my April birthday (my parents rented the indoor pool at the YMCA for the afternoon) made it even more awesome.

I’m not sure if I would say it was my favorite…that’s hard to choose…but I’d have to say my 10th really sticks out in my mind. My sister and I have birthdays fairly close together, so we had a joint party as usual and invited friends. I got Candy Land, Operation and a blue pillow, with a picture of a bunny holding a carrot…I still have all of those things 30 years later!

My fav birthday was my 18th…all my friends got together to throw me a surprise party. It was great; we all had a lot of fun.
While I have fond memories of many of my birthdays, the one that stands out the most is my 36th birthday. I spent the day at the San Francisco Zoo with my mom and we were able to get a sneak-peak at the new Grizzly Gulch exhibit before it opened to the general public. Despite the fact that I was turning 36, I felt like a kid again!
My 26th birthday my twin sister and I spent in El Salvador on a mission trip. It was wonderful to eat authentic papusas (sp?) and have a traditional fig cake for our birthday. It was very memorable!
I loved being 27! Just out of grad school and working my first “real” job — it was such a fun year of growing up! I celebrated with friends at dinner.
My sister gave me an ipod, back when ipods were just becoming popular. I was so excited about that gift and even now I still use that ipod just because my sister gave it me. I guess it is vintage now!
Any birthday that I get to share with my family is my favorite! We were all living in different states until recently, but now we’re all together again!
Without a doubt my 40th!!! I bet not many people will admit to that one being their favorite! It was a total surprise party that I was clueless about! The sad part was that I was totally expecting it and was still shocked when I walked in the door to what I thought was a party for my husband’s work group. I had seen that my bff had texted my husband, I didn’t open the text because I knew I had a big birthday coming up, however, I did think if my birthday comes and goes and no surprise then these two have some explaining to do! 🙂 They had invited many people from all stages of my 40 years of life…I was so touched that they all cared enough to come and made me feel so darn special. I cried many times the day after with a smile on my face because I was so touched!
I would have to say 16…Able to get that long awaited drivers license!
Probably my 16th because it was such a big deal to finally be able to drive! My Dad had bought me my first car and I waited so patiently for that day to get the keys.
I would have to say my 21st. I started kindergarten when I was 4 (my b-day is Sept. 15th), so nearly all of my friends were a year older than me. I was finally able to go out with all of them legally!!
I guess I like the memory of my early years birthdays….6-8 or so. The 3 neighbor kids would come over…cake(home baked and deocrated by my Mother)& ice cream…no games, no clowns or ponies. On the table would be the ceramic baby booties filled with flowers, the same way they had been deliveredc to my Mother on the day I was born. My father preserved these memories on 8MM film…now on DVD. A sweet and innocent time.
Great Question…My favorite Birthday was my 31st…I brought my youngest newborn son home from the hospital on my 31st Birthday…was my best present every….He is still a blessing to me today…22 years later! Thanks PTI; for bringing back a wonderful memory!
The last birthday I shared with my mother…I turned 45. She and her husband took my family and me out to dinner. There were lovely gifts but what I remember was the time I had with her. Precious moments in my memory book.
My family and friends threw me a “surprise” 40th birthday party! I really don’t like surprises and would prefer not to have all of the attention centered around me but in the end it was so much fun to share the day with all of the people who are such an important part of my life!
My favorite birthday was when I was six and I remember having a beautiful sunny July day…many friends were over and my mom had a pinata she made for us. My little friend from across the street came over and his face was painted as one of the members from the band Kiss! I will never forget it because at age six I didn’t really know who that was and I was thinking he was strange for coming all painted up like that, but I do remember he broke the pinata!
It would have to be my 53rd birthday when my husband gave me tickets to go see my favourite singer George Strait in concert.
My favorite birthday was when I turned 13. It was one of the last times I really had a birthday party with all of my friends. I was really “into” unicorns, which were big at the time and many of my gifts were themed as such. I remember being so surprised when my mom presented me with a special ordered cake with a unicorn on it and using my favorite color, purple! They had mistakenly put lemon filling in it instead of the buttercream but we just ate around it! 🙂 It was quite the memorable birthday!
My favorite birthday was my 35th. I was pregnant with my first child, and we spent my birthday visiting my sister and her brand new baby, also her first child. In addition, my husband managed to pull off one of the best surprises for me by tracking down and purchasing a special gift that he knew I’d really treasure.

16 – because I knew that I was just a few lessons away from getting my real drivers license. I felt so grown up!
I was 5 (my favorite number) on 5/5 when I received my first 2-wheel bicycle. We had a curved driveway with 2 entrances/exits so my father plopped me on the bike, ran with me for a bit, until I got the hang of it (no training wheels way back in the dark ages) and round and round I went. I only knew how to stop by falling off the bike but it was soooooo worth it for that fun feeling that I was flying!
My 40th – I just turned 40 this past November. I like to think that life gets better with age – so every birthday is better than the last (especially since I get to spend them with my husband and my two boys!)
I would have to say my 60th because I found out I was going to be a Grandma for the first time. My heart has not been the same since.
My favorite birthday age was my 31st birthday! I found out that I was pregnant with my son! What an awesome birthday present!! I was on cloud nine the entire day and week. He is 7 now and still the light of my life!
My 31st birthday, when my girls were 8 and 10 and made me a birthday cake. They didn’t know how to thicken the frosting, and it was so thin it ran down the sides and pooled at the bottom. But I loved it for the effort they made to prepare it!

My favorite birthday was my 40th! It was almost as if a switch had been thrown…I finally cared more about myself than always trying to please others and worrying about what those others thought of me. I suddenly felt wiser than I’d ever been. Finally comfortable in my own skin.
My 40th. My now husband, then boyfriend, had a surprise birthday weekend set up for me where he flew my out of state siblings into town and surprised me with dinner at a very nice restaurant. I was just coming through the recovery of a rather significant surgery so it was kind of a celebration to put all of that behind.
I think my favorite was a surprise 18th birthday party! My friends and family did a great job surprising me. I thought we were going to see a late night movie and I wanted to go in pjs but my sister insisted I dress myself and get ready and I’m so glad I did because I love looking back at the pictures.
Mine was 50!!! I spent the day relaxing and making cards. It was really nice just to be waited on.
I think I was 5 or 6. I just remember it being full of friends and family, a friendly (girl) clown named Bubbles who did magic tricks and balloon animals, and lots of fun and laughter!
My favorite birthday is actually coming up for my son. Parker will be turning 5 this May. We have been planning and saving for a year to take him to Disney World. It’s such an exciting time. And I’m totally nervous at the same time about him getting older. I told my boss I’d probably have to take the week off when he starts school this fall. My favorite birthday was turning 8. My birthday falls in the middle of the sugar beet harvest and my mom always drove a truck for my uncle’s farm. It seemed like I never got to see her during what seemed like FOREVER during the harvest. I have four cousins who have their birthdays within days of mine so we used to have a big group birthday party. I just remember being SO happy that my mom was able to come to the party!! (My brother and I typically would stay at my grandma’s during the harvest so even when my mom WAS home to sleep, we weren’t there to see her.)
My favorite birthday has been every one I’ve had since turning 35. I met my husband and on one of our first dates realized we both shared June 12th birthdays. So fun.

It’s hard to pick a favorite year, but one of the most memorable was age 7, when all of us at my party still had the marks from just getting over chickenpox.
I think it is going to be next month to be honest. I’m turning 60! AND why is that the best? Well, I can go wherever I want and do whatever I want because we are retired and have no restrictions. It would be my 50th. We were camping with my entire family and they decorated the camp.

35! I threw myself an 8th birthday party – we didn’t have parties with people outside the family so it was probably the 8th birthday party of my life and 3+5=8. A bunch of adults playing kids party games it was a hoot and a half.
My favorite birthday was when I turned 13. There were three of us who were very good friends. 2 of us had birthdays within a couple of weeks of each other. Our third friend worked with each of us to throw a surprise party for the other so while I thought I was surprising my one friend, she thought she was throwing a surprise party for me! We had such a good laugh and great sleepover party that night.
My favorite birthday was my 18th. My mom and I took a cruise to celebrate. That is the last trip I was able to take with her due to her health problems. It will always be a special memory that I have of her.

Of course, all of my questioning ruined the surprise, but it did not ruin the great time I had with my girlfriends. We went out for a nice dinner, and danced the night away! 33! my best friend planned a super fun day that included all kinds of things i had always wanted to do, but had never done: the Omnimax Theater, Racecar driving, waterslides, and to top it all off– dinner at Chuck E. Cheese! It was AWESOME!

We live out of state from our relatives and went home that weekend…my mom had a surprise party for me and invited the whole family and old friends of mine and had my favorite birthday cake – chocolate with whipped cream and bananas in the middle – and a picture of 2 year old me on the top of the cake. My 40th birthday was made incredibly special and fun by friends. They ‘decorated’ my front yard (also known as TP-ing) while I was at work, put foam cups in the chain link fence so everyone driving by knew it was my birthday and delivered an ‘over the hill’ cake to mark the occassion. What a hoot!

I had an amazing golden birthday this last year — 28th! My husband took the day off to spend with me and we got to take our kids to the beautiful botanic gardens!
My fave was when I turned 23. I spent it in Hawaii with my husband. It was just so beautiful and romantic!
I think my 36th birthday was wonderful. It was my first birthday as a mom.
30. I know so many people who thought it was traumatic, but I kind of enjoyed it– 18 may make you an “adult,” but 30 is when people start to take you seriously.
Mine was 42 – my DH was gone for the weekend, so my three kids ranging in age from 4-9 made me breakfast complete with decorations, set the table with flowers they had made and put on their best clothes. It took them an hour and a half to get it all set up and was so sweet. They went on to make me lunch and dinner to that day – including decorating sugar cookies for my birthday treat.
I just LOVE birthdays and don’t even think that I could pick one favorite one. This past birthday (61) was terrific because my grandchildren (7 and 8) were staying with us for the week and we took them to the botanical gardens to a fairy and wizard event. It was fun to see the joy and excitement in their faces!

I had 16 girlfriends over for my 16th birthday for a slumber party, and boy did we have fun!!! Typical teenage girls hanging out in our PJs, singing, dancing, dreaming about Jon Bon Jovi, eating junk food and laughing until we cried!! My 30th Birthday! My birthday always falls on labor day weekend. And we always go away. My husband rented a house in the Hamptons and gave me a surprise party!!! First of all I thought renting the House there was my gift because i always wanted to go there. So he booked it a year in advance and then he invited some friends and family and i never ever expected that. I felt like a superstar!!!

One of the fondest birthday memories for me was my 7th birthday. My birthday falls around Easter and my Grandma had made me a “House” style cake. It actually wasn’t a cake at all but a cake tin decorated all pretty and filled to the top with toys and sweets, and hollow chocolate Easter bunnies! Just magic to a little girl!

Mine was 40… My husband gave me a surprise party, the first since we were married. And I was taken totally by surprise! But my favorite thing about it was the HUGE card he made me – 40 hand-drawn candles and birthday wishes on a full piece of mat board.

My 40th birthday was most definitely the best! My dear friend Rebecca suggested that we should go to Paris for my 40th Birthday, our husbands agreed, and we ACTUALLY WENT! We had an amazing week – it was truly the trip of a lifetime, and a great way to celebrate entering my “middle age!”

Well I have two birthdays every year. One for the day I was born, and one for the day of my last chemo treatment. My favorite birthday was 2 years ago when I celebrated 20 years cancer free. Each one is special, but for me…that 20th just seemed liked a mile stone.

But seriously, I really enjoyed my 21st birthday when my family celebrated with another family and we called it, “Tom’s Twice As Old As Heather Birthday” – we all had a lot of fun.
My favorite birthday was my 10th birthday. I remember being so excited about reaching the “double digits!”
My fav birthday happened when I turned 27. We were at graduate school and my friend had put together a surprise party and totally surprised me!!! It was also the first time I had tried red velvet cake -YUM!!!

Birthdays are always a special time but my favorite was my 40th. It was a great day with my family and I was ok with the fact that I was getting older. God had also blessed me with a special baby boy, my first, about 9 months before this birthday.

My favorite birthday was by far my 30th. I think I planned my big birthday bash my entire 29th year…but God had bigger plans for me. By the time I turned 30, I had just had our third son and for my birthday my family of boys surprised me with dinner at home and a pink princess cake! No mega party could have ever made me feel more appreciated and more blessed than I did that day.
57 (in 2010)…in the year prior, I had a mastectomy, undergone chemo and radiation… just thankful to still be here and buying Papertrey stuff!
I believe I was 6, and my Great Grandma (aka Sweetie Pie) made me a really cool alligator cake. It was huge, and complete with candy corn teeth! Now I try and create memorable, fun cakes like that for my kids!
This past birthday was my best one yet….laser tag and breakfast for dinner with my family 🙂 Simple and perfect!
My favorite birthday was my 15th birthday. I didn’t expect it to be very good because it was a typical school day, but I was surprised by several friends (some I never thought would even know it was my birthday) with flowers and goodies throughout the day. When I got home we literally had to put the flowers in a bucket because there wasn’t a vase big enough to hold all of them. The day was topped off with a family dinner of all my favorites – my mom’s lasagna and strawberry shortcake. Yum!
My favorite birthday was probably my 16th. I had two friends that had birthdays either on the same day as me or two days afterwards, so we had a big party to celebrate. Such a blast! But my favorite birthday that wasn’t mine own was my husband’s 30th because that was when we announced I was pregnant with my first child!
Mine was my 18th–that’s when my dh proposed 🙂
My favorite birthday was my 40th. My husband planned a nice surprise party and invited my good friends and family. It was very nice and sweet.
My favorite birthday was my 50th. My sister visited and we spent the afternoon by the pool and my husband cooked us a lobster dinner. Later on that evening we all went to the casino and my sister and I both won jackpots on the slot machines.
My favorite birthday party was when I turned 6. I had a pink and white party. Everyone had to wear those colors. My cake was decorated with the characters from Cinderella and I wore a tiara and glass(plastic)slippers. I felt like a true princess.
I think my 30th birthday was the best. I had just gotten married 3 months before. My husband and I had our own little place and he surprised me with gifts (a new bike:)) and the BEST chocolate cake ever!!!
Jeepers–I think I’d have to say my 21st–and not because I was old enough to drink. It was just a happy time in my life and I finally felt grown up.
Mine was my 59 birthday, I was given a granddaughter and she keeps on giving such Blessing everyday.

My favorite birthday was my 35th b-day. I was pregnant with my second daughter and she decided to put me into labor on my birthday, one week before Christmas and her due date. After two trips to the hospital and being told there was “no room in the inn”, she decided that she was coming into the world anyway. Thankfully we made it back to the hospital in time and she ended up having her own b-day instead of sharing mine.
My favorite birthday was my 16th. Since I have a December birthday I was younger than my classmates. I was so excited that I could finally drive and “be cool” like everyone else! LOL! I am loving everything in the release this month!
I would have to say that as an adult the age of my best birthday was 40. We had come through some tough times around us in life and rather than a big splashy party my beautiful husband understood that what I really needed was time away with him, just the two of us. He took me to my favourite spot in the Rocky Mountains and we had the whole weekend together full of precious time, conversation, and rest. Plus beautiful Rockies!
I really loved my Sweet 16 birthday. The best part was spending the day with my Mom – just the two of us. This was rare quality time with her – I have six other siblings so it was hard to get one-on-one time with her when we were growing up. It was a great day. We went to lunch and did some shopping and then to a movie. A very special day and a very special birthday!
My 16th birthday was my favorite. My family and friends threw me a little surprise party and it made me feel really special. Almost all of my other birthday’s were shared with my sisters and brother since we have birthdays so close together. My 16th was all about me.

My favorite was my 9th birthday. I had my first sleep over and my parents got me an ice cream cake shaped like a train. It was AWESOME!!
My most memorable is definitely my 21st as I was a newlywed and had only been in the States for 12 days.Hubby had orders to Pearl Harbor and we drove from Wisconsin to California to drop the car off for shipping to Hawaii. We stayed overnight in Salt Lake City and I still remember the name of the restaurant where we had dinner. =)
My favorite birthday was my 32nd. My husband and I had just married the month before and I was still on cloud 9. I still feel that way 14 years later!
I try not to have any birthdays myself anymore – But I love to celebrate everyone ELSE’s! I say if nobody tells you happy birthday, you don’t have to count it! Of course the down side is that since birthday cake has NO calories, you couldn’t have any.
Regardless of actually celebrating one or not, it’s a good time to give YOURSELF a present!

My 35th – my husband surprised me with a weekend getaway and for each event he suprised me with my closest friends. So thoughtful and loving.
The birthday I remember the most was my 16th birthday which was a long time ago and yet I remember it so well. One of my aunts planned a “tea” for me and my girl friends. It made me feel so grown up.
I think my 35th was the best…I was in love with my now husband and the happiest I had ever been.

I loved my 50th birthday! We went to a Minnesota Vikings game and my kids surprised me by putting up a birthday greeting to me on the jumbotron. It took a lot of planning on their part and I think that is what made the day even more special.
My favorite birthday was the day I turned 10. I came from a family of 5, attended a Catholic School and I was taking piano lessons. My Mother was a SAHM and my Father worked two jobs to make ends meet. The Christmas before my parents bought me a 15 key plug-in organ that sat upon a table and practicing was becoming more and more difficult…I was running out of keys! That afternoon, I went roller skating with my friends and when I came home later that day, my parents were waiting at the door for me and smiling. I walked in, and standing against the wall was a brand new piano!! It was one the happiest days of my life. 🙂

It had to be my sweet 16. I had a big party with all my friends and got my driver’s license on my birthday. I got to drive to my party in my new (to me) car!
My favorite Birthday was my 50th. It was just this year. My special hubby made it one of the best days ever. And soon after my Grand Daughter was born.

I would have to say 16th birthday was my favorite. The year i felt i became an adult. Being able to drive and date and was able to make more of my own dicisions. It was a fun and exciting time. 🙂
My favorite birthday was my 10th birthday. My mom wasn’t big on birthday parties, but I was allowed to have 5 of my friends for a tea party that year. My mom and I made all of the decorations and treat bags. We made banners, flowers galore, favors and invitations in cream, pink, pale green and pale yellow. It was so beautiful, especially my Barbie cake!! It was so much fun and rewarding making it all by hand. I remember my friends enjoying the fruits of our labor….they just loved everything. I’m glad I have such a special memory to cherish.
My absolute favorite birthday was my 50th! It was one of the best days of my life…along with our wedding day and the birth of our two sons! My sweetie of a husband took me on a trip to Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast. As the sun was setting on “my” day, he wrote in the sand, “happy 50th.” I knelt beside it, the sun was blazing on the horizon behind me…it is my favorite photo. I have very few of me as I’m always behind the camera. At dinner he gave me a gift of a diamond necklace…a set of three gorgeous diamonds, one each representing the past, the present and the future! Love that man! At 50…I deserve it! LOL
My favorite birthday was my 21st. I lived in Vegas at the time and my parents took me to dinner at a casino. I thought I’d try throwing some money away in a one-armed bandit. I put $1.25 into a video poker machine and I won $1600!
I would have to say my biggest Birthday was seven years ago when my husband and dear friend had a Surprise Party for me! It was the first surprise party anyone ever had for me and I was totally amazed at how I had no clue!

Hmmm, I think my 18th was my favourite. It was just before grad and I invited a bunch of friends over and we shared a fun BBQ dinner and had a bonfire.
I just turned 48 a couple of weeks ago and I would have to say that my 48th birthday was the best ever.
No big party or over the top celebration – just a quiet day spent with my dear husband and children (but with cake and ice cream, of course).
I guess why it’s my favorite, is that, well, I’m another year older, and another year wiser. I’m happy and content with where life has brought me. I’m glad for all the good and bad that I’ve experienced for it’s shaped me into who I am. I feel blessed beyond measure.

My 9th birthday was spent at Disneyland. I thought it was so cool to be in California (I am from Kansas), wearing shorts( my birthday is Dec. 27th), having fun with my grandparents who I only got to see once a year.

What a perfect question for this release. I must say that because I’m a New Year’s day baby all of my birthdays are fantastic but one of my most favorite ones was my 19th because I had my beautiful daughter on my birthday.
My favorite birthday? It’s always the one I just had, so in this case, it would be my 35th birthday!! My kids sang “Happy Birthday” to me all week, which was just darling. And since my birthday is the week after Thanksgiving, I celebrate my birthday from the day after Thanksgiving all the way until Christmas! I have a Birthday Month!
Great Question! So many it is hard to pick just one but if I had to I would say my 13th. I had a wonderful birthday party and I remember I felt so cool to finally be a “teenager” LOL.
My favorite birthday would have to be my 14th. I remember it very well. We lived in the “country” at the time and my parents drove me to the city (really just a big town) to see the Nutcracker Ballet. Not only did we see the play but we ate at Olive Garden and I received an amethyst ring. I thought life could not get any better that day!
My fave was my 30th. I thought I would be upset to leave my twenties but instead I just remember feeling so content and blessed with everything in my life — a wonderful husband, two beautiful little girls, and a career that I loved.

My favorite birthday was my 18th birthday, which fell during my freshman year of college. I celebrated with some of the best friends I have ever had by going to a concert and when we left, we discovered it had snowed. The entire campus looked so beautiful that night — I still remember it. We sat on the library roof and watched the snow fall over Boston, and everyone sang the Happy Birthday song to me. Such a sweet night and sweet memory.
I think my favorite birthday was 18! High school was finished. I was ready to leave the small town where I grew up and head to college in a city – it was an exciting time! My friends and I celebrated with ice cream on a warm summer night. They remain my closest friends still.

I would have to say my 24th birthday was the best. My now husband surprised me with a weekend getaway where he planned a fun filled weekend for me which included being a kid and going to the Crayola Works store. He also knew I loved dolphins and made sure to get tickets to see a great dolphin show. It was what won me know that this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with.

Wow – there are a lot of birthdays to choose from…hmmmm. I think my favorite birthday was my 18th birthday. I had graduated from High School and was heading to College. I felt like I had accomplished so much and I was leaving home and had my whole life ahead of me. Oh to be so naive again :o). It was still a great birthday and the best summer.
25 was the best! It wasn’t too old or too young and if I had to stay at one age forever – that would be it. Sad to say, that has passed a while ago 🙁

Turning 40 was my best. My friends at work made a big fuss and my husband had a big party for me with our whole family. It was a wonderful day. I have to say though that they are all special because my husband and I share the same birthday.
My favorite was my 60th. My daughter and I had a getaway weekend planned in Indianapolis, complete with mani/pedi/massage and a hotel and fancy dinner given to me as a 60th birthday gift from all the kids. When we got to dinner, there were my 3 handsome sons who had flown in from the east and west coasts to spend the evening and the next morning with us! Was I ever surprised!
I think 21 was my most memorable! I remember going out to dinner and clubs with friends and family all dressed up and a limo escort! What fun we had!
I just turned 50 and honestly, life just gets better and better. My two sons are 14 & 16; I can see a future where they are out on their own. I have loved having children, wouldn’t change it for the world, but am looking forward to having some time with my husband and time alone again. I gladly celebrate every new year!

30 was my favorite birthday. My wonderful family had a small, but perfect, surprise party for me. I never had one before! It was the start of a good year for me. I’ll never forget it.
Definitely my 24th birthday. My then-boyfriend woke me up at 6am and drug me out to the kitchen table to open my presents–including an unexpected engagement ring. The whole day was full of celebratory meals, toasts, and happy phone calls.
The birthday I first thought of when I read this question was my 10th. I had a party with friends that year, which was an uncommon occurance in our family. I wore a flouncy pink dress, we had treasure hunts in the garden and there was a special homemade cake. I think sometimes the simple joys best stand the test of time.

It was my 9th birthday, and my mom was not emotionally or physically up to celebrating…my daddy had died 10 days before Christmas, 22 days before my birthday. So, when I arrived at the high school where my mom was the secretary (after my school had dismissed), a group of students had prepared a birthday party for me!! How cool to celebrate my birthday with high school girls!!!
I’ve enjoyed each and every one of my birthdays but one of the most memorable was my 18th when my father surprised me with a white 280z sports car. It was just like a commercial. My parents had taken me out to an early dinner and when we returned home, the car was sitting in the driveway with a huge red ribbon and bow. To this day, I am stunned that he bought it for me because he was absolutely not extravagant and was always so nervous about us kids getting hurt. But, I guess he loved that car too and we spent the rest of the evening with him teaching me to drive a stick. We took many rides together in that car.
It would have to be my 32nd birthday. I had two beautiful boys and was pregnant with my third child. I went to the doctor for a routine sonogram and found out I was having my daughter! BEST birthday ever!!!

I’d say 30 becuase it was my best year. Everything fell into place in my life. I got married and we had our first child. I also celebrated my birthday with some great people and it was wonderful!
I would have to say it’s a tie between my 16th birthday and my 30th birthday. On my 16th birthday I was grounded for some reason and my mom wouldn’t let me have a birthday party. But she surprised me and invited my two best friends over for a surprise party. We had so much fun and I was very surprised. On my 30th birthday, I was about 8 months pregnant with my son and my parents took my daughter and I out for dinner for my birthday. I had been really down because I got my first speeding ticket the day before, so it was the perfect thing to cheer me up!
I was 6 and we were poor. I knew my parents couldn’t afford much so I asked for a big set of crayons. Best present ever!

One of my favorite birthdays was my 10th. My parents gave me a blue 10 speed Schwinn bike! I felt “so adult.” Had tons of fun times on my 10 speed over years!
This last year – 40 – was my best yet, I got a husband for my birthday 🙂
I think 21. It was very exciting and my first away from home. There was also the “exciting” trip to the dance club and the limo ride with all my dormies.
My sixth birthday was my favorite. We had just docked in Seattle after living in Japan for three years and were getting ready to drive across the country to New York. I got a pair of roller skates as a gift that year and we celebrated at the hotel.
My favorite birthday was my 16th….I had a huge party with all my friends at my dad’s office and it was a blast. Lots of memories….some good, some not, but now all treasures in my mind! =o)
Believe it or not, I remember the snow white cake (it was her cottage) my Mom made when I was four. I loved playing with the figurines. It wasn’t until I was older that I heard the story how she woke up in the middle of the night and the roof had collapsed. I never knew it because she baked another roof and it was perfect cake for my Snow White birthday party.

Its hard to pick! One that stands out in my memory was when I turned 26 and my husband took me to wine tasting dinner at this really fancy restaurant. That was the first time that we had been to anything that “posh” and were overwhelmed at it all – the setting, the gourmet foods, and the wine! At the time we didn’t know that we didn’t have to drink ALL the wine they poured for us. By the end of the evening, we were TOAST! I still chuckle to myself every time I think about it.
My favorite birthday was my 22nd. I had just graduated from college and I was flying to my first teaching job in Australia. We crossed the International Date Line early in the morning, so I missed most of that birthday. (I made it up two years later when I spent my birthday in Fiji, crossed the IDL again and spent a second birthday in Honolulu!)
My favorite birthday ever was when i turned 6. My parents picked me up at school along with a bunch of my friends. When we arrived at our house there was a big slide (a huge surprise in 1958!!!) then my father let each of the children take a ride around our yard on my sister’s horse. Home made birthday cake and ice cream finished it off perfectly.

My mom was not a big party kind of person so birthdays were fairly low-key. It was usually just me and her hanging out and doing fun things on that day. For my 13th, she decided on an all-out party. Lots of food, family, and friends. Tons of gifts weren’t bad either! In hindsight, it was a truly memorable and bittersweet memory. My mom passed away 1 month before my 14th birthday, so birthdays since then are just another day to me. Now on the flipside, I LOVE celebrating my DS’s birthday. I can’t pick a favorite as I’ve enjoyed celebrating all 10 of his bdays so far!!
I actually think it was my 50th this year. My entire family had to get in on the pranks and it was so funny watching them. My parents and aunt (who are in their 70’s) decorated the yard the night before. The kids decorated the house and one DD even decorated my car windows. It was embarrassing but they had so much fun there was no way I could be angry.
My favorite Birthday was my 30th. I was married the day before and we left for our honeymoon on my birthday. We went to Nantucket Island and then to Lake Winnipesaukee in New ahmpshire. My best Birthday ever!

my 5th birthday!!! i had the best cake!!! it was a SWIMMING POOL cake with jelly (aka jello) for the water part…and chocolate fingers (long biscuits) around the outside!!!! it was the BEST!!!

I actually don’t have a favorite birthday memory…every year I get to spend my birthday with my loving family, and my husband buys me a cake from my favorite store, and makes me a birthday dinner. The kids make me handmade cards (which we all know are the best!), so every year is a special birthday for me!
My 9th birthday . . . we always had something at home with siblings but this one was special. My mom always made our cakes (and they were always awesome!) . . anyway this birthday was at the park with a few added school friends and I knew it was extra special because I knew my parents spent extra money in tight times.
My 16th Birthday. I received a stereo system which was great, but what I liked even better than the stereo was solving each of the riddles my parents had created for the Birthday Treasure Hunt they sent me on so they could have time to set up the stereo in my room. They had never taken the time to do that type of Birthday before and it made a huge impression. Great memories!

Plus, I got my driver’s license which at that age felt like amazing freedom. Now, I don’t look forward to turning older as much, but my little kids love to celebrate, so they are all special! Looking forward to the full reveal, PTI is starting 2011 off with a bang!
I can’t say I have a “favorite” birthday. But one of my most memorable ones was my 11th ( I think it was) . I had my first “real” party, and my first “boyfriend” ( well a guy I had a serious crush on and he on me, 😉 )
It was the my first slow dance (to Whitney Houston’s, ‘saving all my love for you’.) with a boy 😮
It’s one of my most memorable, because I still get giddy when I think about it, the same feeling I had, all those years ago.

I don’t remember any birthday being “the favorite”. I enjoy each and every birthday as a special gift from God. I am blessed to have my family and friends to celebrate each birthday with me.
Sadly, my favorite birthday was when I was 7 years old. My Sister organized a “treasure” hunt, and I got to wear a beautiful White dress that my mother sewed for me. We watched the movie ‘Young Frankenstien’, and I had an absolutely wonderful time with all my friends. My sister made it all happen. Since then, I have not really had much of a deal made of my B-day’s, but I am hoping that my Hubby starts getting my hints soon lol.
With four kids and my Dad running his own business, birthdays weren’t as big of a deal when I was a kid as they are these days. But I remember the year I got my bike, and another year when I got a birthstone ring. We always got to pick out our dinner–I usually chose spagetti and meat sauce. Life was good!
Mine was my 40th. My husband had a big surprise party for me. My life in general was happy and we were all healthy.
My favorite birthday was my 60th…my family got tickets to Wicked; it was fantastic. This was a great release, I’m so excited for all the new birthday sets coming out. Thanks for sharing your brilliance.
My favortie birthday was my 40th believe it or not. My husband threw me a surprise party and all the people most important to me were there…all 4 children, my parents and some of my best friends! My dad is no longer with us and I have since moved and my children are 10 years older than they were then….yes I will soon be turning the big 50….where does it go? Still very blessed!!
I loved my 40th birthday! My friends threw me a “sleepover” but no one really slept over. We played games and had food, and went to TP my own house! My husband and friends planned the surprise for me. My hubby even bought me new pjs to wear for the party! It was so much fun!

My favorite was my 45th birthday–I was teaching and my seniors all chipped in to buy me a surprise ice cream cake! Even though I had them as my first class of the day, we all ate a piece. It was an unexpected gift that made my day.
I have to say 40 was my fave! Sounds weird but I felt 21, looked about 35 (or so my friends said! – good friends, huh?) had my health (still do), three amazing kids and the BEST husband ever. I don’t even remember what we did – just normal, nothing over the top but I remember feeling so content – and I am still so very blessed at 50! (But I don’t think I can get away with saying I’m 35 anymore – LOL)
50 – My brothers and sisters threw a surprise party for me at our summer home in the Poconos. It was a fantastic day.
My favorite birthday was my 23rd when my boyfriend surprised me with tickets to a show in NYC.
My favorite was my 30th birthday. I was pregnant with my first child and felt great! I finally felt like a grown-up. 🙂 And I was mature enough to appreciate how truly blessed I am. It was one of those “aha” moments for me.
My 18th Bday… The age to vote changed from 21 to 18, I went to college and met my future husband that year. It was another 4 yrs. before we married and we just finished raising 5 children. Last one just finished college and I now have spare time to do what I love. With the help from PTI I get to make cards to my hearts content.
Definitely 10 – besides the uber cool double-digits, that was when I got my first 2 wheel bicycle 🙂
When I turned 30, my husband showed knocked on the front door holding a HUGE bouquet of 30 mylar balloons. It was so unexpected and memorable!
My favorite birthday was my 10th! I had a sleep over with a few girls from school and we stayed up all night!!! It was a blast!
My 5th BD party was awesome! The theme was Alice in Wonderland and we had masks of all of the characters for everyone and of course I was Alice. We did have one slight problem when one of my friends named Alice wanted my mask. I can”t remember if I shared or not, but the whole theme and all of the paper products were special–the beginning of my love of paper.
Sadly, as I get older, my memory gets worse, so I recall my childhood birthdays, and the most recent one…I think my best was my 6th–it was just before we were going to move across the country, and I had all the neighborhood kids to my party–it was the last time I saw many of them.
My favorite birthday to celebrate wasn’t actually mine, but my twin sons. Last year they turned 10 on 10/10/10. It was such a fun day to celebrate their birth!
My best birthday – I think it would have to have been one when I was a kid – I can still remember the excitment – counting down the days till it was MY birthday. These days the best birthdays are when my little munchkins have theirs – I love to see that joy and excitment!
Probably my 16th birthday was my favorite! My mom took me shopping the weekend before and she wanted to go eat at Pizza Hut. I did not want to eat there, I wanted to eat at Chick-fil-a! LOL!! However she insisted and won!! I was too naive at the time to think anything was up but when we got to Pizza Hut many of my best friends were there waiting for me with a surprise party. That was a lot of fun and very special!
My favorite birthday was my 50th when my church stamping group held a surprise birthday party for me with lots of stamping goodies in a gift bag and of course cupcakes.
That one is easy….my 13th birthday. My mom let me have a big party with a sleepover. I thought it was so cool that I got to have 5 girls stay all night at the same time. Let’s just say it was the first and only time that happened at our house, lol!
My 10th birthday! I was finally in the double digits and my parents through me a luau themed birthday party complete with homemade decorations. My friends and I had the best time ever swimming in the pool and celebrating without a care in the world. Aahh those were the days!!!
Mine was my 25th. I felt like I was at an age where I was really an adult, but still young enough not to have to be too mature. I had a great night of fun with all my family and friends there.
My best birthday EVER was my 30th. I had recently broken off an engagement and decided to take some of the reception plans and throw a big party to celebrate turning 30 and starting a new chapter in my life. Now, that part was good enough but it gets better. My very dear friend agreed to be my escort for the evening. We had been the best of friends for around 5 years at that time and even though I was oblivious, he says he loved me for every minute of it. Well, that night after he dropped my off safely at my house I realized I was in love with him too. We have now been married 7 1/2 years and I can say that every single day I thank God for opening my eyes and for him waiting for me!
Oh mine was 50! I was painting my bathroom when my sweetie insisted on taking me to dinner of pizza (irritation inserted here LOL)…when we got there, I walked into a whole room of family and friends…some who flew clear across the US to be there…a real special surprise for sure!
Mine was my sweet 16 because my parents took me and my bf to Dave and Busters to watch their dinner theater. My dad even wrote them ahead of time and had them bring me into their play. It was so cool.
My 35th – we went on a mini road trip/weekend away to see Cirque du Soleil!
My 33rd birthday. I woke up in Paris then took the Eurostar to London to see Mamma Mia (their first anniversary show). It was a very special day!
My 16th has to be my most favorite…because that is when my Mother and I became friends. She will always be my mom…but she is also my best friend.
My favorite age was 13. I had the best surprise birthday party!
It’s hard to say which birthday was my favourite… One that really stands out is my 9th birthday where we went to the traveling circus. It was fun back then. My mom always made our birthdays special with cakes that went with the themes and lots of fun games!
My 22nd birthday because I got engaged!! We married the following year and it will be 29 years in August. I can’t think of another birthday that tops that one.

My favorite birthday was my 14th! My mom had a surprise party for me, and I was completely surprised. So were the guests, as they were told the party was a different night (their parents knew the truth), and my mom and sisters went out and “kidnapped” all of them!
Probably 22. Had been married for 2 weeks and was just enjoying newly wed life. Although for my 30th I did get to go to Joanns without kids and spend some birthday money. That was good too. It was before I had found PTI goodness, or else I would have been home in my pj’s deciding what stamp set to buy – just like now 🙂
7 years-old. My parents took me camping and we had a campfire birthday cookout. For me it was magical. My father died a couple months later, and so the camping trip is my most lasting memory of him. I’ll never forget him singing Happy Birthday by the campfire…ahhh! Even though it’s bittersweet, still the best birthday ever!
My favorite birthday was my 16th birthday. It was a great pool party with my best friends. Oh to be young and without a thought of responsibility.
Oh my, such a tough one. At my age, as long as I am still having birthdays, each one is my favorite.
I think mine was turning 18. My parents threw a party with a lot of close family friends and it was just a really great night with people I cared about. It was also a surprise and I was completely shocked! That and it was fun to officially be an adult. 😀
My favorite birthdatpy was my 30th birthday. We had a party at our house with friends and family which was just really nice. We had recently moved into the house and it was nice to get to show it to people who had never seen it before. We also rented a slushy machine – who doesn’t love a slushy machine !?! My parents and sister came in from out of town, which made it that much more special!j
My favorite birthday was when I turned 8. My parents didn’t think ‘friend’ birthday parties were necessary, so my older sister took pity on me and threw a birthday party for me! I look back and and it reminds me of what a wonderful sister she is!
Last year on my 36th birthday. My husband surprised me with my “dream Jeep”…a khaki Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Never thought that day would ever happen. He’s a keeper!
My seventh because my grandmother made me my favorite cake and she bought me a Gerber baby doll that had an orange gingham dress. Now that my grandmother is gone, I always look back at that birthday in particular and smile.
My favorite birthday was my 18th. I was soon to be a Senior in high school, and my parents hosted a huge surprise party / luau for me with all of my friends. If I had known ahead of time that my parents were planning a party for me I probably would NOT have been excited about it at that time in my life (angst-filled teen and all), but they went all out and it was so much fun!
I will never forget my 9th birthday. The upside was that I finally got a Marie Osmond doll. Oh, she was beautiful, she had a handkerchief hem dress made with sheer Hibiscus Burst & Plum Pudding fabrics! And, if I remember correctly she had a little rhinestone belt, see even in 1976 there was bling baby! The downside was that I had a horrible infection in my mouth, and couldn’t enjoy my favorite birthday dinner, rolled roast cooked on the grill by my dad. But, all in all, it was a fantastic birthday!
Looking back, I can say 30 was a great birthday. I just turned 40 last Saturday and I hope I can say the same thing in 10 years! Everyone I talk to says it just keeps getting better.
The one that stands out the most for me is my 8th. I finally got to have a party with some friends from school and I got the barbie camper I always wanted, lol.
I’d have to say that 22 was definitely my favorite birthday. I had just had my first child 6 days earlier and was the happiest I’d ever been!! 🙂

Tomorrow is my 36th birthday! So, if I get picked, it could make the list….. just sayin’!! I really enjoyed last year (35)…. The Melting Pot for the first time and MY KINDLE!!!!
My favorite would have to be my fiftieth. I spent it with my family and three other families close to us on a trip to Hawaii. Eight teenage boys, one teenage girl and eight adults – we had a wonderful, exhausting time!
My favorite birthday was 40…great time to realize that you are just getting started.
I’ve had so many it’s hard to remember just which one would be my favorite!! I feel very thankful to celebrate each one.
My Favorite birthday was my 30th. My husband threw a surprise party and I was seriously surprised! He even got two of my best friends from Michigan to fly down to FL. That’s not the only reason though. It was just a great time in my life I wish I could go back in time to feel how nice it was to have everyone I loved in one spot!
It’s a toss up between 2. on my 24th birthday, my high-school sweetheart, my now husband, asked me to marry him. Then, on my 28th birthday, we brought home my 1st born son, Christopher, who had been born 2 days before. Great release this month!!!
I think 10. My mom let me have a “cake decorating party”, baked a layer of a cake for everyone, gave us each a can of frosting (the first time “canned” frosting had ever been used at our house) and all the decorations and let us have at it. Now as a parent I can imagine what chaos that must have been, but I thought it was the best.
My favorite had to be my 17th. I had a huge blow-out party and all my friends were there. After all the guys left, my girlfriends and I stayed up chatting the night away. There may have been some TP’ing involved, too… 🙂

I’m going to go with my 30th. My husband took the day off of work so I could have a ‘day off’ myself. Other than messing up on the pick up time for Preschool (he was only 15 minutes late), he did great. I was able to shop at a few of my favorite stores that aren’t kid friendly and aren’t open in the evening, stamp several cards, and also spend time with my kids without having to worry about cooking and cleaning!
I don’t think I’ve had my favorite yet. I’m sure when I was much younger that my birthdays were fun and exciting. But I’ve been dreading them now since I was 21, the last 4 years. I’m hoping the best is yet to come! Maybe my 25th will surprise me. 🙂
Mine would have to be my 25th. We were planning for our wedding coming in 3 months and we picked out a new puppy (my first dog), a little mini doxie. She’s now 10 and she’s been such a great addition to our family I can’t imagine it without her!
I’d say my favorite was the day I was born. I just love life and every day is a joy. I do not enjoy big birthday parties, and rarely does anyone try to give me one, so most birthdays are delightfully perfect.
My favorite birthday was my 34th because my Aunt surprised me with tickets to see Phantom of the Opera at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco, plus I got to shop until I drop in one of my all time favorite cities.
13 was my favourite because my sister, my best friend and I went to see the movie Oliver. Then home for homemade cake (with money inside) and a sleepover.
I would have to say my 12th birthday. I still remember going to a special restaurant with my friends and having jugs of rootbeer.
My favorite birthday was probably my 10th. It’s the only birthday I remember having while my mother was still with me. She went through so much trouble to make sure I had the “coolest” party ever… And yes, the invitations were handmade. 🙂 Gotta love birthdays!… Thanks for another great release!

27. I had a great party with a great group of friends and I made an awesome cake.
Mine would have been my 40th, which was last February. My family spoiled me rotten and took me on a mini vacation. We did everything I love.
My favorite birthday was my 36th. My boyfriend (now my husband)took me out to dinner and told me that he loved me for the first time!!
Favorite birthday was 72. I had a surprise party and I was soooo surprised. Beside that I had two other parties. It is so heart warming to have so many friends and five generations of family.

My 18th birthday – I really felt like I had become an “adult” It was a great day and the rest of the year brought lots of changes too – left home for university, new city, new friends.
It is such a simple question but one that I had to think about very seriously . Favourite birthday….I guess that it would have had to be my tenth! It wasn’t so much about birthday parties or receiving “highly coveted” gifts but it was that family was all around me and that made me feel safe and very loved. I could conquer anything and the world was my oyster. Everything was fresh, exciting and attainable!
Growing up, my parents never had birthday parties for my brother or me. So, when I turned 6, I took it upon myself to run around the neighborhood inviting all my friends to my house for cake and ice cream…then I ran home and told my Mom!!!!! She was mad, but went to the grocery store for ice cream and a bigger cake!!! Funny the things we remember! Now that I’m getting closer to hitting 50 (YIKES!), I think I’ll invite my friends over for nachos and margaritas instead!!!!! LOL!!! Such a wonderful release of products Nichole!
My best birthday was when I was 8 years old. We had a party in my back yard complete with balloons, streamers, picnic tables covered with bright colored table clothes,a very large birthday cake and a table full of presents!

I spent the entire day hiding from her.

My favorite birthday was my 30th b/c my husband and I went out and celebrated with my two girlfriends who were also celebrating their birthdays. It was a blast!
My 30th — I spent it with my sons, spouses, granddaughter and my significant other — went boating all day and then out to dinner — very relaxing and enjoyable.
So hard to single out one special birthday but every one since I was 39 has been wonderful. I was remarried and my hubby has always made each year special. I never have to remind him of the date either!
My favorite birthday was 50 (can you believe it?!). I share a birthday with a cousin, and was lured to a fabulous hotel under the guise of a surprise birthday party for HER. Imagine my shock when we opened the door and there were all MY friends, family, and co-workers. Some were even from out of state! It was a wonderful nite, and certainly took the “sting” out of that big number!
I would have to say the year I turned 27, in the same month that I found out I was pregnant with my first child. My whole life was turned upside down (in a good way!) after my daughter arrived. I feel like I’ve led an entirely new life since that 27th birthday!
My favorite was 50. Both my sister & sister-in-law surprised me by flying to Cincinnati to see me. My SIL came from Chicago and my sister from NJ. We had the best time shopping, drinking wine and just goofing around singing & dancing. (It was the wine.)
Most of them have been pretty good. My 16th stands out a bit more than the some of the other years. I was in Driver’s Education at the time and my best friend went to the trouble of baking a cake that was shaped like a car, it was awesome!
My favorite birthday would be my 30th. My husband took me on a cruise and I surprisingly didn’t get sea sick! It was our first year being married so everything was so new and romantic! Not like now! Just kidding, but we have kids now… enough said!
Every age is my favorite birthday, because I got to enjoy my family and life another year!! I turned 54 this year and I am more than willing to tell my age.
My 18th informal debut was my favorite. I’ve never forgotten the touching speech my mom gave about me and, 20 yrs later, I’m still great friends w/ the same group of girls in my birthday pics =)
Probably when I turned 42. I had been dating and seeing Vince every day for months and he gave me a diamond pendant necklace “to see how I responded to diamonds.” My birthday is in November, so I got that and then I got a ring for Christmas.
I think 16 would have to be my favourite birthday. My parents never made a big deal about birthdays (I never even had a birthday party as a kid). On my 16th birthday my teenage girlfriends made a big deal and made me feel pretty special.It was awesome. So I made a pledge to myself that my kids would have a party every year and know that their birthdays are very special! They deserve it! (and the smiles on their little faces makes me just as happy as they are!)
I would have to say my 40th. I was dreading it for months. Then I went to visit my family over my birthday and they didn’t do anything to acknowledge it was the big 4-0! I was so angry!! What I didn’t know is that they had planned a surprise party for me the following weekend. They got me good! And I apologized for all the names I called them behind their back 🙂
No question, it was SWeet SiXteen! I passed my driver’s test the morning of my birthday and cruised the entire day…
My favorite was my 65th birthday … made me eligible for Medicare after paying premiums for private insurance for too many years!
My 30th Birthday was my favorite because my sister’s gift to me was to go with her, her husband, and her first child to the ultrasound appointment of her second child!
Mine was my 43rd last summer. My husband and I got married late in life and had our only child as older adults. Punkey is really into birthdays. She spent weeks finding and making perfect gifts for me. She found beautiful rocks around the ranch to wrap. She colored and drew special pictures. She wrapped everything she could find for me. Needless to say we never have much clean paper or tape around our house! I think I have a little crafter in the making!!!! It was just really special having a six year old putting so much thought into creating specials gifts for me.
I had to work the dinner shift on my 21st birthday so I didn’t get home until close to midnight. My sister had flown in to Texas from California that same evening. She was waiting for me when I got home and we sat at the kitchen table and talk all night and polished off a great bottle of wine.

Mine was my 30th. My husband threw a surprise party. I got to spend the day with him and our two boys and all of our extend family as well. I remembering feeling so fortunate to have so much family around me and proud to know that I was 30 and I was a wife, mom of two wonderful boys, teacher and yet still knew how to have fun. It was a great day!
My most memorable birthday was last year. My best friend surprised me with a trip to Chicago. We had a blast! I’ll never forget it!
My favorite was my 5th. My mom had a party for me and I had a beautifully decorated “doll” cake. It was the best. My youngest sister is still jealous 50 some years later!
Ooo..this is an easy one! My husband proposed to me on my 19th birthday…down on one knee, under the light of a full moon. Nothing will ever beat that birthday!
My favorite birthday was my sweet 16. It was the first birthday party that I had where I could invite friends, not just cousins and other family members. My then boyfriend brought me my first dozen roses. It was a great day that created a special memory.
I must say that every birthday is my favorite! You see, I am a cancer survivor, and I believe that each birthday is a gift. This year will be my 38th birthday, but it will be my 14th year in remission!! I give thanks for every year I get!!
My 11th! My Mom and Dad set up a scavenger hunt for me and along the way there were eleven presents. That was so cool! Great release! Can’t wait!

I’ve always had good birthdays, but I can’t think of a favorite one. I’m thinking the best is yet to come!
40 My husband arranged with my boss for me to have the day off without my knowledge. We piled in the car for a weekend vacation but as we traveled, the roads became slick and icy. He had to cancel our reservations but I didn’t even care because it was so sweet that he went to all that trouble for me. We ended up staying home that weekend but I still got lots of fun paper crafting presents from him and the kids.
Why 50…of course! My husband surprised me with a VW convertible bug!
I’d have to say my 29th birthday was my favorite. I’d just had a little girl and everything was right with the world. A very happy birthday indeed.
Mine was 40. My sister had a suprise party for me which actually worked. Every other time someone spoiled it and let it slip. I was actually suprised this time. Had a great family time.
It was my 21st birthday! It’s the only one I can remember where I actually celebrated it. I had. Small party with friends and my flatmate! We were so happy with our new digs in South Africa, a wonderful apartment, almost on the top floor with beautiful views! It makes me miss home even now!
My whole family knows I hate surprises. But when they tricked me into a surprise 50th birthday party, it was so much fun. So many people were there. Our adult children were busy putting out food and serving guests. I was so proud of them all. It is a a really nice memory!

My favorite birthday was my 32nd because my daughter was born on that day. It was all the more special because it was my mom’s birthday too and she was with me when my daughter was born. I love sharing my birthday with my mom and daughter!
My favorite birthday was my 30th. I went to Vegas with my cousin, Erika. It was MY first time going and we had SO much fun. Her boyfriend at the time was a high roller at Mandalay Bay where we stayed and we got the royal treatment in every way. Limos, drinks, comps of any type..oh gosh, it was just THE best. We shopped and ate until we dropped. Sitting by the pool, sipping piña coladas…ahhh..good times. It might be time for another trip to out West! 🙂
I loved my 10th birthday the most! my mom surprised me with a party that was themed around my favorite TV show (90210) with a cake and new lunch box and everything they had out at the time. It was just so much fun and unexpected and really sticks out to me. I am hoping this year will be just as memorable as it will be my 30th birthday and I can not wait to celebrate it! my favorite birthday is my last birthday, 31, because i celebrated being a mommy of a little boy and girl!!!
Probably my 47th birthday was the best. I got an engagement ring from my now husband. I had met him the year before and was given another chance at happiness later in life when he asked me to marry him.
36th! My birthday is right next to Christmas and my husband suprised me with a travel trailer and it snowed! It was the perfect day!

I have had so many special birthdays. My Mom threw me a surprise 18th, that was so fun. All of my friends and family were there…great memories. I would have to say though, that birthdays now are even better…I love that my kids are old enough to participate and I get cards made by them and breakfasts and all kids of wonderful surprises. I have a super fantastic hubby who makes sure every birthday is a great day! I adore him.
The year I turned 10… My birthday is in December which is magical anyways.. I remember getting to stay up late and go to Toys r Us with my parents and then out to dinner. I felt like such a grown up! I also got one of those Barbie head/busts that you styled her hair.. lol simple but very exciting memories!
When I was approaching my 25th, I mentioned to my mom – “I can’t believe I’m going to be a quarter of a century OLD!” It was the first birthday where I really felt like I was getting “old”. My mom sent me a birthday package (I was away at school) that included a bunch of coloring books and crayons! She wanted to make me feel young again… it was so sweet! Ahhhh, 25 sounds SO young now!
My 40th birthday. My sweet hubby planned a wonderful, romantic dinner at our favorite restaurant. At dinner he presented me with a card in which he’d written a poem. The first word of each line of the poem when read from start to finish was my birthday gift, it told me that he was taking me to a bed and breakfast in Maine! That was a surprise I’ll never forget 🙂
That would be my 13th birthday. My older brother took me to the mall to buy me my first pair of designer jeans and name brnad top. I remember counting down the days until that birthday just to do that.
Most memorable was my 16th. My family had a surprise party for me and my now husband was put in charge of keeping me busy and out of the house all day.
My favorite birthday was when I turned 40. My friends had a surprise birthday for me. It was wonderful! Also, turning 40 didn’t bother me age-wise…but turning 50, well…it just seems like things start “breaking”.
My favorite birthday was 4 years ago.
Amazingly, I received a card from every single one of my lady friends. It was like a birthday present that flowed from envelope to envelope!
I was so blessed!
My favorite birthday was when I turned 18. I felt like I owned the world. Little did I know. HA!
I can’t even remember which year it was, but my husband and I went out with a lot of our close friends from high school for Mexican.
My 23rd … I took a trip to California, visited some friends and had a blast
Mine was my 21st. I was in the air force. We had to march in formation to school at 5:30 am every day. On my birthday the person who marched us over called me out of formation when we got there. Around 150 people shined their flashlight on me and sang happy birthday to me. It made me feel so special and I will always remember that feeling.
I loved my 27th birthday party. Three of my closest friends and I went to dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant, and then afterward, we met up with a bunch of friends and family at a local piano bar. We drank, we laughed, we ate Twilight cake. It was fantastic! My parents came and had a drink and my dad got called up to stage which was hilarious. I got serenaded a dirty song in front of my parents and they couldn’t stop laughing. It was just a great, great time.
My favorite birthday was just last year’s. . .32. After being gone for years 28-31 for various deployments and field time, my husband was here to help me celebrate and he made up for being gone for those 4 in a row by buying me my uber nice camera 😀
My 37th birthday was the most memorable for me because it was the year I became a mother. After many years of trying to have children, we were finally successful and brought our beautiful daughter home.
My 30th birthday. I was pregnant with my son.
I would definately have to say my 30th birthday. I was 8 months pregnant with my second child which I was thrilled about! Also, my family threw me a surprise party that was the best ever!
My favorite birthday was 16. I was thrown a surprise party and I got a car from my parents. Can you say sweet!
I would say my 13th. That is when we finally got to move into our own house. It was so cool to finally have a room of my own!

My favorite birthday I think was when I turned 13. I had a huge sleep over with all my friends and never wanted the evening to end. I think we stayed up all night talking about boys and eating junk food.
My favorite birthday was my 40th. I had my husband and daughter to celebrate with me. They gave me a wonderful surprise party.
My birthday is close to Halloween, and my parents had a surprise costume party to celebrate my 10th birthday. I remember parading around in our costumes and bobbing for apples. Those were the days!
My ninth birthday…it was my golden birthday, and I had a slumber party. I was so excited!!!
My favorite birthday? Maybe 40th because my twin sister and I had a party!
My favorite birthday was when I turned 13. I’ve only had 2 birthday parties in my life so far & the last one was when I turned 13. It was a pool party at one of the local hotels & I had all of my friends there. I just remembering it being a really special/rare event & I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!
I honestly cannot say what my favorite birthday was, though I have plenty that were memorable for all the wrong reasons. I can say that the favorite part of every birthday growing up was Mom’s homemade chocolate cake. It was my absolute favorite and I still love it when she makes it for me.
My favorite birthday was definitely my 30th. I was pretty reluctant to leave my 20s so I decided to have a huge fancy dress party to have something to enjoy about it. The guests were asked to come dressed as “something fun you’ve done with Kerri”. The costumes were all amazing, and I spent the whole night remembering and sharing special times I’d shared with each person.
WOW a favorite?? All birthdays are the BEST!! It’s a day to celebrate you, but if I were to choose one I would say my 16th was the BEST because I was so excited to get my drivers licence!! (=
My favorite birthday was my 28th birthday this past December. Birthdays weren’t a bit thing in our family since I turned 16 and I just started teaching 2 years ago and my co-workers went all out for me and made it the best birthday since I was 16. It was fabulous and those ladies went above and beyond.
I loved my 26th Birthday…. was a newlywed on my first ever trip with my husband. We went to Chicago and visited the museums…. had a lovely dinner and then we saw Cabaret. It was a great day that I have never forgotten.

While growing up I had just one “friend” birthday party at 7 years old. I was well celebrated and loved all my other birthdays with family but when my friends joined me at age 7 it was quite a momentous occasion. I remember it to this day!
29….I was a new mother.
My favorite birthday was my 28th. I was expecting my first child. My family all wrote letters to Bailey (my daughter) each telling her a funny story about me. I gave those letters to her when she went away to college. Good times. Hard to believe that girl is now 27.
My favorite birthday was definitely my sweet sixteen! My best friend threw me a surprise party!
My favorite birthday was when I turned 16 and was able to get my drivers license.
My 25th birthday was pretty swell. That was the birthday where my husband bought me a plane ticket to CHA and had a local baker make me a special cake. His gifts were very sweet and I won’t soon forget them.
I think I will have to say 25. It was my first birthday being married, and my husband always makes me feel so special on my birthday…but I am hoping that next year will be even more special since it will be my first birthday as a mom.
Gosh I can’t remember my birthdays when I was young. If I had to pick one, I would probably pick turning 21.
The only birthday (party) that I can remember as a child was when I turned eleven (1958). My father had just died two months before. No one explained death back in the day. I was crushed and still get teary eyed thinking about it. Not having many toys or anyone to play with (you don’t miss what you don’t have & country living) my aunts got together, made me a party at the farm with all my cousins, and gave me a ‘walking doll’ which I still treasure.
