All of us at Papertrey Ink are working hard behind the scenes as we prepare for the upcoming CHA Craft SuperShow. David & I were in charge of designing & prepping the gigantic 20×20 booth. As we begin to put the finishing touches on everything, I thought it might be fun to do a little countdown of sorts, here on the blog, leading up to the day we set up our booth, Thursday, July 30th. I'm preparing to take lot of photos while I'm there and post daily from the show!
I've been thinking a lot this week about how attending this show with an exhibit has always been a fantasy of mine. After years of attending these shows, I always thought about *what I would do* if I had a booth there. Well, I am pleased to say that it is turning out beautifully. I''ve thought about every detail, filling it full of eye candy and keeping it shopper friendly. I can hardly stand waiting until next week to see the entire project come together and to hear customers reactions when they set foot inside the booth for the first time!
So how about a first little peek? This is what I did all morning today….
Fruit made from Papertrey supplies. Ribbon, cardstock & buttons. Bright citrus-y color schemes. It's been fun thinking about how to recreate these sweet treats with paper crafting mediums. So what do you think this might have to do with our booth? Aren't they the cutest???
I'll have another little tidbit for you tomorrow, so stay tuned as we countdown to the CHA SuperShow~
Latisha says
I’m sure the booth is going to be perfect in everyway….I hope you have huge success there!

Harriet Hensley says

Oooo…a countdown is a great idea. I’m already bouncing out of my seat that I’ll be there in exactly ONE WEEK (going Saturday only), and these countdown posts will just get me that much more excited. I can’t wait to see what you’ve done with the booth. I know it will be absolutely gorgeous — I don’t think you know HOW to do any less. 🙂 BTW…PLEASE save some stuff for Saturday! I’m so afraid that when I get there, you’ll be out of everything! Including – gasp – the special purchase set!!!

Leave it to you to find a fun way to include all of us in the time leading up to the event! I would love to be there, but a variety of circumstances mean that it’s not possible this time. I’m so glad we’ll be able to follow you here on the blog, even if it means that we won’t be able to join in all of the fun (and shopping)! Have a wonderful time meeting some of your customers in person and getting to see your dreams materialize with the booth. I know it will be absolutely fabulous!
Maureen P says
Oh, Nicole…I was once hoping I would be able to make it all the way down there from BC, Canada, but it’s just too far this year 🙁 and our vacation plans didn’t fit it in. Will be thinking about all of you and visiting vicariously through your posts. I’m sure your booth will be the best one, you are so creative and talented 🙂

Could they be make and takes for customers to work on when they visit your booth? Whatever they are, they’re cute!
ElizabethB says
Gorgeous! Are you going with a garden picnic setting for the booth? Or maybe a vintage inspired kitchen theme? I will just have to wait and see your photos. 🙂

Okay. I just thought of another cute way to use the ‘fruit’ theme. Preserving your memories. Cute way to use the new fruit stamps. 😉

How Cute! Florida is the ‘Sunshine’ state where we get lots of oranges from. And with it being summer, I love how you have shown how to make 3D items (the strawberry) using Papertrey Ink products. Love the orange with the white ended straight pins holding the button down. And what punch did you use for the leaves? Wish I could be there to experience this. Looking forward to all the pictures to come.
