There is a wonderful sense of camaraderie that occurs when women get together to explore their creativity. That is probably one of the reasons why so many paper crafting based conventions & expos are so successful and continually see record setting crowds. For many of us though, the time and the cost can sometimes be prohibitive for these types of things. And if you are anything like me, it can be hard to pack for and even concentrate on getting your mojo flowing because you are outside of your normal crafting element!
I wanted to spread the word about Virtual Scrapbook Night @ SCS.
It is beautifully organized event that takes place every few months. Tomorrow happens to be the start of this amazing opportunity! It is open to EVERYONE and there is absolutely no cost involved. You just show up to participate! You can go HERE to read all the details!
So what exactly do you DO during a Virtual Scrapbook Night, you ask?
Challenges will be posted every two hours, and really it’s not just a "night". It’s an all day event. There has even been a shopping list provided so you can gather all of the necessary materials necessary for the challenges before the event begins. You can then post your creations online to share with all of the other participants. It will be so interesting to see the different projects that stem from the original challenges and instructions! I was very honored to be asked to design a challenge for this event myself!

I really enjoyed getting the opportunity to scrap when concepting the challenge that I prepared! It has been a while for me! The project is super easy & fun. I am sure you will find many, many uses for the concept!

Still a newbie, I am just now reading of the up-coming changes for your creative outlet, and you will be greatly missed. I just ordered some more punches from Papertrey, and need to make a list of stamps. Do you have a ‘must have’ list I should look at 🙂 Thanks for all the inspiration and creativity you share.
