I will never forget the first time I met Ashley…
It was at CHA last summer. As soon as I saw her, I was immediately drawn to her huge, welcoming smile. Energy and enthusiasm along with creativity exudes from every pore. She's just one of those people that you want to get to know better. You want her passion for life to rub off on you!
Not only is Ashley an amazing woman with an even more amazing personality & aura, she's also one of the most talented paper crafters around. Her work is fresh & fun and always contains something of the unexpected. She utilizes color to set a mood or a style unlike any other designer I've seen. She's innovative and unique. And it is an unbelievable treat for us to have the opportunity to work with her as she fulfills the role of Distinguished Guest Designer over the next two months.
Here's more about Ashley, in her own words…
"I have enjoyed the art of design my entire life. As a child, I created hair accessories and designed my own clothes. I've always loved fashion and interior design.
"Color is one of my favorite elements to highlight in my designs, from cards to clothes. My design style flows with my life. Every day could bring on a new and different design and I love that about art."
"My first introduction into paper art started with a simple scrapbook in high school. Using the products available at the time, the book is full of magazine clippings, sequins, and even pipe cleaners. Over time, I rediscovered the craft and started blogging in 2008."
"My favorite techniques in paper crafting includes stamping and creating my own embellishments. I never imagined how fun this industry would be. Since starting, I've created friendships and journal some of the most important aspects of my life along the way. Paper crafting even fulfills my travel itch throughout the year!"
"I live in Northern Virginia with my best friend and love of my life, McArthur and our Yorkshire Terrier, Ozzy. We enjoy photography and traveling together. During the day, I am legal editor and by night I paper craft into the wee hours of the morning."
"Since last year, my work can be found in card-based publications. I've also recently started my own challenge-based e-zine called –>Embellish<– to inspire others to create when there is no mojo."

I’m a big fun of Ashley’s work. And those card are just gorgeous.
I try to find your email, Nichole, but I had no luck.
I love your stamps and I would love to have some polyglot sets. A set like Mega mixed messages with the most use one in 4-5 languages (French,Italian, German, Spanish). The fonts could be the same or something fitting with that language. It could be a big set with all in one, or more little sets with one language only.
I live in Germany, and I have a lot of friends all other the world, so those Mixed Polyglot Messages are my dream.
Thanks.
Laura

Beautiful cards by Ashley! BUT – I stopped by her blog and was unable to leave a comment to try to win the PTI goodies. By email, Ashley responded to me saying only folks with gmail or who set up a Blogger profile can leave a comment on her blog (and therefore have a chance at winning). That’s so disappointing 🙁 . Please give other email users a chance to win as well. Regardless, I’m so excited she’s going to be a PTI Guest Designer.
